To all those who are getting hits by their AV software. There are two reasons for this:

The first one (as already mentioned many times previously) is because the giveaway is wrapped in a security wrapper that contains Themida code. This is often seen as a threat because Themida wrappers can also be used to hide malware. The giveaway team use it to protect the intellectual rights of the owners of the software because previouse to the use of this wrapper (about 3 years ago) some unscrupulous community members were able to find the executable which could then be used at any time without having to contact the giveaway server. This was then uploaded to peer to peer sites where it was more than likely downloaded thousands of times (and still is) by other peer to peer members. I think we lost some developers because of this practice. Some community members even posted You Tube videos (probably in the hope of getting lots of likes) and detailed instructions on other sites on how to find the unwrapped executable. That practice was basically stealing and could have impacted the developers income. If you get a hit by your AV software it is a false positive.

The second reason you may be getting a hit is because MyPlayCity (MPC) employ adware which forces your browser to open at the MyPlayCity home page when you shut the game down. This is so MPC can earn cash (everytime you visit their site they earn money, some of which is given to the developers of the games you are downloading). None of the games given away via MPC are technically free, all of them are still being sold via other distributors such as Big Fish Games and Gamehouse etc. Your anti-malware suite and or anti-adware programs are picking up this adware. The adware employed by MPC is actually quite innocuous and can be ignored. Nothing other than the game is being installed on your computer when you install the game via the giveaway executable.

Scuze the lack of moderation today. We were invited to dinner when I arrived back from archery. Only just got back home (11pm). I'll moderate as much as I can, but some may have to wait until tomorrow as I need to retire.
Magic Garden

In Brief

A colourful hidden object game, with mini games

1 - main menu
collect stars
Installation:
The game downloads as a 57.3 MB zip file that unpacks to a setup, setup.gcd (security wrapper) and read-me and installs to the following path by default unless you chose to install to a different path from the main installation. Those with multiple hard drives are able to save games on any drive they wish:

C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPlayCity.com\Magic Gardens

Four shortcuts are installed to the desktop. Three of which i.e. The links to MyPlayCity Games, Play Online Games l and Elvenar Online can all be safely deleted. The game uses 82.3MB of hard drive space not counting save data.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank MyPlayCity for giving Magic Gardens minus the check-boxes and also to the game giveaway team, as always, for providing a safe environment to download free games.

Suggestions/Useful Information:
If you like or don't like Magic Gardens please give some feedback detailing why you like or don't like the game; for example, how it could be improved from your point of view. If you don't like this genre at all, please explain why, especially if you give it a thumbs down. There are still thousands of subscribers to the game giveaway of the day every weekend which makes this an ideal forum for giving developers ideas as to what their consumers (i.e. you) would like to see in a game. For example, you could suggest extra content such as mini games, or a level editor that you would like to see or improved the graphics, change the menu system, add camera controls or some other aspect of the game that would make it more appealing to you.

If you miss today's game giveaway you can still get the game via MyPlayCity 24/7 HERE.

If today's game giveaway didn't interest you at all, there are usually other free alternatives available, for example at this time you can get still get Nox from Origin HERE, VR Training 1 HERE and Agent Awesome via Indie Gala HERE.
N.B...... You may be require to complete some tasks (Indie Gala), or create an account (Indie Gala and Origin) to get the free keys.

If you don't fancy any of those, check out the game discussion forums HERE where you'll find details of literally thousands of free games (both freeware and abandonware) throughout the 100 plus pages of posts, as well as links to various 'dirt' cheap indie bundles that cost as little as a dollar to five dollars for upwards of 6 to 10 games (or more), some of which would usually cost upwards of $100 or more if you purchaseed them directly from the developers or game distributors; for example, Indie Gala, Groupee's, Humble Bundle, Flying Bundle, Daily Indie Games (DIG), Indie Game Stand (IGS), Bundle Stars, Cubic Bundles and more. At this time there are at least 60 or more indie bundles available, most of which cost less than $5. There's also great deals in the Indie Gala and Humble Bundle Stores. Steam has 653 games on discounts ranging from 10% to 90% off HERE

The problems section that used to be posted here in the Game review is now included in the Game Discussion FAQ's thread; which you can find HERE.

