Installation:

The installation is via the Steam client. If you are not familiar with activating a Steam game, go to the top menu and select Games. From the drop-down menu select 'Activate a Product on Steam'. The game will then be available to install on any computer you install the Steam client on and sign in using your Steam account. If you're new to Steam, you can download the Steam client HERE and create a Steam account HERE. Once the key has been added to your account it will be permanently tied to that account and cannot be changed.
If you've previously won a Steam key for any limited giveaway and still not received your key, please contact the giveaway team via the contact form HERE. Please include details of the name and the email you used when you entered the competition, plus a screenshot of your name in the winners list would be useful to confirm your win, thank you.
Assuming you win a Steam key for Joumee The Hedgehog once you've found it (should be sent to the email you used to enter the giveaway - it must be the email you first used to sign into the game giveaway site. If you’ve used a throwaway email there may be problems getting a key, because the key may be sent to that email. If you have any problems, use the contact form. You must activate the game via your Steam client. Once activated it will be permanently tied to your Steam profile and you'll be able to install the game at anytime, anywhere on any computer, so long as you can validate who you are (usually via emails etc.). If you don't have a Steam account, you will first have to download and install the Steam client HERE
Then create a Steam profile/account. Once that has been completed you can input the Steam code that you've received (after completing the form filling) via the game button along the top of the Steam client, (located between friends and Help). From the drop-down menu select 'Activate a product on Steam'. This opens a product activation window. Just follow the prompts to complete activation. Once the Steam code has been accepted, the game will be associated with your Steam account and can be installed any time you wish
If you have a problem installing or activating or getting Joumee The Hedgehog to work, please visit the problems section over in the Game Discussion forums, which I've now incorporated into the FAQ's thread, and which you can find HERE or check the Steam forums or contact Steam support.

Other Reviews and Videos of Joumee The Hedgehog :

You can see Steam community comments HERE, sadly, most are negative, partly due to the fact that there is just one endless level.
To get a taste for the game you can see a few in-game videos of game play HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE (русский) and HERE.
Problems getting the game to work:
If you're having problems installing or activating or getting Joumee The Hedgehog to work please visit the FAQ's Thread HERE and read through the communities comments because sometimes fixes have already been posted, for example, a common issue seen since the Themida wrapper was introduced three years ago is that some community members installation of the game are blocked by their security because Themida code has been known to hide malware, (usually an error message is flagged for example 'The executable is corrupted' even though in reality it is not); so as a precaution some anti malware programs will block and even delete the suspect installation files even though the files (i.e. the setup, read me and setup.gcd files are actually totally free from malware. This issue can be solved either by rebooting your computer in safe mode with networking or a quicker method is to temporarily turn off your security software to allow the installation. You could also try white-listing the setup.gcd file. In the almost 12 years this game giveaway site has been operating there has 'never' been a game given away that was infected with malware.

Hi, Contact the giveaway team using the contact form that I usually post in my reviews HERE, explaining the issue you are experiencing, and include the name you use and the email contact and if possible a screen capture of the completed activities.
I applied for a key and got it right away.
Have you ever signed into the site or used a different email when applying for one of these giveaways using a different email? The giveaway team added security to stop community members applying for more than one key because the first time Steam keys were given away it became apparent that some community members were applying for multiple keys, then selling them on Steam keys sales sites. If you've used a different email previously, the key may have been sent to that email. If that email was a bogus email, then you wont get a key unless you explain this to the giveaway team.
I tried to see the two images via the links you provided, but my provider blocked the links??????, so I wasn't able to see them.

