Giper Run:

In Brief:
Giper Run is an interesting take on a pseudo runner game, created using the Unity engine. The graphic is basic, but that doesn't spoil the game play. You can stop and start and attempt to get past the obstacles. Obstacles are placed on revolving platforms connected together by short runs. As they turn, they leave gaps you can pass through, but if any obstacle touches you, your character/avatar has to start from the beginning again. Each attempt is slightly different with a mixture of different platforms that repeat in a random manner as you progress.

The top left number is the cumulative number of coins you've picked up over however many times you've played the game minus any you spend on new avatars. This figure is saved when you close the game down. The top right figure is the longest distance you've survived, and the middle number is your present attempted distance. Controls are click the Left Mouse (LMB) to access the different icons on the menu page and click the LMB button to move forwards when in game, leave the LMB to stop.

On the main menu is a gift icon, I think this allows you to pick up a gift every 24 hours. The bottom left icon that looks like a ribbon badge shows the global record for surviving, which stands at 89229 at the time of posting this short comment and the lower left icon allows you to spend some of the coin you've earned on different playable characters of which there are ten (not counting the default one).

I did try to capture some images, but oddly all were blank. Will try another screen capture program later if time allows.

I had a very late night/morning, so will be AFK till around lunch time. Also got the electricity coming sometime Wednesday. They have to turn the electricity off until some work has been carried out, so I may not be able to update at all until much later.

Notes on Security
I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found zero hits from 64 antimalware engines. You can see a scan of the installed game HERE

As with most of the Ashoot games, not compatible with my Win 32, XP, SP3 machine. Of course, Ashoot says only Windows. Either that has something to do with how he "acquires" his games, if he isn't the original developer (you'd think the original developer would know), or maybe he doesn't realize there's more than 1 version of windows (sarcasm intended). But, when you run something as old as XP, you realize a lot of things aren't going to work. No problem. Thanks anyway, GGOTD.

BTW, just as a layman, some evidence in the game folder that this may be a port from a browser game, though there's nothing wrong with that.

Today's game is a different genre from the usual games we get on Game Giveaway Of The Day. If you watch television, there is a competition game show called Wipeout where the contestants have to go across moving platforms to progress to the other side of the obstacle course. This game kind of reminds me of that.

The controls are super simple, hold down the left mouse button to go across the platform and avoid hitting any walls on the rotating platform while collecting coins. The coins you collect will gain you access to different looks of appearance when running across the platforms. There is a dog, and an object that resembles Pacman and so forth.

I found myself actually running across 4 platforms without letting go of the mouse button. Call it a miracle but after the 5th platform i just crashed into a wall and there it was, game over.

The game has no "brakes" to slow down so your only option if you found a crossing the platform streak as I did, to let go of the mouse button so you can slow down and not run into a wall. It's all about timing.

One thing I did notice is that this game does resemble a format of what mobile phone games have, picking up daily coins and so forth if that's what I understood in the main menu at least.

If today's game runs slow for you, you may wish to turn of Post Processing from the main menu and it should speed up things a bit although I had no issues running it with 4GB ram and Intel UHD 620.

Overall this is a fun little game that will have you challenge it again and again just to see how far you will make it into the game. The unlockable characters from the shop screen will make it worth your time to achieve them.
