Sort of lost a day and only just seen todays game approaching 5am, with only three hours to go before the giveaway ends.

Hero of the day was released on Steam a couple of weeks ago; so, unfortunately there are no user reviews yet. It's a retro styled (pixel graphic) platformer.

Last I looked on Wednesday it said next game due in 4 days (but it always says that even when there's a game the following day); but, I've not been to bed until after 4am every night since last Wednesday 3rd Nov due to the rabbit sitting and hand feeding and things are becoming a little blurred around the edges.

One of my favourite genres is due soon (this weekend), but of course I can't tell you what it is; that said, it is a sister/brother to a game that was given away early in 2007. That's the only clue I'll give you. :)

Those who know my favourite genres will probably guess, but not the actual name of the game.

can't get past level 2 due to default controls which don't seem to work too well, may help a bit if there is a way to remap controls or use other options such default arrows but no such options
