LawnMower is an arcade game. It is not a typical arcade game as it is quite slow and therefore less likely to test your reaction skills. Instead, it checks your ability to maneuver over a patch of grass. The goal of the game is to cut the grass nice and short, at the same time catching bonus points and earning cans of fuel for your lawn mower. As you cut the grass slowly and solemnly, bonus items fly by. You bump into them in order to get the points. Try to keep the balance between rushing about to get more points and saving fuel for cutting the grass.

I can't believe I downloaded this game! You just sit there and cut grass until the entire field is cut. One or two coins or gas cans but thats all you run over. They should have upgrades for your lawnmower at least.I got bored of it after the first few levels and haven't played it since.

The graphics are a little blocky. You have to use your keyboard to play and start the game witch gets annoying. I give it a 3

I love the idea. The controls might need some improvement though, and it is true, sometimes the game flashes and my computer is also new. But I really love the idea so I do play it (till the flashing and poor controls make me lose, I think I've reached level 3). Thank you though for the fun :)

This game earns a What the hell were they thinking??? It sounded funny so I downloaded it, and it is downright DREADFUL! The controls are VERY awkward and the game kept flashing (and trust me it isn't my computer. It's "new." ...err... a year old. But still newish)

Don't even bother with this one.

Well i downloaded this game and registered it (thanks to #10) for the easy instructions, but...... for some reason the game pops up in full screen mode (which is ok), but it immediately goes back to the desk top(wallpaper), in other words i cannot get the game to even began lol. oh well at least i have it downloaded, and can figure it out later. Thanks again GGOTD!

This is a pleasant surprise, this is my first time commenting, but I am compelled to. Amen to #29, variety is the spice of life, the same game with different skins over and over just doesn't appeal to me. The game isn't that fun but at least it's something new! Which is why I'm giving this a thumbs up

This is quite an unusual game, that is harder than it seems. I think I will search out my old joystick as recommended above by BillW50...Thanks for the tip :D. My daughter loves this one. Thank you very much Terminal Studios and the GGAotD team for another game :D

The good news is that this game has nothing to do with any Boulder Dash or Arkanoid clones. The bad thing is that it's a little corny to play... Weird controlling of the lawnmower, but it was worth the try. Nice one, GGAOTD!

I just extracted the .ini file to the directory. Note that there already exists an .ini file from setup, and you will have to overwrite it.

Cute looking game, but I cannot get it to stay active for more than a few seconds at a time--keeps dropping me back to my desk top.

Well, I don't believe in mowing (real) grass in the first place--and my cats concur (though my City never seems to!) (Take a look at 'weed laws' on the EPA site for a legal look at the situation.)

Mowing lawns first became popular with the invention of the power mower--it is designed to make it look like you own sheep.... I recommend getting sheep if you like the look.

Before power mowers, none but the truly rich (and we know how wired THEY can get!) mowed more than the area adjacent to their buildings.

I'm not insanely rich, and I don't have hours of 'free' time to spend making my yard look like everyone else's idea of 'pretty.'

The game can let those of you who actually like cutting grass to do so without ruining my weekend sleep-in. And without wasting energy.

I'll have to fiddle with it to see why it doesn't like to run on my machine (maybe it knows I hate mowing?)

My little grandson is obsessed with mowing the lawn. Mine gets mowed about every day in the summer time. So this is a great game for him in the middle of winter when we have 2 feet of snow. I found it hard to get the mower where I wanted it to go. Should have had an option for mouse control.

This game is great.

A was a user of demo and I didn't wanted to buy the full copy of the game and when I checked this site now I found this game full.

The game is great if you are bored,you get points and you can
really enjoy this game!

I recommend it to everyone,the youngers and the older ones.

Well, we will see how this game turns out. At this point I'm a little skeptical, but I'll try anything. The mower.ini file would not copy for me either, but when I entered info that # 10 gave, it worked just fine. Thanks GGAOTD! This is a great site.

This game did not automatically register for me either. However, I found that if you go to the registration screen and put www.terminalstudio.com as the user name with LM-4749-6268-6650 as the code, it will be registered as soon as you put ok.

Gosh I hate mowing the lawn, but maybe in a game I won't run over the same stump 17 times in 1 hour... Or maybe I will run over it more... I think that I will have fun wih this even if it turns out to be junk, lol.

Humorware? Weirdware? Definitely in the category of "Weirdest Games".

Installed OK and registration is easy. Just copy or move the Mower.ini file over to the game's folder after install. When it asks if you want to overwrite Mower.ini click YES. If you click NO then the original Mower.ini file that's already there after running setup.exe will stay there, that one is the unregistered .ini file. The one that comes in the zip file along with setup.exe and readme.txt is the registered .ini file, so be sure to click YES to overwrite. Otherwise you will get the trial version.

Supports keyboard or joystick, like racing games the controls are futzy with a keyboard until you get used to how the lawn mower moves. You can only move in two directions, left or right turns. The 'up' arrow accelerates and the 'down' arrow does nothing, you can't back up. Not sure if "slow" or "relaxing" are the right descriptives. Applies to the first level but the second level indtroduces a moving pumpkin that steals all your fuel, and the level directions tell you to run from the pumpkin. It goes on from there.

If this was meant to be humorware then guess it's thumbs up. If they were at all serious, and they must be somewhat serious since it normally comes with a price tag, then it's thumbs down. Humorware is usually freeware. To each his/her own I guess, but this one's too weird for me.

One good potential is if you have someone in your house who is supposed to mow the lawn and never does it, then put this one on their computer while it's still free here. :)

not very good. Game is ok, the installation remains a 15 day trial. Copying the ini file to the game folder is not working. I tried three times. Not happy with that. So this one is a uninstall.
