I like this game very much. Thanks!

Columns 2 was recently released on Nintendo Switch, so to see a game follow in this style of play is a refreshing change from the normal match game.

LittleBear,
I agree, it's nice to see a mix of different match three styles, plus other genres. Makes for a more entertaining game IMO. Stay Safe Little Bear. Maybe catch you on Steam sometime. :)

Ooh, I like this one! Yes, it's old and a bit clunky, but then so am I - it isn't superfast (too fast for me to run after), it isn't all in darkness (my eyes don't do dark, these days) and it's possible to complete a level without yelling for help. It's bright and colourful, the tasks (so far) are manageable, and I managed to get through the first five sections without resorting to a strong cuppa to keep my spirits up!
No problems with the download or the installation (Win 10 laptop) and all still seems to be working, including me. So, yes - a brilliant offering today! Many thanks as ever to GGAOTD, to Toomky Games and the always reliable Whiterabbit for his review, which as ever is a good way of deciding whether a game is for me, or not.
This one is for me - you must have remembered my recent birthday! - and I'm going back shortly for another session and, I hope, a few more jewels to add to my collection. Thanks again!

WhiteRabbit, I want you to know how much I appreciate your review of games over the several years (can't remember how many right now) I've been coming to game.giveawayoftheday.com. I'm 78 and used to enjoy HOG games but in recent years I prefer Match3. You and your family stay safe, too.

Laurie Nelson,
Thank you Laurie, you stay safe as well.
I used to post a paragraph or more when the game giveaways first started back in December 2006. Then from mid 2007 onward I started to post full reviews of most games, (though not every day, as we were still getting a game every day back then and just didn't have the time to post every day, plus there were other community members who also posted really good reviews and useful comments such as {in no particular order} Game Seeker, Ambrosia, Belgian Dude, Sky Frontier, Cad Delworth, Fubar, Lockett, Bonnie, and my friend Delenn; thankfully a couple of those are still around after all these years i.e. Delenn and Cad Delworth). The giveaway team allowed me access to the admin panel so that I could edit my reviews because I was always posting them with spelling mistakes, typo's etc.

Don't like that you have to start the entire game over if you don't complete 1 task. Graphics not really clear.
Was also buggy on exit with error message.

Thanks White Rabbit-UK for your comments... I am always looking for new games to recommend to my senior friends and to people I know with disabilities for them to build brain power. These are great games for Stroke patients looking to improve cognitive function and still have fun playing a game. Looking forward to testing it out myself

Skipjack,
Hi Skipjack, absolutely. I worked on a Stroke rehab unit during my training back in the late 90's. There's enough variety to keep people engaged as well. Short but sweet.

THIS IS A FREE GAME

FREE GAME,
It was a commercial game originally released in 2008 and being given away via free game sites so that the developer and the distributor can earn more money via the advertising rather than actual sales because 12 years down the line, it makes more money by the developer allowing sites like TooMky Games and others to give it away rather than buy it, but its still a shareware commercial game not freeware. That said because of its age, it's unlikely you'll find it on the regular distributor sites like Big Fish, Alawar, Gamehouse etc.

FREE GAME, yes, but with Toomky adware if you install it from their site...

Jen,
Hi Jen, try reinstalling again. If the same error occurs immediately open the event viewer and check the event log. You should find more information about the error that may give a clue as the the issue.
From the information you have provided it would indicate a sound issue. Maybe update your audio drivers and see if that fixes the problem. you can find the appropriate sound drivers by opening up the Direct X diagnostics panel by typing DXdiag in the search bar and opening up the sound tabs. You should find the driver names there. You could also update your Direct X to the latest version (that may fix it without having to search for the driver).