I've updated the games section that used to be posted with the review. The thread is now called 'Weekly round up of game deals', formerly the games section of the weekly reviews. You can find the new thread (which I've posted in the sticky section of the game discussion forums to make it easier to find if you are perusing the game discussion forums) HERE.

I'd like to give a massive thank you to Whizzy or Mavadelo (his Steam name), who has created a review site for me. I am talking to him via Team Speak over the coming months while he tutors me in the in's and out's of the site. The site won't go live right away as I want to post lots of game reviews. It will be a combination of arcade and AAA game reviews, some old and some new, divided into appropriate genres. We intend to avoid any advertising, so the site should be safe to peruse without worrying about clicking on links that may send you to rogue sites or ad's. I will also try to post reviews of new releases. At least those that I purchase. We also intend to include a free games section as well as regular game giveaways, though they won't be the same as what we get here on the game giveaway site becasue the games will be coming from my own personal stock of spare game codes. Most will be Steam codes, but I also have hundreds of other codes for Itch.io, Origin, uPlay and others.

The review site isn't ready yet (I've not done anything for the past several weeks as I've been preoccupied with other things) but you can check it out HERE. Please feel free to leave comments in the forum section HERE. It's still in it's infancy, but hopefully over the coming moths it will start to look much more professional. If you have any suggestions as to what you'd like to see, please post them in the forum. As yet there is no forum topics, but there will be soon. You do need to register to post in the forums. I will announce when the site is fully functional as soon as we can get it ready.

I am confused about the comments that say there was no Facebook etc. I got a link to FB and followed through. the only thing I did not do was on the final screen after the download when there was a pop up saying "you are almost finished" after I installed an add on. I just backed out and assume that is why I cannot load the game to play, even though I got an activation screen. I am sure there are not supposed to be any add on's required for the games here. I do remember that the 3 games this happened on were all My Play City and each time, I backed off choosing to add on. Did I perhaps get a download directly from them which requires an add on, even though I got an activated screen from GGAOTD? Just frustrating to never have any problems except this one on MPC games and just since the new download through FB.

.....................................Moderator Comment..............................

Hi Barbara, when the link to Facebook appears, you have to click on it. That opens up Facebook. Instead of logging in, or if you are already logged in clicking on the Like button, you instead just close the Facebook window down. The download button will then turn green and allow you to download the giveaway wrapper.

The site is called give a way of the day... Why would I come here to download a trial?

.....................................Moderator Comment..............................

You have to download and install the game on the day it was active. The page remains until the next giveaway. The daily giveaways stopped back in april 2008 and since we've only received games at the weekend. The name has remained becasue the site has top ratings with all of the main search engines. If the owners changed the name they would lose that standing.

Yes Thank You for deleting my previous three comments from here because you did not agree with them. I will start to comment on facebook and twitter about this thanks again

.........................Moderator Comment.............................

Hi Mikei, your comments were not deleted by me. I found four comments several comments below this one by you. If you think the games inferior, why not explain why you think they are inferior? If we received decent feedback from the community developers my be inclined to give more and better games. Unfortunately hardly anyone ever bothers to comment appropriately.>

I always delete inappropriate comments from a community members post, but will always leave the post with any appropriate content plus I will always explain why the comment has been deleted. I have noticed that some community members who have been posting gash comments (for example something like abd or other combinations of letters). Those types of comment have been blacklisted by someone else. The only other people who have access to the admin panel are the owners of the site and those who work for them. If any comment by a community member has been blacklisted, any other comment by that member will also be blacklisted and will be invisible to the rest of the community apart from administrators/moderators. Your account has not been blacklisted and I have not been able to find any other comment by yourself.

