Installation:

Voyage to Fantasy: Part 1 downloads to a 77.7 MB zip file that unzips to three files, (a setup.gcd security wrapper, the set-up file and a read me). Those with multiple hard drives can save games on any drive they wish by replacing the C drive with whatever drive letter they wish the game to be installed to or If you have multiple hard drives you can save games on any drive you wish by replacing the C drive letter in the path with whatever drive letter you wish the game to be installed to. The newly installed game is 80.7 MB in size. The game installs to the following path by default:

C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPlayCity.com\Mermaid Adventures

However, if you prefer a different path for installation for example I use G:\Games\ name of game instead of 'C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPlayCity\name of game'. You can edit the default path when the Setup - Mermaid Adventures - Select Destination Location window appears.

Four shortcuts are installed to the desktop, three of which can be safely deleted (i.e. Play Online Games, MyPlayCity Games and shortcuts to a free online game; the name of which may vary each week). If you don't want to install the games shortcut to the desktop during installation, just make sure the install desktop shortcut is unchecked when the 'additional task's window appears; you will still get two of the other MyPlayCity shortcuts installed i.e. the Play Online Games and MyPlayCity Games shortcuts. Also, if you don't like icons installed to the quick launch task bar, make sure you also uncheck the appropriate checkbox when the 'additional task's window appears (after the Select Start Menu Folder window).

Introduction:

Save the underwater world from an evil Octopus in a gorgeous game Mermaid Adventures: the Frozen Time! A mermaid Alice goes to the Sorceress – a wise Turtle. From the Turtle she learns that an evil Octopus has just stolen a magic clock and stopped the time. The Turtle's house is protected be magical spells that is the Sorceress and Alice are still awake. Help the brave mermaid find all the parts of the magical clock and save her world in the colorful game Mermaid Adventures: the Frozen Time! Visit the Sand Bank, Blue Lagoon, Coral Reef, Deep Sea Rocks and Underwater Cave where the evil Octopus hides! The challenging Match 3 levels are waiting for you! Make the chains with the tokens and destroy all sand tiles to complete the level. The longer the chains are, the more scores you get.

Watch out! Soon the evil Octopus will try to prevent you from collecting the clock parts and will send jellyfish to the playing field. You can't make chains with them. Moreover there will be frozen tiles and chained tiles to make the game more difficult! Wake your friends up one by one from the everlasting dream! Start with Crabby. Collect the hidden objects in your friend's house and solve the puzzle with his image! For your achievements you will get wonderful trophies! If you are smart and quick-witted you will be awarded with a Dolphin statuette. Earn 10000 points and get a Seahorse award! Wake the underwater world up from the everlasting dream in the game Mermaid Adventures: the Frozen Time!

The Game:

Unfortunately I wasn't able to run this game on my computer' (a very rare occurrence).The load screen appears then an error message pops up saying ''Unrecoverable error - Error finding sound device? I've tried all the usual fixes but no joy. After almost an hour of trying to fix it I decided to call it a day. You can see game play videos below that will give you enough visual information to hopefully help you decide whether or not to download todays match three game.:)

Problems getting the game to work:

If you're having problems installing or activating or getting Mermaid Adventures: The Magic Pearl to work please visit the FAQ's Thread HERE and read through the communities comments because sometimes fixes have already been posted, for example, a common issue seen since the Themida wrapper was introduced three years ago is that some community members installation of the game are blocked by their security because Themida code has been known to hide malware, (usually an error message is flagged for example 'The executable is corrupted' even though in reality it is not); so as a precaution some anti malware programs will block and even delete the suspect installation files even though the files (i.e. the setup, read me and setup.gcd files are actually totally free from malware. This issue can be solved either by rebooting your computer in safe mode with networking or a quicker method is to temporarily turn off your security software to allow the installation. You could also try whitelisting the setup.gcd file. In the almost 12 years this game giveaway site has been operating there has 'never' been a game given away that was infected with malware.
