I have the same problem as 34!!! I am very upset about it!!! I beat the game and then I had to delete it because I wanted to get it off of full screen too....I e-mailed alawar and I am waiting for a responce....

I had downloaded this and something went wrong it went minimized and would not go back to full screen, I had to delete the game and I miss it, I loved playing it :( is there anyway to get my download back?

Thanks! I originally wrote Comment 3, but had not uninstalled the game yet. After reading your comment I tried Quest mode and then the other two modes and all options (like choosing tile sets and backgrounds) became available. You do have to play Quest mode for a while for those things to be unlocked though. Wish that had been explained in the program's help file or at their web site, but it was not.

I love this game! Did not experience any of the above-said problems. I installed the game, activated it, played a few levels in quest mode until classic and endless became available, and voila! Thank you very much for this awesome game!... My question is... when will the game for 12/12 be available? I am waiting in anticipation! 10/10

Works perfectly - you have to play the quest mode for a few levels to unlock the classic and endless modes 10/10!

I am having the exact same problem as #17, on a Dell running Windows 2000.

If you download it from Alawar's site, install it and then run the activate.exe in the zip file you downloaded here, it will work fine and be activated.

Great game, i have never played Mahjongg untill i downloaded this one, and i'm already hooked! Keep it up :)

The game is okay, but it's a bit choppy on my computer.
I hope that it's just the fact that it's almost time for me to reboot this box that's doing it.

It's strange that it's choppy on a Win2k box at 2GHz and a gig of RAM, though.

I don't normally care for Mahjong, but I really like this one.

Nice Game. I've not played mahjong for years, since I put my bamboo and synthetic ivory tiles up in the loft. Now I'll be playing it regularily. I like the progression of genre you've given away since this started with my favorite genre. looking forward to sampling others.

Absolutely Fantastic, have bought many mahjong games over the years. This has to be one of the best. Gameplay with style and the quest storyline makes it that bit more of an adventure. Top game 10/10 GOTD :)

Wonderful game with beautiful graphics. The backdrops are outstanding! I've always enjoyed the classic games of Mahjongg, and this is SO much better.
For anyone who's having problems accessing other modes, tiles, backdrops, etc.. - they're only available after playing in Quest mode. The further you get, the more options you have.

As it is, you are only showing the comment count for past games/apps. Displaying the comments on the day's post would say a lot about the popularity of the download of the day.

load of CRAP, don't waste your TIME!!!!

I am getting a video error when I try to run the game. Setting 6x video mode failed. I'm running a standard Windows XP Pro configuration on an HP 520 with a flat panel monitor...no weird config or anything.

I forgot to mention on comment #14 that I've tried downloading from both sites.

I'm having the same problem as #7 and #12. When I right-click and go to "explore", it says it's invalid or corrupted. If I choose "expand", it says that most likely the disk is full or it's write protected (and there's plenty of room for this on my computer.)

Well, I'm not even going to try to get this thing to run anymore. By the time I do it'll be over.

Nice waste of time though.

If the file is corrupted or invalid, try downloading it again or try the alternate link. Works for me. The game itself is top notch...one of the better Mahjongg titles I've seen and used. Trust me...you'll like this.

When I tried to open it, it says, " the compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted). What do I do now?

The start-up to the game had me aloof for just a little while but the game itself is top notch for this genre. It works great on my machine and I can tell already that I am gonna be hooked! The slick features to the game are unlocked for you once you have completed a level so do not be alarmed if you cannot get the game to work for you at the start.

Added note to 5 (Bob), who reacts to me (note 1). It's true, I found out: after playing one time the story mode, the classical mode (and the other) becomes unlocked. It's quite idiot, it only can this way, but now the game of this day is much better: the classical mode is for me the most attractive.

Trying hard to download but popup window says zip file corrupt. Cannot open.

Adrian try playing the story mode and you find the other modes become unlocked.

Overall a good game -fun and fast. Ideal for kill in few min at lunch time. I'm not so keen on the South-American tile set as it seems harder to tell the difference between them but generally fun.

Runs in demo mode only.

Even after running the included activate.exe, and a message that activation was competed, it's still the shareware version and NOT the full version. Meaning all options and play modes are not accessible.

And my negative rate doesn't register, so it stays at 0%.

When I'm starting it up, I can't reach the classical mode. After some form of help how the game works, it didn't do it again. Sorry, it's not my favorite MaHjongg game.