The whole point of this comment section is to comment about the game. It can be positive or negative. Any other comments can be deleted if they do not concern the game. If you read the giveaway rules you will see that comment will be deleted if not appropriate to the game. Personally I have been extremely lax with respect to that ruling and have allowed other comments through, mainly because I believe it gives a more personable feel to site.

Well once again another game that downloads and installs but doesn't play. I have win10 home 64bit, I don't think I have gotten a game that actually worked from here in over a year! This site WAS great now it's just filled with someone's garbage. I did the shutting down of the antivirus and firewall still nothing! It only seems to be the a problem with the games , the programing is not an issue even the I pod \IPhone programs work.

1. I downloaded the game onto my desktop, Win10 64bit machine, and it installed just fine.
2. I downloaded the game onto my laptop, Win7 64 bit, and it would not install because of corrupted file
3. I copied the install files from my desktop to a flashdrive and over to my laptop...and it would not install because of corruption.

So, the fact that the game would install on one machine, but the same files would not install on another PC, implies to me that there's a problem with the install file.

I hope the game creators can use this information to fix their install.

.........................Moderator Comment.............................

Thank you for your feedback MAJ. The reason the game wouldn't install on one but would on another could be because of a conflict on the one it wouldn't install to. Check the FAQ's thread over in the game discussion forums for details of various fixes. If you are using different anti-malware suites on both computers it may also be the security software that has blocked the install. The corrupted message has often appeared for many giveaway community members; turning off security has often fixed that problem.

I'm revising my original opinion downward. This is a game that has potential but needs work.

--There are no instructions for the puzzles.
--Many of the hidden objects are just too hard to see. (This may be related to screen resolution or brightness, but I haven't had this problem before.)
--The zoom-and-pan feature is hard to navigate.
--Overall I found it to have a somewhat odd feel - hard to put my finger on - non-standard navigation and controls, perhaps.

Don't think I'll be playing this much. Overall it is more frustrating than fun. But thanks to MPC and GGOTD for the chance to try it out! And thanks as always to Whiterabbit for your efforts.

Win10 64bit Home. I took a chance downloading this as most games Win7 and below will not work. I am glad I did.

All in all a good game. Lots of different challenges. Some of the items to find were under the X and double arrow in the top right hand corner. The remembering game lost me. LOL Thank you.

.........................Moderator Comment.............................

Yes! the remembering game was quite hard. I managed it after a few failed starts, but only got one star for it. Thank you for your feedback Suzanne. :)

Nice HOG game with enough challenges in the timed mode. One thing I would prefer: a brief learning round. By accident I get stuck in the zoomed screen and no idea how to get back to normal screen.
Another thing: it is too easy to close the game. No prompts at all.

Thank you for offering this one for free. Have a nice week.

THANK YOU for a game with no Steam requirement, and a fun genre! Only played a little so far, but liking it & just thrilled after just about giving up on this site. I've recommended quite a few of the games I've gotten here (mostly of the adventure/hidden object type, which is my favorite). I do agree with some others that a few directions might be nice (for instance, I discovered the hint button, which I'm loathe to use, but it took three tries before I actually saw the sparkles :)) but I don't really mind having to stumble through a bit since that makes it more challenging!

For the user who couldn't advance past the first task, you need to click on another of the circles to go on; forgive me if that's obvious and you tried that.

Thanks again; I thought our long 'love affair' was over ;).

.........................Moderator Comment.............................

It wasn't obvious for me. I failed to complete the puzzle because of the circle. Thank you for your feedback. :)

Hi!

The game downloaded quickly and opened same. Unlike many of the games I don't see where it saves and
exited by mistake. Wondering since it does not take names. The graphics were not up to present day norms, though game moves along easily. After realizing how to start, it moved along easily with next. I would make the start clearer. The game was very easy and moved through about 4 levels very fast. Thank you for another good game!
Will check out link, White rabbit!
have a great week!

me too. it's installed and I get activation notice but it will not start. I tried starting as admin. and checked compatibility. this has happened to the last 2 my play city games they are on my pc and activated but that's it. bummer. I will not bother with mPC any more.

