The story of Maxim Karasev, who, upon turning 18, decides to leave his parents' home and rent an apartment. However, he has no idea that his new residence holds dark secrets. On his way to the store, Maxim runs into his former classmate Tolik, with whom he had strained relations back in school. Tolik demands money, claiming that Maxim now has to pay for living in his neighborhood. Soon after their encounter, strange and mystical events begin to unfold in the apartment, forcing Maxim to confront his past and unravel the mysteries of his new home.

Once again, after downloading today's game giveaway, after unpacking, the usual .GCD file is missing, and my Windows 11 system flags the setup.exe as unsafe due to it containing "PUP.Optional.FalcoWare." Is this something peculiar with the game's source or is this beginning a trend in GOTD's software?

Jerry Guinn,
GCD file is present only in weekend games, the daily games go without it.
PUP is not a virus, it goes for Potentially Unwonted Program and such programs are
chosen by each antivirus on their own.
We check all offers before those go online.

GOTD team, MalwareBytes also flags it as "PUP.FalcoWare." which is only because of the connection it makes back to "FalcoWare" each time one plays the game.
People need to be aware that's only a warning..maybe unintended connections that with other programs you need to be wary of, but with Falco's game system it normally takes you to a "Other games you might enjoy" website, pretty harmless actually. If not an annoyance to some.
Work in that area, and just wanted to give everyone a heads up about it.
