An exciting puzzle game to control a ball, which can be either white or black.

Good puzzle: Music - this puzzle type puzzle game. In the game, you need to collect a full-fledged image from small pieces that are randomly scattered across the screen. The images contain a variety of images with a musical direction. For a comfortable collection of the puzzle in the center of the screen is a black-and-white image of the final image. A nice feature when collecting a puzzle is the automatic "joining" of the puzzle piece to the key points. The game can be competitive in nature, the goal of which is to collect the puzzle as quickly as possible, as it will show the best time for which the puzzle was collected.
Key features:
- Beautiful images with music direction;
- Easy to assemble the puzzle due to automatic pick-up at key connection points;
- Nice soundtrack.

Good Puzzle: Music
In Brief
A simple jigsaw puzzle
The Game
Good Puzzle: Music is a simple jigsaw puzzle, created using the unity engine and apart from the actual images is exactly the same as the previous game that we were given on the 16th March 21. We've had several of these as well as other genres (amounting to over 30 games) from this developer (Laush Dmitriy Sergeevich) since early last year.

When you open the game you will see the level selection screen with access to 12 jigsaw puzzles. You can choose any of these right from the outset, despite it saying they are closed. There doesn't appear to be any significance to this as even once you've completed a puzzle it continues to say closed. Once a puzzle is completed the timer does not stop. If you return to the level screen then return to the puzzle it resets itself and leaves no indication that you've previously completed the game; also, there is no profile set up, and no progress stats included with the game.

You can select from three languages, English, Russian and Chinese via the flag button in the top right hand section of the game screen. You can also turn off the pleasant music via the speaker button next to the flag, or close the game via the X button.

Once you've selected a puzzle you will see a black and white image of the puzzle, which you can also see in colour if you hover your mouse over the artists palette in the top right hand corner of the puzzle. If you then click on the palette it will leave the image in colour, which can make it a tad harder to place the puzzle pieces because once a piece has been placed it disappears into the coloured image with no definable gaps/edges between pieces that have been placed and those that have still to be placed. That said, because you can see all of the image, it's easy enough to place most of the pieces just by matching up the piece with the image. Once the image is in colour, you can change it back to black and white temporarily by hovering over the artists palette, but it won't change it permanently. One your mouse pointe leaves the palette, it will return to the coloured image. Unfortunately there appears to be no way to turn this image off; which, in my opinion makes the puzzles far too easy.

Each puzzle is made up of an invisible 4 x 5 piece grid; once you've place any of the 20 puzzle piece's in the correct position, they will lock in place. If you place any puzzle piece in the wrong position, when you let go of it, it glows red and will return to the outside perimeter of the puzzles image automatically.

Overall, Good Puzzle: Castles is a 'very very' easy jigsaw to complete, especially with only 12 puzzles and each puzzle comprising of only 20 square puzzle pieces. Also, the inability to get rid of the puzzles image either in black & white or colour and the simple shape of each puzzle piece makes it even easier to complete quickly. An experienced jigsaw player can easily complete the whole game in less than 25 minutes. Because these puzzles are very simple they are probably only suitable for younger children between the ages of 6 to 8 (maybe with adult supervision).

p.s. forgot to add my virus scan results this morning. Cylance gave it a negative unsafe, but didn't specify any particular threat. The rest of the 58 antimalware engines cleared it of any malware.

I don't understand why everyone's saying how easy the puzzle is -- I'm a veteran jigsaw puzzler, but, perhaps because of the color---> b+w, I found some of the pieces slightly challenging. My only criticism of the game is that it's a little hard to see when you haven't placed the piece with 100% accuracy, so the timer keeps going and going, until you catch on that one of your pieces is "off" a little, and you have to find that one and fix it. All in all, though, I think it's a fun way to kill a few minutes.

Just to second what WR-uk said in his review, this is a good, very simple puzzle game on par with the other puzzle games given away here by this publisher. The game contains a dozen 20-piece puzzles based on the theme of music. Because of its simplicity, I would recommend this for young children, especially those with an interest in music. I've no experience in the field but I also wonder if it might be a good tool for learning impaired adults or children who, because of the ease of the puzzles, might be able to enjoy playing while learning. Just a thought.

Thanks to all involved for the giveaway!

jboy,

That's a good point JBoy. This would make a good puzzle for those with severe learning difficulties and maye those with brain injuries.