I would like to reply to my own comment. I tried once more to figure out why I could not start this game. I when to the folder in explorer and found the icon that sits on my desktop as a shortcut, including the tiny shield that is for administration. This is the short cut that I checked to install when I downloaded. It is also the one I clicked to attempt to start the game but never could. I also noticed a generic icon for the game so I clicked on that and lo and behold, the game started up. So I trashed the desktop icon, which did not work, and changed the game icon to the name of the game. I have been playing it off and on all day. It's a very neat game-thank you so much. I also opened the other MPC game folders and did the same for the other 2 that would not open. I will remember not to choose a shortcut and make my own for these games. so strange!

Thank you My Play City for the game and GOTD. My Play City, can you please consider giving Egyptoid 3 away on here one day. Another one of the great games you have given away is Slingshot. Thanks very much again, really do appreciate it when you offer the games and not that other "hoops and hurdles" crowd, STEAM.

.........................Moderator Comment.............................

Hi Hugh, hopefully we will see Egyptoid 3 (though I didn't know they had released a third one. Refgarding Steam. One of the advantages of having a Steam game over many of the other games we get here is that it is permanantely tied to your Steam account, so you are able to re install it at any time, any where on any computer. The hoops asked for don't cost anything and if you are one of those (like me), who doesn't use social media, then just create accounts for the purposes of getting these free games. Unfortunately those hoops will become more prevalent as time advances simply because using such socal media helps to spread the word about these giveaways, which also helps developers to earn cash, which in turn is usually reinvested in more games. I created a Twitter account specifically for these giveaways (I've never sent a Twitter in my life) and I use my sons old Facebook account which he stopped using a few years ago just for these giveaways. They haven't impacted my security at all and instead have given me access to loads of free games. Actually I did use the Facebook account just before I went away on vacaton to message a giveaway user that has become a friend.

Ok Win 10 x64 Pro. Wasn't sure this would be goodie given comments & concept BUT it's nice on Casual. In-game play part has a sound toggle (not front page) tho decent tune (slider would help or use kb). Couple side puzzles like Match 3.
Sharp photo images can make a few images tough but Hint helps & Causal mode just pops up fresh ones. Most easy to find. Give 8.5/10 for friendly brain food. Thanks GOTD & players. Also appreciate smooth access to d/l.

Once I've finished the first scene, the game doesn't advance. I can replay the first scene, but it doesn't move on to the next.

I thought maybe I had to replay the first scene until I'd accumulated the 13 points it wanted for the next thingy, but getting 3 stars on the first scene a second time still left me with a total of three stars, so it's not that.

I tried clicking on all kinds of things, and nothing advanced the game. I feel stupid, like I must be missing something really obvious, but ...

.........................Moderator Comment.............................

Hi Corylea, please excuse my late moderation, was invited out shortly after returning from my archery. When you say you've completed the first scene, does that include all of the tasks for that mission. for example, mission 1 has 5 different tasks with a total possibility of getting 15 stars. I've not had time to play the game yet so can't be certain, but, there is a marker on the bar next to the menu button (see the image in my review above), that has a marker indicating 6 stars. This may mean you need 6 stars to progress to the next mission?

Reply   |   Comment by Corylea  –  8 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+1)

When I say "the first scene," I mean that I've found all of the items in the first picture and gotten three stars for it, then there's no opportunity to do anything else. So, using the language you've used above, I have done the first TASK of the first mission and gotten three stars on it, but the game doesn't proceed to the second task of the first mission.

.........................Moderator Comment.............................

Hi again Corylea, have you clicked on each of the four circles that contain the shapes of stars in them? As I said, I've not had time to play the game yet due to commitments today. I played the third one which involved a panel of hidden items and you had to find three items that were shown underneath. You were given a few seconds to look at it then the cards were turned over. If you found them they would disappear and you'd then be show what was left, then you had to choose another three. Once you'd cleared 12 or 15 cards the task ended. I only got one star for it, but then had to leave for archery. I'll see if i can proceed further and let you know.

