Intelligence: Anime Girls:
In Brief:
A sliding tile puzzle game

The Game:
Intelligence: Anime Girls was created by the same developer (Laush Dmitriy Sergeevich) of the two games given away last week, i.e. Animals Memory: Dogs and the wrongly labelled Animals Memory: Dinosaurs, that turned out to be another game called Intelligence: Dinosaurs. As the game is basically the same, I'm not going to post a review of the game; if you want more information about Intelligence: Anime Girls just check out the description posted by the giveaway team above that adequately describes the game and my mini review of Intelligence: Dinosaurs HERE. You can see videos of game play HERE (same as the one posted below the green download button above) and via the Steam page HERE. We get a free standing version of the game not a Steam key., so no Steam achievements.
Today's game is basically the same game as Intelligence: Dinosaurs apart from the images are now anime girls instead of dinosaurs. As I mentioned in the review's of both of the previous giveaways. I believe they should have been combined into a single game rather than splitting them up piecemeal. As a whole they are okay and can be quite challenging with respect to memory, especially the sliding tile jigsaw's. If you like these sorts of sliding tile jigsaw puzzles then today's offering is worth downloading.
I struggled to complete some of the later levels with the Intelligence: Dinosaurs puzzles and the same will probably happen with this game as well, especially the 4x4 grids. The developer has released several of these over on Steam as a bundle HERE (6 games plus sound tracks). Granted, they are cheap £0.79 to £1.69 games, but it would have made a decent puzzle compendium if they were included in one package (IMO). I'd have been happy to pay the going rate for a decent and substantially larger (w.r.t. content) casual arcade game (usually retailing at between £5 to £8).

Useful Information not related to today's game giveaway:
Don't forget to check out the the latest Epic Games giveaway that this week is Just Cause 4 and Wheels of Aurelia. Just Cause 4 is an open world action shooter based in South America, you'll need a minimum of quad core i5 second gen with 3.1GHz core and 2GB of video and 2GB of system RAM to run the game. Wheels of Aurelia is a cute story driven road trip game set in 1970's Italy where you drive along the famous Western coastal road. It requires basic system requirements that will run in Win XP and a 2GHz core and 512MB gRAM and 2GB of sysRAM. The games will change to 'For the King' on Thursday 23rd April. It's a challenging blend of strategy, turn based combat and rogue-like elements. Also check out Reddit's Free Games on Steam (these fluctuate over the week, so it's worth checking daily at this time as there have been quite a few developers offering their commercial games for free since the lock-down - if you see a game, just open your Steam client and search for the game in the store, if it's still available free you'll see that they are 100% off, the site is updated frequently, so if a game is no longer available it's usually tagged with an 'Over' icon. Hurry though because these free games don't stay free long. Once added to your account they become permanently attached). You can also get loads of free DRM free games from Indie Gala and HERE. They have recently added a few more games that look worthwhile, including an excellent marble popper on the lines of Luxor, but with a fantasy setting. (Delenns posted a link in the forums, see my links below to go there) There's actually two marble poppers, the other one being Corona Match a 3D version of marble popping that is quite challenging.
Finally check Delenns threads for other freebies both Steam and Non Steam titles HERE and HERE

No Thanks.

Robert G.,
It's a false positive like always with the wrapper.

Robert G.,

Hi Robert,
It's a false positive. what bit Defender is picking up is the non malicious adware that is packaged with all Falcoware Games. These games are commercial games that are being given away for free because the developer has agreed to allow Falcoware (and possibly other free game distributors) to offer them for free because the 'non-malicious' adware earns them money. Every time you boot up the game you will get an advert while the delayed boot up is starting; (it takes about 20 to 30 seconds) then when you close the game down, your browser is opened and redirected to the distributors web site where you will see other adverts on the page. The money earned from these adverts is split between the developer and distributor. It has become a regular model for free game sites over the past decade since the financial crisis of 2008, where many small and some major game development houses went under. Casual arcade games pre-crisis used to cost $19.99 each, post crisis the price dropped to around $7 each. AAA developers responded by releasing unfinished games, then adding lots of DLC content to complete the games and boost the price of their games; for example, if you purchased all of the (often useless) DLC for later Call of Duty games, you'd be paying approaching $200 for each release. Other simulation games such as Microsofts old Flight Sim X and Dovetails Train Simulator games will cost you literally thousands of dollars if you wanted all of the DLC released for those games. for example presently to buy Train Sim 2020 with all DLC would cost you over $8000 (just for one game)
Nothing is installed to your system that is malicious. The adware is self contained withing the Falcoware installer, that also boots up the game.

Anu,

Hi Anu,
thanks for posting. We must have been posting around the same time as I didn't see your comment until I'd posted my extended reasons. :)

JJ Vastiau,

Hi JJ Vastiau,
please read my explanation and Anu's comment. It's a false positive. There is no malicious software contained within the game installer, just some non-malicious adware that does not install anything to your computers system. It's self contained within the Falcoware installer and is only active while the game is booting up and when you close the game down. (again, see my explanation above).

The game giveaway team thoroughly check all games that are downloaded from their servers with the latest anti malware suites. They have never given away a game infected with malware since the game giveaway was created back in early December 2006. They have given away a couple of thousand games over that period, all free of malicious software.
