Lawrence Carter,
Hi Lawrence, I gave up on the emails a long time ago and simply visit the game giveaway page instead. Knowing that the games run for 24 hours and knowing they start at 8pm during the winter months and 9am during the summer months in the UK. That way I never miss another game (unless I'm on vacation or are ill).
Because I moderate I usually know what games are being given away via the admin panel prior to them going live, which helps not miss any; though I do occasionally.
I would consider not bothering with the emails and just go straight to the giveaway page. When the giveaway project first started I used to open up the site during my morning coffee. I've been retired since my road traffic accident back in 2005, so have always found visiting the site, which started in 2006 a relaxing habit. When the site was still relatively new I found it quite exciting, wondering what the next game would be (back when we got games every day from the likes of Playrix and Alawar games). None were from free game sites, so there were no intermediaries or browser redirections back then. Sadly the financial crisis back in 2008 put paid to that as many small developers who used to contribute went bust and the price of games were drastically cut from $19.99 to between $4 to $6, plus there was a large increase in the number of free game sites and indie bundle sites where you could buy games for virtually nothing.

A nice little old school kind of game using the Unity engine. Downloaded without issue and scanned clean. It's a portable version so no installation is necessary, just unzip the download and launch the application exe file. There are options to adjust both the sound and music volumes. It doesn't save your progress so if you close it and come back, you start over from the beginning. However, there are forward and back arrows at each level so you can bypass a level if you choose. It, obviously, gets more challenging as the game moves on and the boards get larger.
A fun play to have in your game lineup.
Thank you to the Manicware and GOTD teams.
Happy Holidays all!

J,
Thank you for your feedback J. I've only just got up, so missed the game when it went live this morning.
Stay safe.

Whiterabbit-uk,
Your're welcome! I am happy to contribute whenever I can and since the board was empty, I thought whatever little I could share might help some in their decision about trying the game.