Edit:

I was able to continue by clicking on another of the circles, this time the first one, which showed a gazebo scene where you had to find objects listed under the Gazebo. As for progressing to the next mission, I think i'm right with respect to attaining the umber of Stars shown on the marker. once you've reach 6 stars you should be able to progress to the next mission.

p.s. I selected the timed mode.

Thanks for the game GGOTD.

Downloaded very quickly, but I had to disable AVG to install.

I've only tried the game for a little while and found my searching skills a bit too slow, so ran out of time on the very first scene - twice. Maybe there'll be a way of turning off the timer, but I can't find it.

Those getting hits by their anti malware suites, the giveaway contains a wrapper with Themida coding, which is often seen as a threat (becasue it can also hide malware). some AV software will mark it as unsafe, but I assure you the giveaways so far (after almost 10 year)s, have never been infected with malware. The giveaway team use several anti malware suites to ensure the software they are giving away is safe to download.

I'm with Biff. Downloading this was just like the old days. Simple. No aggravation. No Contest, No facebook crap and nothing to do with the new site I love to hate; steam. I'm still looking for the phone number so I can try to get my $25.00 bucks back. Anyone?
White Rabbit you made a lot of people happy today. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Everyone else...Maybe complaining does help. Just like Biff, I'm real careful now with giveaways. The minute it gets complicated I hit the comments and let them know it's not appreciated and they just lost another potential customer and spreader of goodwill for their products.
Thanks My Play city. Thanks again White Rabbit and thank you to those who leave comments.
Most Sincerely

Hi Skybase. Personally I don't understand the fuss over Steam. I have almost 8500 games in my Steqm account. The advantage of having a giveaway on Steam is that you will own it for as long as Steam survives, which, judging by the number of community members they have (over 70 million, I doubt their income steam will ever see them take a nose dive into obscurity. Personally I think since the advent of DRM, which I hate, but realize was necessary to stop unscrupulous gamers from stealing, Steam has become the number one platform for gamers. Not only can you get great deals, you have the ability to sort your games into a proper library, (for example, I have almost 400 categories in my Steam library, which helps me to find the game i want quickly, becasue I have memory problems I can't remeber the names of many of the games i have, but i know the actual games, so finding them is easy using the system i emply, which can only be done using steams client. on top of that theu have a great market. i made over £1400 selling trading cards, which i got free for playing the games i'd purchased. Then theres the social side. i've made some excellent friends using Steams client as they have a great social club. The Steam platform is not only for games, it's for gamers. Whgen I was forced to install Steam back in 2009 after purchasing two Steamwork games (I didn't know what Steamworks was back then) I was really annoyed and complained. Thery offered to give me my money back, but as i really wanted to play both games (Galactic bowling and Defense Grid: The Awakening) I let it go. I soon discovered the Steam store and within six months I found Steam to be the best thing to hit the gaming scene. That said, each to their own. If you don't like steam, that's your perogative. Unfortunately that will exclude you from some fantastic games, as it will if you don't install other clients such as uPlay and Origin. Each has some amazing games, but you can't play any of them without installing the clients for example The Assassins Creed franchise, The Battlefield Franchise, the newer Star wars games, Left 4 Dead franchise, Half Life franchise, Counter Strike, Titanfall, fifa, Total War franchise (apart from the early ones), Dragonage, Need for Speed franchise plus many more. Even some of the indie developers are becoming exculsively Steam or other client oriented.

Downloaded and installed without issue (Win7/64). My Play City downloads put webpage shortcuts on your desktop (3 this time), which can be deleted (there are no unwanted programs).

MPC generally offers good games with good graphics. This one has timed and casual modes, and the windowed mode is re-sizable, and I appreciate both features. The gameplay is different than other HOGs I've played. It's more difficult, for one thing. The objects can be very hard to find, very faint or blended with the background. One interesting and novel (to me) feature is the ability to zoom in and out, and shift your point of view by panning. In fact, some objects can only be found that way -- they are actually completely hidden until you zoom and pan the scene. I found panning with my laptop's mousepad to be awkward, and would recommend to the devs that the arrow keys be available for this also.

