Loaded fine on Win 7.
It'd be nice if I knew how many levels were in each inspection - I want to know how carefully to dole out my hints.
Good story line so far :-)
Thanks.

The game is interesting and fairly complex.
Big problem: you get exactly five help chances per investigation. If you use them all, you are done. There should be some way of getting more help instances otherwise one has to search for a walkthrough or else quit the game.

It says the files are corrupted

Sue Dow, I didn't get any corrupted files.
This might be caused by your antivirus program. Many of them don't like the security "wrapper" software used by Game Giveaway of the Day, so the delete or try to fix files. Others often recommend to disable your antivirus for 5-10 minutes, and then install the program. Seems safe so far, giveaways here have not had any malware.
I use BitDefender in Win 10, and have rarely had to turn it off. I'm not comfortable doing that, I bought it to protect my PC and rely on it. Just my perspective. Used Chrome browser to download.
The game today downloaded fine, installed fine. When I click the icon to run the game, it starts up "The Longest Journey" which I got from GOG.com. I had to change the properties on the icon to point to "game.exe" inside the folder for today's game (very common on my PC for anything from My Play City). All's good now, at least up to the screen where I can enter my name. No time to play today, but this looks like good one!
