Game update: this was on a windows 7 PC - PC is a HP Pavilion built in 2009. After about 5-10 minutes of play the screen went kind of funky. Shutting down the PC cleared the issue - A virus check was performed - No virus found (AVG)
Symptoms: Strange characters garbled the screen
Game uninstalled just to be safe

Server Time: 12:35AM, - 2.5 Hours Left.
Downloaded twice, different mirror each time.
Started setup, activating, connecting to game.giveawayoftheday.
Fatal error: key is invalid.
Have to delete both downloads.
End of story.
Obviously requires someone to sort things out on the server end for the downloads.

Try downloading the demo from the developers site (see info panel at the top of the page), then using the registration code provided.

Downloaded and installed fine on Windows 7. No issues with registration code.
Cute game, but gets boring kind if fast. As the review said, the sound effects do get a little monotonous.

It registered fine for me. Have you made sure you're not copyin and spaces when you copy the registration code? If you still can't get it to work I would delete the installation and redownload another copy.

I wish we had the suggestion thing on game.giveaway too. In case the developer will see this, I'd like to suggest you fix they installer so it opens the webpage up in the _default_ browser, not IE. Especially since IE is continuing to lose ground, last I heard it dropped below 50% market-share. Given that, it's becoming just sloppy and rude to not use the default browser.

I hate games that "phone home" every time I play or finish playing! This one will open a browser and contact its home website and will not let the browser close until it finishes transmitting all the information it wants to. I consider this spyware. I uninstalled. I advise users to play this game with your firewall on full block mode so this program won't be able to call home and transmit data.
...........................Moderator comment............................
That's really strange becasue my version doesn't phone home. when I close the game down there is npo outbound traffic from my computer. I'd check your computer as it appears to have been infected with something on the lines of a trojan. The game giveaways are tested rigorously and no malware of any kind gets through.

30 min of pay time. ripoff.

Hi Jim, Today,s game is one of the rare exceptions where we get a registration code. If you'd read the first few paragraphs of my review you'd have read as much. Just open the read me that unpacks with the set up file.

I found a site that has it for free:

I checked this site out and it looks like a genuine site. there's a whole pile of games available. That said do read the EULA before allowing the game to be downloaded. there appears to be some marketing rubbish installed if you're not careful.

Extra note - I just noticed this. It's related to the age of the game. If you are running Vista (and possibly 7), DO NOT let it default for the install folder. The default folder is "C:\Program Files\Lills".
It keeps it's "profile" and "player" information in a "Profiles" folder under the Lills folder. That means the program must have write access to that folder. If you are running Vista, you must have "admin authority" to write to a file within Program Files. Therefore, you must run the game in admin mode if you let the install go to the default location under Vista.
I don't know if they fixed this general headache in Windows 7 but it is a potential problem.
It should work fine, just have an extra "OK" to start the game.

This is an older game. I noticed the requirements are as low as Win98 and DirectX 7.
I had no problem installing and starting the game. I did play one level. It's a silly but rather relaxing way to waste a little time.
As is normal for me - I turned OFF the music and only heard a giggle when the little Lill had a message. I also put games in Windowed mode if possible and feasible. Some HOGs stay full screen because the window is too small.
I'm running Vista32 Ultimate SP2. No problems!

The game installs and runs well on my XP sp3 machine. I played through level 3-2 and I found the game somewhat boring. It's almost mindless clicking where you just keep moving blocks around. There seems to be little challenge to it. I didn't find the sounds objectionable as Whiterabbit mentioned that some might. They were just electronic 'bips' and 'bops' to me. The girlish giggle can get to you after a while though.
I like match 3 games and this one is OK but not impressive. It is something I can play for a while but not sure how long.

thanks for the game.I have played a couple of levels and am hoping that the game gets a lot more challenging that it is so far. If not guess it will be a simple game for the small grand-kids to play.

ehm i can't play there is no cursor.... using windows vista 32 mbit
.............................Moderator comment.............................
Try switching to windowed mode. Because you can't see your cursor this may be a little difficult, but not impossible. :0
Also you could try updating your graphics drivers and Direct x files.

The game:
This is a cute-ish match three with anime styl intro' graphics. The game play is the same as your standard 'match three' game where you create groups of three or more blocks to remove them. As you remove blocks you collect magic powder that gathers to the right of the playing field. This is the spells resistance meter. The witches spells show as pink/violet and spells resistance as green. When the green part of the indicator grows you gain the advantage, and conversely when your green indicator shrinks the black witch gets stronger. You win when all of the black witches indicator is removed from the meter. The longer you take to complete the level the more the black witch grows in strength (that is, the violet/pink indicator grows bigger). The faster you remove blocks the more magic powder you will gain and therefore the faster your green indicator will grow and swamp the black witches indicator.
The spell force has x2, x3, x4, and x10 multipliers. The higher the multiplier, the faster the green indicator fills. If you create matches of four or more you are awarded a spell shield which decreases the advantage of the black witches spells (that is the violet/pink indicator shrinks). You start with three lives and can earn an extra life when your score reaches half a million points. Apart from the spell shield and life power ups there are three more called The Bubble which is awarded when you reach x10 multiplier. It instantly removes twelve blocks randomly from the playing arena . The points that you earn from the removal of these blocks is multiplied by three. The Whirl wind is rewarded for creating a certain number of four or more chains. The Whirl wind removes nine blocks from the arena and any points that are created as a result of these blocks being removed are also multiplied by three. Finally, the Slow spell which as you’d guess slows down time for five seconds. In this time your spell force grows faster (the green indicator) wheras the black witches violet/pink force slows down. To earn the Slow spell you need to earn quarter of a million points
At the end of each level you get a stats window that tells you your score, a breakdown of how you scored in that level and a comparison with the top scorer in that level. You can set up multiple profiles; If a family member or friend has scored better you will see the time they completed the level in below your own time. If you manage to beat the best score you’ll be congratulated an replace their name in the high score portion of the stats window. In the options menu you can adjust sounds and music as well as toggle full screen to windowed mode as well as toggle help. This is on by default and will bring up small info' boxes whenever something new is introduced. When starting the game be careful not to click on start if you've already got a game in progress otherwise it will overwrite it and you'll have to start again. :( There's a level progress map (see link to slideshow below and the first image above) which shows the number of levels, which is 100. It looks like theres some changes made every 25th level (i.e. at level 25, 50 and 75), but I can't conform this as I've not played so many levels yet.
Controls::
Mouse controls the movement of pieces
Esc – pause - also brings up options menu

- Windows 98/ME/XP/Vista
- Pentium III processor
- 256 Mb RAM
- 50 Mb hard drive space
- 32 Mb video memory
- Sound card
- DirectX 7
Conclusion:
There’s nothing special about the game IMO, with only a few bonuses I personally would get bored very quickly with this game, but it does have some appeal. I did find the music a little annoying after a while. Some may find the background sounds inappropriate as well because you get belches and farts interspersed with standard gaming music There’s also an annoying cutesy giggle that starts whenever you hear any of the above noises.
I’d suggest to the developer that they add more bonuses and reduce the amount of points you require to gain a new life or at least add another life award at around a quarter of a million. On average I scored just over five thousand points for each level I completed. Without scoring multipliers it would take 100 levels to gain a new life. I doubt I’d be playing the game for so long unless it was improved.
Overall I'd say it was a game worth downloading, but it’s not one of the top end match three’s in my opinion; partly because there’s few extras included in the game, it’s just a basic match three with crisp graphics. I’d give it a 6 out of 10, but only because I like match three games and it’s not already free from the usual free sites.