I've only played the first few levels, so we'll have to see how interested I stay in it. My first impression is that it's fun but kind of frustrating -- objects are hard to pick out (there was one I could barely find even with the hint); the zoom and pan, while an interesting concept, I found hard to use. If it weren't for casual mode, I think I'd pass on this one.

More dedicated HOG fans may find this just the kind of challenge they're wanting.

Thanks to MPC and GGOTD!

Magic Gardens:
The program is available for $9.99!
Wow what a super deal, for a super idiot!

How about just pull some wool over your eyes,
Then do you blind!

Better yet, How about just go to http://www.myplaycity.com
There you can download 100's of games for like $0.00!

The games you get from MPC are not technically free. MPC earn cash everytime you visit their site, which should be everyting you've played one of their games. Part of that cash is then given to the developer of the game you've played. There's no need to insult a developer who may just be starting out , besides, he's just given away thousands of copies and has also offered to send keys to those who had problems. The time alone will cost him dearly.

I wanted to thank you for giving away an actually game today. One that didn't require me to join Facebook, Twitter, Steam, etc. I'm not even sure why I checked the site today, I'd given up on getting any games here anymore some time ago. Now I'm glad I stopped by, I'll be back next weekend in the hopes this "new" trend of doing things the old way continues.

.........................Moderator Comment.............................

Unfortunately Biff, the old way doesn't earn developers much cash these days. Advertising on Facebook etc can earn them extra cash, as does giving the game to sites like MPC who pay developers part of the cash they earn when you visit their sites, which is every time you play a game you've downloaded from MPC (or one of the other sites such as TooMky Games, FreeGamePick and Gametop). I also hope we continue to get games the old way, but for me getting a steam key is actually better becasue once tied to your Steam account you can install the game any time you wish instead of only on the day of the giveaway. I've already spouted about Steam elsewhere on this comments page. i used to hate game clients as well, but realized it was the future of gaming, forced on us by gamers them s3lves for stealing property from developers instead of doing the right thing and paying for the games they were stealing. Yes, DRM was designed to stop the theft of games, and steam, Origin and uPlay as well as other gaming clients developed out of that. Steam is actually a fantastic client, with loads of facilities that enhance the gaming experience. If you'd have asked me that in 2008, I'd have had a totally different opinion as prioer to 2008 I'd only ever purchased a few diigtal based games. Most of my game collection, which back then numered about 300 hard disks was my pride and joy. now I have almost thousands of games, virtually all of which are digital downloads.

Msg: The Setup Files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program.
=> No install...

Please read my other replies regarding Themida wrappers. This is causing some anti-malware suites to block the game due to Themida being incorporated into the giveaway wrapper.

Goupil, I think it is your anti-verus program. It thinks this is a virus so it corrupts it. Could try to turn off just for an hour.

Every time I try to use the setups, it says the setup files are corrupted and to obtain a new copy. However, the next thing that pops up says that the product has been successfully activated.

.........................Moderator Comment.............................

Unfortunately the giveaway team were forced to utilize Themida code, which sometimes causes anti-malware suites to block the installation and throw up a corrupted message. The giveaway executable is wrapped in a Themida code, which is often seen as a threat due to it also being used to hide malware. The giveaway team were forced to utilize Themida because of unscrupulous community members ripping off the giveaway games by taking the main executable out of the original wrapper, which then enabled them to install the game any time anywhere without the need for activation.

I agree, yay, no Steam!!!!! I loved the type of games we used to get, so I am happy to try this one. Graphics are fairly good, but a little behind the times. Still, though I haven't played a lot, it seems to be a pretty decent hidden object game. I hope it will change as I go on, or I'm afraid boredom will hit pretty quickly. Complaints: no Options, sound is either off or on, and there are no instructions (at least that I have found) for the different games. I couldn't figure out what the different symbols meant on the one match three I played. Programming is a bit too simple. I haven't played much, so hopefully things will get clearer to me.

