Whiterabbit-uk, What was the solution to the "game's resources are corrupted" error? I'm getting this error too.

JB,
Hi JB, My first attempt when I got the error was because I removed a particular file from the installed game that I didn't think was necessary. Even when I put it back the error persisted, so I deleted the game and reinstalled. It then worked okay.

Not going to download because I have 2 of these that you mentioned already, WR. That should be enough - since I also have 3 from other developers - unless one in comes along in this same series with something special about it, story for example, or something unique added to the general game design. As you mentioned, WR, will take me awhile to get through those 2, unless I ignore all other games and activities and do a marathon on one or both of them. Also, this is one type of game that - unless you have a photographic memory - has an almost infinite level of replayability, especially if you only pull these out occasionally.
Wanted to post just to say thanks WR for doing the checking so you can point out these identical games for a developer, as you also do on the solitaire card games, so we're not necessarily filling up our game libraries with a lot of practically identical games. Not that I blame ToomKy for this. These are for the folks who don't have any yet, or what they would consider too many, of this type.
BTW, the BigFish main game page reviews on this game page break about even, though slightly less than half would recommend it. Sorry, but a little confused WR about what you said about the Steam reviews being mostly negative. Did you mean to link to another page? Your link took me to the main Steam page for the game, where there were only 5 reviews. The 1 in English was negative, there was 1 positive 1 sentence review in both English and Spanish, and the 3 fully non-English reviews were 2 for and only 1 against. But not that important.
In any case, another good, very conscientious review from you WR - as usual - and thanks anyway GGOTD, ToomKY, and the developer.
P.S.: the Steam specs say only XP 64 bit as the earliest compatible version, but I doubt it. The 2 I already have also worked on 32 bit XP. This 1 probably does also.

Yes I did mean to link to another page. I've probably missed off part of the url.

A great mahjong game given away today for free. I like how there are many configurable tile sets built into the program so you can choose which ones are to your liking as this can actually help you win better at this game.
Per the standard 8 Floor format, you work towards achieving goals in game and trying to get from one level to the next. I noticed that in order to configure the game I had to click at the top left of the screen to open a menu which contained the options.
About installing Giveaway games - if you are having issues with incomplete files or games not working at all, it's strongly suggested to copy the Setup.exe and Setup.gcd file first to the desktop.
While possible to run directly from the archive, Windows may not extract the files completely to the temp folder and while the installation may succeed you may find yourself with a glitchy game.
AVG and Avast are notorious for flagging the giveaways, especially on Saturday and Sundays due to the protection wrapper being used.

Good game, thank you

I don't have a game(s).exe file for this one. The icon calls MahjongRoyalTowers.exe and it works just fine for me. It does redirect me to the ToomkyGames site when I exit, but that's okay.
