The palm of Zoroaster was the best game I've played in a long time. The HOG graphics were well drawn and clever, as were the mini puzzles. The plot interesting enough to keep the game moving, and plot points are well distributed. One of the greatest features of the game is the map, which lets you return to rooms of interest directly. Unlike most games requiring you to endlessly wander about retracing your steps. Thank you for a great game. I'll look forward to more from them.

I bet there isn't 1000 doors in this game.

Downloaded and installed fine on Win 8.1. So far, having fun with this. Numerous hidden object scenes, some puzzles, etc. The videos are not too long or intrusive and clicking speeds up the dialogue (I generally read faster than they talk and it's annoying in other games when you have to wait.) I also love that there is a clickable map; I don't know why every game of this genre doesn't do that! The puzzles and HOGs are fairly easy, but not so much so that it gets boring. Overall, thumbs up for this one, and thanks! Wish there were a HOG/puzzle/adventure every week :).

Wow - what an bombastic introduction. Nice graphics, interesting story, my type of game.
Just cleaned the windscreen of the car. That's all for today's Sunday. Will continue tomorrow.
Installed fine on Win 10 64-bit. Many thanks.

marie, I find that copying my comment to the clipboard, then deleting it from the page, and pasting as a new comment (which I fix) before submitting gets around the no edit problem.

I haven’t played this game myself yet, but it is the second in the there seem to be at least two games in this series, the predecessor being subtitled Family Secrets.
There are two modes (Casual and Expert) and eight Chapters in the game. Note that in Expert Mode, there are no sparkles to alert you to the presence of a hidden object scene. Hopefully there are actually MORE than the claimed twelve HOG scenes?!
There are also 46 ‘beyond’ objects to find. These are not necessary to the story and are just a little side quest for those who like that kind of thing (personally, I don’t). Be aware that once you start a new Chapter, it’s impossible to go back to try to find any ‘beyond’ objects you missed.
Reviewers on Big Fish Games praised the inclusion of a ‘jump’ map in today’s GGOTD, something the earlier game didn’t have; one reviewer bemoans the lack of any kind of ending: “when you do the final task, the game just ends. No dialogue or anything. It’s just silly.” So if you enjoy the Big Climax that many HOGs have, be aware that this game Just Stops. Estimates of time to complete the game range from three hours to eight hours: take your pick! Reviewers in general praised the fast recharge time for both Hint and Skip.
Generally then, it gets a big thumbs up from users. If like me you are a fan of HOGs, you will probably find this one enjoyable to play, not too difficult (maybe even too easy?), and no need for a microscope or a Really Bright Light to find objects.
I hope that gives you a flavour of the game until Whiterabbit turns up later with a Proper Review! I’m off to click that nice green Download Now button …

Cad Delworth, Thanks for stepping up and gathering some info about today's game for all of us! :)
FYI, the predecessor of this game 'Family Secrets' (mentioned in the freeridegames.com review you posted) was given away here back in April 24, 2016.

Cad Delworth, Thanks for in depth coverage. Haven't been fan of this genre, largely due to getting annoyed finding some objects, esp the thing inside a thing routines. But I could find all the plain (non red ones) in the sample shot of review. Even the dreaded music note. The red ones I'd have to be in game to test. And the side pages to story look very well done, polished. Super review scores too! A 94% is way good & for a well worn genre at that.

Cad Delworth, Ah... The beyond objects that you can miss... I don't mind the extra challenge, just wish you could realize that you missed things before the very end of the game... Or had a counter for how many might be in the level. Ack! It's just a bit stressful, lol. Love HOGs though, so thanks for the review today. ^^