Admittedly, I should have read through more thoroughly but downloaded and deleted the game once it popped up with MyPlayCity. I know they are one of the few places that doesn't make you jump through hoops to get the games but I would rather follow a game on Steam, download it and keep the key forever than to put MPC games on my computer that takes full Admin control and leaves extra junk on my pc. Prior to deleting though, the 57.4 MB downloaded in 3 minutes so no traffic lag.

I'm really glad to see Whiterabbit is back! I mentioned in last Sunday's game they really don't pay you enough, if at all, for what you go through with folks on this site. I gave ideas on how they could get devs to give up more games and help it run more smoothly. When I went back on Tuesday to see if there was any response, it turns out they've made all of Sunday's stuff completely inaccessible as if there were no game at all. I took it upon myself to email BFG and Steam devs to tell them I think the GGOD is an awesome idea to get more comments and criticisms on games for developers and the best way they could go about it to stop the whining on here and give them more useful feedback. BFG said they are sending that to more appropriate channels and nothing out of Steam which is never a surprise. I don't know that it would help at all but I appreciate what you guys do.

Hi Keisha, thank you for your comment last week. I saw it just before I left the resort, then it disappeared. when I got home I was able to sign into my admin account and realized it had been deleted by someone, so I un-deleted it. I don't get paid anything by the giveaway team. I have been doing this voluntarily all these years, with hardly a thankyou from the owners. I don't mind as I still enjoy doing it. :) Also thank you for your feedback. it's always a pleasure to read.

Stephen, you're a saint for all you put up with on here. I couldn't do it. I've done website work, customer service, sleep technician... a pretty wide range of work and never have I seen people whine about something given to them for free like they do here. Instead of coming up with good ideas to help out they're just angry little people. :p

.....................................Moderator Comment..............................

Thank you for your comment Keisha, I appreciate that someone understands. I've tried for years now to explain that if the community posted useful feedback, be it positive or negative, about the game, instead of unrelated stuff, especially whining about FREE games, we would be getting much better games. We may even have returned to daily giveaways. This site still has the potential to become a magnet for game developers looking for feedback and ideas to improve their games, but after trying to explain to the community for years now the community (at least the majority) continue this self destructive attitude. Really, why would any developer give away literally thousands of copies of their games only to get a bunch of freeloaders complaining that it's not what they want, the mind really does boggle.....

I must admit, I've become a little jaded with most of the community. Thankfully, it's members like yourself that keeps me coming back.

Perfect, easy install (Win 7 x64). Frankly, this is my favorite kind of game. It has hidden pictures; hidden silhouettes; scrambled words; jigsaw puzzles, and more -- just relaxing, fun play. I had a bit of a learning curve in figuring out how to advance in the game, and also how to get hints, but it was a fast curve. Although there is a timed option, I always opt for untimed play, because I just play to relax. The artwork is beautiful! I'm finding no need to play full-screen, because the artwork's details are so sharp that it's not necessary. I can't comment on sounds or music, since I play in game silence (TV is on...) Anyway, this game giveaway is a solid winner, and I thank GGAOTD and MyPlayCity very much!

I just discovered that I can magnify portions of the screen with my mouse, and "move things out of the way," which gives a really neat 3D effect. I'll probably be discovering more things as I continue to play, but I won't keep commenting on them.

Panda antivirus detects a trojan and I cannot play. It's been a long time ago since I could play any of the free games. To bad, I used to promote these games but now I cannot do that any longer.

Hello Anna, try turning off your security temporarily. The giveaway wrapper incorporated Themida code to protect the games executable from unscrupulous community members. Themida is also used to hide malware, so your security is almost certainly blocking the installation. what you are getting is a false positive. The game giveaway team have always ensured the games being downloaded are free of malware. If you turn off your security temporarily, you'll find the game will install.
