Installed on alienware m17 R3, win 11, 4K screen, RTX2070S graphics processor driving 4k external monitor.
Only mention the RTX as the game gaked saying needs 3d acceleration when tried in duplicate screen mode.
Switched to RTX screen only and tried again, game hung the computer so bad I had to reboot. Uninstalled.

A nice game. I think the objects are nicely hidden, and I enjoy seeing some famous paintings. I like the 'incidental' noises - people walking by, etc.

There are 2 in the series, this is the first. It's basically just finding mistakes where this person has painted items that do not belong. Your job is to restore the paintings, get paid, buy things for your flat. There are some interesting clients, some decent hunt and find the mistakes. It's decent for a rainy day.

Jason covered it well below. The HOG scenes are busy and it's fairly tough to find many of the items. I have not gotten far enough to know about purchasing items for the room but will, hopefully, get to play more later this evening.
I really just wanted to post this advise in case anyone gets the error on launch about 3D acceleration like I did. This fixed it:
Rght click on the game shortcut > Properties > Compatibility tab > Change high DPI settings > check Override high DPI scaling
Thank you to all for this game!

Trying to run just gets me "This program needs 3D acceleration to run." Uh? This is a new Windows11 computer I just got a few months ago. Why doesn't it have that? My old W7 did, I never got a message like that before. :(

Today's game is sort of a game in the other hidden object genre where you have to earn money to furnish your room. This means that you have to work through hidden object scenes and find the difference screens among others within the game to complete your tasks.
You will find a hint button in all scenes which allows you to find an object you're having difficulty finding. If you need another hint, you will have to earn money in game to unlock the chance for another. Click too many times at once and the game penalizes you.
Speaking of which the scenes in this game are very detailed and very busy I might add for a hidden object game as some of the other ones I've played are more of the animated variety. These ones are life like to a certain degree.
I was certainly amused at the opening story as it depicts a little girl marking up fine art which is a big no when going to the museum. Given the photo realism in this game I don't know if it's actually based on a true story or not but strange story line.
If you find yourself struggling to the play the game performance wise you can turn off the custom paintbrush cursor from within the main menu. I had to do just that because the games cursor was lagging a little bit.
Overall I must say this is a download and play kind of game that's much different than the hidden object games we have received in the past. You might like it for the challenge or story line whatever you want to pick.
