It's better than: Insider Tales - The Secret of Casanova and Insider Tales - The Stolen Venus 2.

I can give this a thumbs up; not the best HOG I've ever played, but far from the worst. A bit too many HOS for me, but that's the basis for HOG's isn't it. But it did have a good mix of HOS and Puzzle, but still kind of simplistic, but still enjoyable. Not sure I'd spend money on it, but for FREE it was good.

Hi,

The game downloaded quickly and opened okay! Game play has some sort of delay or hitch, though able to move along well. I liked the little birds etc. Play is fairly easy, but not much to the story, just finding things and puzzling games so far. Its seems like a nice game though! Thank you and have a Happy Mother's Day all! Lee

It is a simple little game. Sometimes simple and little is what I want. Today was one of those days.

I downloaded with no problem. Installed on Win 7 Prem Home. I actually have a suggestion for the game. It was fun to play, however, on the levels where you have to match a small picture of "something" to what it goes with...I would suggest a way of labeling what the little picture is. They are so small, that they don't really make any sense as to what they "go with". Possibly a "hover" over the item and it tells the name of it. For example. A piece of the lamp shade, looked like a piece of garlic. Had the small piece said it was a lamp shade, I would have know what to look for in the larger picture to match it to. I enjoyed the game and the grands will too. Thanks again for letting us "sample" it. Hope all is well with you and your family.

The 'clip art' nature of some of the graphics is a little weird - but all and all it fits well with the nature of the game. I think the scrolling picture levels are interesting - if you don't have the front and back in just the right spot - you can't see the object you're supposed to find. Quite clever. The mini-games are fun, but they don't always fit into what's going on - Why do I need to untangle the web??

Help! I haven't downloaded anything from GOTD in a long, long time and this Software Informer software is new to me. I've downloaded and installed it and used it to download this game but can't find how to access the game on my computer. It did get activated. Is it supposed to be accessible through the Software Informer? If so, how?
Thanks in advance!

Most of the time i don't need an email, it just goes down to the corner and starts to unzip. No problem. The only time I need an email is if they want me to go to Face Book first or have them send a link.

The game did download at full speed, maybe they have upgraded their capacity. OTOH, the game is only 70 MB. :)

Works perfectly fine for me, the folder contains the same three files as always and scans clean.

A search of my PC shows two other Insider Tales games courtesy of GGOTD and MyPlayCity, so now the wife will have enjoyed the trilogy.

Thanks as always Game Giveaway of the Day!

A little leery today: When I clicked "download", which usually takes me to a page where I have to enter my email address and wait for a link, it immediately started downloading the zip file! And it downloaded in one or two seconds. With no comments at all here yet, I'm very concerned that this is somehow not a legit GGOTD file, and since we have to turn off anti-virus programs to install these, I'm hesitant to install something that doesn't fit the usual format. Has something changed?

We recently had another Insider Tales game here (Stolen Venus), which I enjoyed though some of the HOGs were very obscure, so I thought it would be fun to give this a shot, but I want to make sure it's legit.

neme, some of the games in the past have been direct download, but for this one, I was directed to the "give us your email" page. Hmmm...

neme, I've had that happen sometimes with larger game files. Optionally, you can download, then run your virus ware on the file/contents before opening them, or you can hop over to My Play City and check out the game there, downloading direct from them (also never had a problem with viruses from that site, so they should all be clean). Just hoping to help.

neme, You can always go download MyPlayCity files from their site - a good portion of them are always free. Get this one here: https://www.myplaycity.com/insider_tales/download.html

neme, I just downloaded the file. Took about 10 seconds for the 70 megabyte file. I clicked the box, entered my e-mail address, and got the link in my e-mail, as usual. If you're not sure about the file you've downloaded, just delete it and download another copy.

Thanks to all that answered. Unfortunately, I didn't see any answers for quite a while (and the "notify me" thing didn't happen) and gave up, so didn't get to install this one in the time frame. Interestingly, the same thing happened today with Houdinis Castle---no download page, just an instant download. Since I never saw this before, I was concerned, but will take a chance on today's game since I don't want to miss another one. Things sure are weird around here lately :). Thanks for those who took the time to respond; sorry the notification absence and moderation delay meant I didn't see them til too late.
