Legacy Of The Black Tower:

In Brief:
Legacy Of The Black Tower, created using the Unity engine is an arena like game where you wander around a wooded environment surrounded by insurmountable hills, though you can venture into parts of those hills in places. The aim of the game is to destroy the Black Tower. There are monsters that will try to stop you. Use your magical staff to dispatch these. Pick up health potions to recover lost health and blue (gives 10 charges) and orange (gives five charges) crystals to recharge your staff with more potent spells. There's a default spell that is unlimited, but it's quite weak compared to the limited spells. . You have to pick up 12 keys to complete the quest. The graphic is okay and game play is reasonable; at least in short bursts. There's little else to do apart from destroy those monsters and pick up the keys. Once you've collected the 12 keys the black tower is destroyed and after a victory screen appears for about 30 seconds you are returned to the main menu where you can restart the quest all over again.

The initial menu screen has three buttons, New Game, Change Graphic Quality and Quit Game. You can change the resolution and the quality of the graphic, but I found little difference between the six buttons (Fastest, Fast, Simple, Good, Beautiful & Fantastic)

Conclusion:
I was pleasantly surprised when I first booted up the game, but soon got bored as there is little variation in this short single level action game. My security scan showed no issues from 63 different antimalware providers. It's only a 150MB download and once installed 244MB so check it out and see what you think. As with many of the games we get via Falcoware, it's more a coffee break game than something I'd spend a great deal of time playing.

I did have a recurring issue where the game would freeze and I'd have to open the task manager to close the game. Behind the game was a small window (see the last image) that said ''Couldn't switch to required monitor resolution'' and each time this happened I had to start from the beginning as there is no save progress enabled in this game. With that in mind i I decided to delete the game. This doesn't necessarily mean the game will crash for you, so please do check it out first. Let me know if yours crashed as well..