Whiterabbit-uk, Hi, the two captures are fonctionnaly I clic on the links and they appears. Well, I don't know what was the prob to get the case active ... I delete all suscribtions and closed the counts created for this. I don't care now ... negative things happened in private and this is just a game... not important...
bye

rygastan,

Hi sorry to hear things are negative in your private life. I hope you resolve everything sooner than later and things then become positive.
Did you contact the giveaway team via the link I posted for you? They are very good at sorting out issues. I am just a volunteer community member and don't have access to codes that I could send you. you have to contact the giveaway team directly. They don't usually respond to requests for keys via thesis comments section. It's moderated by me.
The giveaway is now over, but, if you show that you completed all the tasks then they should send you a key (I'm assuming the two links you posted are showing the completed tasks) . As I said, I cannot see those images (the first image I've posted below shows the url I added to the address bar and the second shows what comes up when I press enter. When I copy both of the links over to my browser (I tried three different browsers i.e. Chrome, Waterfox and IE) and get the same message from my provider saying that the site has been blocked because the site is listed as having inappropriate content such as pornography, hate, crime, drugs, violence etc.

So much bother for a game that sounds like almost no one is going to like/keep. Personally, I "pass" on ALL Steam offers, as they are conditional on a person joining. I am not interested in jumping thru hoops: if a co. wants to GIVE something away, it should be as easy as clicking a download. :::poo emoji on Steam:::

DianaAspenHill, Hi Diane,

Go make a cup of tea or coffee before reading
:)

Ten years ago I would have said the same about Steam or any other game client for that matter; I avoided them like the plague, thinking they were invasive, annoying, not necessary and down right cheeky. . Back then it was relatively easy to avoid them as most games did not require a game client. It seemed to me at the time that only online digital purchases were at risk of being bound to a game client. I saw them as invasive, and greedy as I also felt they were trying to force me to buy other games because there were constant adverts shown, (okay, force may be a little strong).

All of the games I purchased were on disk so I didn't need a client; however, after my accident in 2005 I was basically house bound, so I started to purchase games online. By 2000 all of the game shops in reasonable traveling distance from my home had either closed down or sold mainly console and hand held game consoles like the Nintendo Game boy, and rarely stocked any PC games of note. While perusing the indie game section of the online game distributor Direct to Drive (January 2009), two games caught my eye (Galactic Bowling and Defense Grid: The Awakening {a TD game}). At the time I loved bowling games, so really wanted Galactic Bowling and I'd been watching the development of the Tower Defense game. So, I purchased both of them, not realizing they were Steam-work games. At the time I didn't even know what that meant until I tried to install them. I was told I needed to create a Steam account and install the Steam client. I was furious, but because I really wanted both games I ended up installing it. Defense Grid is still one of my favorite Tower Defense games almost 10 years on. A couple of weeks into buying those games I reset my Steam display options and happened to glance at the Steam store; up to this point I'd ignored the store as I wasn't interested in buying any other Steam games, but a bundle of six indie games caught my eye. They were on what I discovered was a regular weekly sale. Of the six games five of them I'd actually seen and though about buying previously; to my astonishment, the total cost of all six games was actually less than the usual price of just one of them, so I snapped up the six games and have not looked back since.
That isn't the only advantage of the Steam client. Their sales are legendary, but on top of that the Steam client has so many other 'useful' features such as a great community area were you can interact with other peoplve with similar interests, join as many clubs as you wish (there are thousands of then to choose from, covering virtually everything, plus a workshop area where you can at the click of a button install or uninstall mods that have been made for many of the games that are available. Some games; for example, ArmA 3 has thousands of community made missions, new vehicles to drive, weapons to use and skins to make you look different etc. You can toggle auto updates; so, any game you have will automatically update if any patches have been released, or extra content given. They also have a community market where you can sell items that you've received for free. Many of the games drop trading cards, which when you complete a set you get other saleable items plus discount vouchers for various games. In one year I made over £1400 just by selling the cards I'd received for free.
The library feature is very useful, especially if like me you have thousands of games on Steam (I stopped buying them last Aug 2017 when i realized I was addicted to collecting instead of playing them). At the time I had over 11,500 games, but of those at least 2000 had zero hours of game play, some of the games I'd purchased a few years previously and now were selling at a much lower price than what I'd paid; which is crazy and such a waste of money. Anyway, the library has a very useful feature that enables you to create categories, so that you can sort your games out just like a real library. Due to the accident that I mentioned earlier, I have memory problems (due to a brain injury), and often forget the names of games that I want to play. I still have a very good memory of the actual game play, but not the name, so I've created over 400 categories to help me fined the games I'm looking for. There's so much more included with the client. Even a family view, so that you can view , or you can share your games with other friends and family. Though they can only play them when you are not using the client. If you buy the Steam link you can even play your games streamed via your home network from your computer to your TV in your lounge/living room, though you require the Steam controller (similar to an X-Box controller) to do that. You don't have to be in the same place to use the share option either. You can allow fup to five friends from all over the world to access your games library, but not your account details or the rest of your computer. There's also a great community area where games are discussed; with that you can find out what the community think about a game before buying it to see how negative or positive the community see's the game, or you can Stream your game play to friends, or allow them to see you playing games via a steaming service. I could go on, but I don't want to sound too enthusiastic, I'll just finish by saying there are also loads of free games available directly from the Steam client (well over a thousand of them).
p.s. all that said, I appreciate not everyone is enamored of Steam or the other big name clients such as uPlay (Ubisoft), Epic (Unreal engine), Origin (EA games. Even sites like Good Old Games now have a game client, though a this time that is still optional. These clients, were instigated partly to try and protect PC games due a large proportion of the PC community copying and passing on those games to others for free, apparently developers and distributors were losing millions to hackers, plus after the financial crisis of 2008, profits from games also crashed, for example arcade games reduced in price from almost $20 each to between $4 to $6. This led to many small time developers going out of business. Even some of the big name developers such as 2K games (Bioshock franchise) and THQ (Red Faction franchise, Warhammer franchise, Company of heroes franchise to name a few of the more prominent titles), were filing for bankruptcy and forced to sell their assets off..

