Sorry folks! Saturday's I'm usually involved in other things, and sometimes don't get around to testing a game - if it's 1 I'm interested in - until late. And I dawdled far too much today! :( So this probably won't help, but, like the earlier Magic Griddlers, this DOES NOT REQUIRE A 64 BIT SYSTEM. So, folks with old 32 bit computers, if you even see this in time, can download. Though there's a trick to getting this to work. If you click on the Magic Griddlers 2 icon in it's folder, it will indeed give you the standard "not a valid 32 bit application" error. But, the icon only activates the actual program, (and the Toomky games function which causes it to open your browser to show their game page later), which is the icon marked "Game". If you instead click on the Game icon, it works normally. This was the same with the 1st Magic Griddlers game also. So, please don't feel as if the game is unplayable if you have an old machine.
A few quick observations. This has the most detailed help of the 3 we've gotten from 8 Floor games (also Griddlers Beach Season a few months ago) with an explanation of basic mechanics, tactics, and a slight section on strategy, plus the same 2 tutorial levels in Magic 1. One tutorial is for beginners which explains the mechanics of this particular game, and the basic rules/tactics necessary for correct solving, and 1 is for experienced players which just show the mechanics of this game - although all grid puzzle games follow the same solving rules, as they must for this type of logic puzzle to work - not all have the same exact mechanics, like slightly different effects of the mouse buttons. I checked both out, even though I'm an experienced player, so I could evaluate the approach for this game. Oddly, the tutorial for the experienced player stalled on me when it was attempting to show me the cancelling mouse action feature. When I canceled the column marking it asked me to do, which worked correctly, the screen flickered dark for a fraction of a second, and the tutorial didn't advance. Though it allowed me to exit to the main menu when I selected the "back" arrow. So, I have no idea of how much more there was, though I could compare with Magic 1, whose advanced tutorial worked correctly.
Also, this game was either adapted or ported to wide screen monitors, it's an old fashioned 4:3 ratio screen with decorative borders to take up the rest of the space. Horizontal letterboxing, to use the TV term. Though, when I turned off full screen, nothing happened. It was still full screen. No evidence of "windowing". Not usually a problem for me as I prefer fullscreen in most cases. BTW, if it helps, I'm using a 1280 x 762 resolution.
Thanks, GGOTD, Toomky, and moderator Whiterabbit.

Haven't seen this type of game in quite awhile here and I am really enjoying the ones we have been getting recently. Seems simple at first but they get more difficult the further into the game you get as the larger the fields get. Fun for most ages, though may be too difficult to grasp for the very young. They get you thinking which is always a good thing. If you are unaware how to play, the tutorial in the game is very good.
No issues downloading, installing or playing on Win10HomeX64.
Thank you to all involved with getting this offering to us.

Both this giveaway & the prior Griddlers install ok, but then get error message Game.exe has stopped working when I try to run it. Antivirus off, Win7Pro machine that has no prior issues with these types of games. Any ideas? Thanks!

Very happy to see this here today. I love these games. Makes you think a little as you get into the higher levels but no stress. When I get stuck writing, I open up one of these games. It soothes a little and gives my brain a little shake.
Thank you Toomky Games, GOTD, and White Rabbit.

Ever since the Griddlers series returned I am enjoying these games more and more. The fantasy themes and music keep me returning to play the games more and more.
Speaking of more, there are lots of achievements to earn in this game so you can reflect on the hard work you've accomplished so far. Its your own personal trophy room in a sense.
In fact I find these more enjoyable than the jigsaw puzzles that have been given away and so forth.
One thing that sets this apart from the other games given away is a very enjoyable, clear precise tutorial so you can get the most out of the game without feeling frustrated.
Overall I like Griddlers even more and more now hopefully we see more on the site.
