A top down indoe action game

The Game

Grand Theft Body is a weird but reasonable top down action game with pleasant graphics (but an annoying sound track - sort of like a repetitive dance/trance track) where your character is infected with a sentient microbe that steals peoples bodies. Move around the world from area to area, stealing some of your opponents bodies. You can also pick up various items dropped by some people you kill, such as money, drugs and key cards. This is definitely not for children. Some of the language used in the dialogue, especially the names of various characters may be offensive to some.

Watch out for moving vehicles as they will run you over and kill you if you happen to be in the middle of the road when they pass. Also watch out for gun toting criminals, that will shoot you on sight. You only get one life; so, If you die you start from the beginning of the level you died on. I couldn’t see any indicators to show how much money you collected, or find an inventory. There is a save button in the options but this does not save your progress. I tried leaving the game at various stages and on returning always had to start a new game.

Change direction = mouse pointer

ESC = Open/Close menu