Is there a page where I can check if my steam account is connected properly?

Is there a chance to check my GOTD account if my steam is connected properly?

Contact the giveaway team explaining the problem you are having. If you can take a screen capture and upload that to a file sharing or image sharing site include that in the message. I've linked to the contact form in the review ~(comment number 1) alternatively, if you look at the bottom of the gamegiveaways home page you'll see a contact link.

@whiterabbit, I was intrigued by you saying "For a limited time you can get Full Throttle Remastered from GOG HERE" because I thought you meant "for free" but it seems to cost about £10!
Still a good price for the game, I presume I just misunderstood you …

..................................Moderator comment.....................................

Hi Cad, no, I definitely meant free. It was free two days ago. It must have timed out. I didn't think to check the original source (Shareware on Sale). Just checked and both games have been removed. If you wanted The Hobbit, I did get a key for my back up Steam account, but, if you want it just say yes and I'll email it to the email address you use to post comment as I also have a copy on my main account (which i purchased about 4 years ago). The Humble site does have another game for free at the moment called Caffeine, which you can find HERE

Wabbit,

Caffeine is a software program.

"Caffeine is a social broadcasting platform for gaming, entertainment, and the creative arts. Built from scratch, it's simple, powerful, and fun to use. In other words, we did all the hard work for you! All you have to do is play your game and have real conversations with your friends and fans."

Ah, I just realized that just a few moments ago, you must have been posting this as I was changing the information in my intro. Added subnautica instead. :). Thanks for mentioning it though. I'm out of touch with virtually everything Steam, have been since last year.

Hi Ema, I had the same problem last year. But i just created a new twitter account, which I use specifically for these giveaways. I made sure I was logged out of my other Twitter account and logged into the new Twitter account. If you try this and it doesn't work, then contact the giveaway team HERE, let them know the details you use to log into the giveaways with your online name and they should hopefully be able to reset it. Other community members have previously had the same issue as well

It says Early Access ..RELEASE DATE: 23 Nov, 2017 So that's a worry.

Anyways everyone have a nice day.
