Introduction

The apocalypse came and a huge number of zombies invaded the planet. Help the main character protect himself and his refuge from the attacking bloodthirsty monsters. The game is a 2D platformer with a side view of the game. The main task of the game is to protect the checkpoint from bloodthirsty zombies and prevent them from breaking inside, because there are people in the building, and the walking dead are eager to taste their brains. Destroying the wave of enemies after the wave, we collect the fallen coins, on which we can buy improved weapons and supplies for them, as well as we can upgrade the structure. The game features 4 types of weapons, old school game play and pixel art graphics

The Game

Live Checkpoint is a simple defend your base game, where waves of enemies attack you from both sides. Each enemy killed drops coins, which you have to collect by walking over them. At some point you will need to buy more ammo and as you progress you can upgrade your weapons. This is done by clicking on the boxes along the bottom of the game arena.

There are no Steam community reviews of this game which was released on the 31st Dec 2019, however all four Steam curators that I've subscribed to have reviewed this game and recommended it . You can see what they have to say about the game HERE. The version we get is a Falcoware version and not a Steam version.

Conclusion

I found the game play was okay in short sessions. Playing longer than several minutes the game became a little tedious as there was little change to the local environment and the monsters were not very varied. Still, I would recommend downloading this as a coffee break game. It's definitely playable.
