A decent physics based puzzle game ported over from android games..

Installation Issues:

Idolzzz downloads to a 74 MB zip file that unzips to two files, (a setup.exe and a read me). The game installs to the following path by default, but can be changed if you wish. The installed game is approximately 94.8 MB in size.

Five shortcuts are installed to the desktop, four of which can be safely deleted (i.e. Falco Space - Online Game!, FalconLine Online Games Website, FalcoGo WebGL Games! and Free Games Downloads!). If you don't want to install the games shortcut to the desktop during installation, just make sure the install desktop shortcut is unchecked when the 'additional task's window appears; you will still get two of the other Falcoware shortcuts installed (i.e. FalconLine Online Games Website & FalcoGo WebGL Games shortcuts). Also, if you don't like icons installed to the quick launch task bar, make sure you also uncheck the appropriate checkbox when the 'additional task's window appears (after the Select Start Menu Folder window).

Introduction:

As an archaeologist you will need to collect around the world ancient idols and pack them in boxes for further transportation to the museum. In this physical and at first glance a simple puzzle game you will have a difficult time getting another copy of deity and trying not to damage it in the process. Collect them all!

The Game:

The game uses mechanics that are quite "old", but manages to twist them a little bit thus rendering the 3 worlds (each one of them made up by 15 different levels) funny and entertaining to play :)

The basic idea of the game is a simple physics puzzle one - you've got to "transport" an idol, in this case, to its destination, which is a crate/box usually at the bottom of the level. You'll be able with the left mouse button to remove wooden blocks forming holes or "stairs" upon which the idol will stumble due to physics (and a bit of luck to be honest xD) and well, your goal is to make it go inside the box as I said.

Of course, going on with the levels means also an increased difficulty that will bring on the screen (nice cartoonish graphics by the way =P) more and more elements - platforms going up and down, enemy arrows thrown from the walls, coconuts to free and help your movements.. xD Rotating wooden mill-like structures, metal chains (to cut with your mouse too) with platforms and much more!

A rather innovative element of this game is that every level develops itself through many different screens - typically, your idol will be at the top of the screen and you'll need to make it fall down through several floor layers before reaching the box.. so, for its price, the number of level - quite low - isn't really a negative point in my view.

The music is very repetitive and I recommend to turn on something more catchy and interesting while playing this game :)

This said, there are also some other options that make for instance you skip a level and so on but overall if you're into puzzle games, especially those which are based on physics, this game's a nice way to spend some time with.. some times it's true that you'll need luck and the idol will get stuck for just some pixels or just misfortune but anyways the reload time's instant and you won't fall into any rage.

The biggest flaw of the game relies in my opinion in the fact that it's somehow always slow, especially for the levels involving the platforms moving from left to right which will make you wait a lot, and re-do everything from the beginning if you're unlucky or simply if you miss the right moment to free your idol.

But even if considering this issue, the game still's definitely enjoyable and everything runs well - if you like puzzle games give this one a try!

Conclusion:

Only saw this late afternoon, so didn't get much time to play before posting this, however, what i did play (several levels) was entertaining and well made. This is an excellent ported game from android, so don't expect shiny HD graphics, however, as a basic physics puzzle its well worth downloading..

Problems getting the game to work:

If you're having problems installing or activating or getting Idolzz to work please visit the FAQ's Thread HERE and read through the communities comments because sometimes fixes have already been posted, for example, a common issue seen since the Themida wrapper was introduced three years ago is that some community members installation of the game are blocked by their security because Themida code has been known to hide malware, (usually an error message is flagged for example 'The executable is corrupted' even though in reality it is not); so as a precaution some anti malware programs will block and even delete the suspect installation files even though the files (i.e. the setup, read me and setup.gcd files are actually totally free from malware. This issue can be solved either by rebooting your computer in safe mode with networking or a quicker method is to temporarily turn off your security software to allow the installation. You could also try whitelisting the setup.gcd file. In the almost 12 years this game giveaway site has been operating there has 'never' been a game given away that was infected with malware.
