In Brief:
Loveless Cat made with Gamemaker Studio, is another of those short competition games that was entered into the fourteenth Gamiron competition that is held in Russia. You can choose from English or Russian languages to play the game.

The game is a 2D side scrolling puzzle/action platformer, suitable for children aged 7 to adults. :) The graphic is cute, the control feels a little spongy when trying to manoeuvre onto objects that enable you to jump to usually unreachable platforms. Push boxes to enable you to reach those platforms.

Vasily meets Mila online via a dating site, where they agree to meet up. The text appears to have been translated using an app such as Google Translate as some of the text is incorrect, or the wrong words used for example Vasily says he needs to find a gift and not go with empty legs instead of hands. Most of the text however is easily understood.

Avoid touching other creatures as you'll lose some of your health, friendly creatures are left stunned. As you progress, you'll see arrows that indicate a new stage has been reached. These often include a story board slide before returning to the game. At one point you are introduced to the shop where you can spend the gold coins you've earned. Your first purchase will be woolly hats for both Vasily and Misa. At one point you are asked to destroy three guns. Dogs are introduced preceding the guns; that, if not avoided will kill your character. When you die, you start from last checkpoint.

This is where the game ended for me because I couldn't figure out how to destroy the guns. You cannot proceed to the next stage until all three guns are destroyed.

Unfortunately, there are no options to use a game controller.

Conclusion:
The game is playable, but some parts of the game such as the information panel and the return symbol are still in Russian despite choosing English to play the game. I found jumping onto the small crates were hit and miss sometimes due to Vasily appearing to float a little before stopping. Also, sometimes when on a crate, I wasn't able to jump, so had to dismount and try again. This usually fixed the issue.

Overall, the story seems a little nonsensical. The language issues don't help matters either. However, the game is playable; at least until you get to the guns. If anyone figures out how to destroy the guns, please post details below. (It's almost 4am here in the UK and I can't think straight at the moment; plus, just had some root canal treatment done just over 12 hours ago, which has left the left side of my head like it's been smashed with a cricket bat/baseball bat.
