This was actually a lot of fun. I like match threes, don't much like time management games, so I just ignored the minigame part. Made no difference in play.

HI!
I like this style of game having played 4 elements and has a little gardenscapes added! Had to switch to the custom
cursor, because the regular cursor would not move. The graphics are good, figures could use improvement. There is a bit of a pull with the cursor also. Thanks for another great game! Lee

This is really a cute game. I just got it d/l coming from the hospital a 2hr ago. Now I have only played the first part of the game and I see so far nothing to change. It d/l fine on windows 10 and I had no slowness. We will see. Thanks gotd and mpc ... nice game!!!

Good Windows 10 x64 Pro but needed compat of Win 8 or no active cursor on first run. Full screen, usual slide options.
Fun game especially for the 4 Elements fans. Unlocks initial mode once played a few levels. Only nit might be it can be a bit difficult at first to find the liquid source square that starts the series. Weird highlight for that square. Thanks GOTD.

I cannot download from your site anymore . I keep getting a fault that says "Failed to Connect. Please try again later." I don't have problems with any other website. Does anybody have a solution? Thanks.

mur,
Are you turning off your antivirus?

To start with, I've played this game before and loved it! However, as Corylea said in comment 5, it moves so slowly as to be almost unplayable. I don't know if its the Win 8.1 laptop I'm using until I can replace my fried desktop because I'm pretty sure it wasn't this slow before. However, it's a wonderful game, very enjoyable. Don't forget to water the flowers around the edges. I get so sad when I miss some of them.

For those that find they have no mouse pointer, after loading the game, like me, Win 7, here is a rough workaround. This part is the hardest! Use your invisible mouse and try to click on "custom cursor". If you manage to click on it Great! Now you have a pointer. Play the game as usual. But before exiting, go to options and click "fullscreen" to turn it off! Very important! Now next time you play you'll have a pointer! Just go to options, click "custom cursor" and "full screen" then play. But remember to exit as above.

Hello Venice

A MPC game that downloaded and installed well on Win 10 Pro.
A Match 3 game that uses flow technique through a garden setting matching colorful elements. And this one has turned out to be a fun addition to the Match 3 genre.
It plays well so far, and has several interesting twists to keep the game lively. Daughter has been playing it hard and really likes the game, although some of the timed management puzzles that come up are more a nuisance than a feature imho, but we are both not a fan of those so much, but luckily you get back to the action fairly quickly.

So if you have any interest in the Match 3 type games, make sure to check this one out, and a big thank you to GGAOTD and MPC for these fun games. And Whiterabbit hope your holiday has been excellent, and relaxing, You deserve some time off from Moderating, and hopefully they have someone who can hop in for you for a bit ;)

At first I thought the game was broken, but then I discovered that I just have to drag my cursor over the matching tiles VERY SLOOOOOWLY.

Is anyone else having this experience?

Reply   |   Comment by Corylea  –  7 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+1)

Corylea, I did play this game in Win8.1.
If I move the cursor fast, it will miss tiles.
That's difficult as I have played this kind of games more often and "see" the combinations.

Corylea, I was reading comments about invisible cursors so I tapped custom cursor and the lag is gone! Such a relief!

I LOVE this type of game -- there's something nearly hypnotic about watching the flow of energy or water or whatever seep through the board and then FINALLY set off the end. Thanks, GotD and PlayCity! (Does any know the names of any other games with this feature?)

Susan Canera, As written below- 4 elements, including collectors editionII. I love this chain making and gas flow as well. Like people say there is just something nice about that. I don't like the "Sparkle- Explosion" at the end though....TY very much for this Giveaway game Great...

philip, thanks for the reply! I already have 4 Elements, though (thanks to GOTD), so I was hoping there might be some others I'd never heard of.

Susan Canera, there is 2 or 3 other 4-Elements games. I played demo of one for an hour then gone.. It was not as good as coolectorsII. It was an early version of it though. Anyone is there others like 4elements or hello ven???

Pretty cool Match 3. It is one of those where you don't swap tiles, but connect chains. It is a progressive type game, where you need to clear a path for the water to flow from the source to the destination. We have had a similar game in the past, but I forget the name, and have lost it due to computer replacement.
There are optional time management mini games, and the story line is that you are beautifying the town square by buying items with the money you win in the game.
It's engaging and attractive. I really recommend it.

Joe, I think yu mean 4 elements collectors II. I am going to be happy with this match 3 then. because I loved the air or water flow as yu say.

Ray White,
Did you disable your antivirus? That typically is the issue with these games not installing.

I'm still on vacation and have very limited internet access, so moderation will be very sporadic over this weekend. The usual moderation and my reviews will resume next weekend when I'm back in the UK. We have two MPC games this weekend and another Steam game on Monday. The Steam game Nilhumbra posted a few days ago is still live, (there are 500 keys up for grabs) and I think the dlc for Forge of Gods is still live; so even if you missed both Steam keys over the previous few days, you should still stand a good chance of getting a key for Nilhumbra or the Forge of Gods dlc pack.

If you have any issues running today's game you could check the Big Fish forums HERE for help or check the giveaway FAQ's thread HERE. If you have any issues getting Steam keys for Forge of Gods, or are unable to complete the tasks for Nilhumbra you could contact the giveaway team via their contact formHERE . Unfortunately I'm unable to download the game here. The hotel blocks MPC games due to the adware they package with their games, so cannot review the games myself. Also, I'm unable to access my Steam client, so no review will be posted for Mondays game either. Hopefully everything will be back to normal next weekend. :)
In reponse to one particular community member, who used foul language a few days ago in their comment for Nilhumbra , I need to remind some members of the community that 'any' swearing (and that includes abbreviated forms) will not be tolerated here. This is a family site and will result in your IP address being blocked. See the moderation policy HERE for further information. Thank you.
