A Steam version of Kenbo was released on the 21st June. There are no community reviews yet and it isn't in the Steam summer sale, which ends today, the 9th July at 6pm UK time, 1pm Eastern time. It costs £1.99 to buy, but we get it for free today (and yesterday).

Kenbo is a old school retro 2D side scrolling bullet shooter based during the cold war. You have to survive increasing numbers of enemies coming at you in waves. Initially you only have a pistol, but as you progress grenades and an automatic machine gun become available (you'll need them after the first few waves). The bigger guys are harder to take down; and, watch out for the flying bombs. Shoot them down before they get near you. . Pick up grenades from ammo boxes and regenerate lost health by shooting the health chests. The game is presented in a retro pixelated style that looks okay and the game although challenging is ideal for the odd coffee break moments you take during the day, or if you need a break from you latest AAA acquisitions.

He suspects his mission is a hoax until a mysterious young woman saves him from a strange and deadly phenomenon...), and The Escapist 2, (a top down 2D sandbox game. Craft, Steal, Brawl and Escape! It’s time to bust out of the toughest prisons in the world as you return to the life of an inmate in The Escapists 2, now with multiplayer!). Finally, the legendary Steam Summer Sale started on the 25th June as mentioned above, ends today at 6pm UK time 1pm Eastern time. 9th July.
