This is a very fun and different game which I'm enjoying immensely. I'll echo some other commenters though -- The aim accuracy is off, making it hard to make the difficult shots. (I don't believe you should have to learn a game's deficiencies to play it.) How it awards stars is a complete mystery. I cleared one of the levels with one shot and got 2 stars. Used up most of my shots in sloppy play on another and got 3. It's also keeping a numerical score. I'm into the hundreds of thousands, and I don't know how it's scored, or even *why*.
This game would benefit tremendously by having some explanation included on to how to play, and what the stars mean, etc. I guess I'll go search for some walkthroughs, but that shouldn't be necessary.
Bottom line is, it's fun to play and a keeper for me. I see this is version 1.0 -- I look forward to v. 2.0!
Thanks as always to GGOTD, MPC and Whiterabbit. (With good wishes for your kids' exams!)

Ghost Cleaner
A MPC game that downloaded and installed well, like theirs normally do ;) and is a physics/arcade type game with some twists, and must say a bit deeper than it looks on first glance. Aiming isn't as accurate as it could be, but think they might be ok with that to make the game harder.
And suggestions to the developers would be to make more shooting elements (although that might because I'm a fan of that part) with a bit more precision to the shooter. Although she likes the other elements too. Decent graphics although they are a bit balnd after awhile.
So if you like these different games make sure to get this one before it's gone!
And have to add a note about the recent attacks too, as when people hurt innocent victims in the name of bringing attention to 'their cause' all they do is foster more hate, and more problems that go with it. Goodness and love will always triumph hate, and may they know that before this continues. So many prayers go out to all those affected and especially those harmed by all these acts.
And a note to WR, hope the children's exams are going well, know it can be a very challenging time for parents, but remember encouragement and kind words go a long way in helping them during them, as attitude is half the battle.

I am shocked about the incidents in London two, my husband and I were there at the Borroughs Market two years ago (and London is my home away from home). All my best wishes to the people in the UK.
The download and installation of the game went without a problem under Win10.
I don't have much experience with this sort of games but it seems like I will be able to play it. I am not a very experienced gamer but willing to learn more.
It was installed in German by itself so I guess it uses some kind of a locator, this is ok for me but the German translations are not very well.
Thanks for the game and all the best to everyone involved.

To me, this is very different from Peggle or Peggle Nights, because the targets move around after you hit them. This adds another level of depth as you try to plan ahead. I like the music and graphics, don't like the delay after I clear a board - I get tired of seeing a similar animation each time and would like to be able to click once to skip it. I really can't figure out the scoring. I took 3 shots on second level and got 2 of 3 stars, tried this several times. I missed a shot and needed 4 to clear the level, and that time I got 4 stars. Same on the third level. I expected stars would be awarded for clearing a level in as few shots as possible, but there's something else going on. Not sure if I like the random placement of the purple bricks each time to play a given level, it makes it easier or harder to clear that level, so it detracts from the "skill" aspect of the game. But it does make the levels more replayable. Overall it would be a better game without the stars!

Thanks for offer. Gonna pass since watching couple of the vids. While looks slick enough, there's just too much work involved for my pleasure. Right now pref is for the bat in Egypt, or games with more character driven story.
Sure, some gamers get off on a game that has brick busting style when approaching their game selections. For me though I want something a bit more 'transporting' than banging away in rote maneuvers, clever as the designs may be. Screen gets too busy with that long stream effect and all those items to slam away at. Each to their own of course. Dedicated twitchers
may be happy with this time passer. I'm just not enough of a knitter to stick with this.

Thanks GGOTD and MyPlayCity,
This is a nice different game, worth downloading. At the moment up to level 14 and the levels are not too hard to end, although some of them needed a replay for that :)
I find it quite hard to aim proper, to the end of a level sometimes there are only a few moving and bouncing objects left, or they are behind a grey, not removable block.
A small downside: there are not many bonuses: you can earn a shot back when it ends up in the freezer and you can buy some more shots for a certain amount of freed ghosts.

Hi hi! Thanks for the review as always and the video links. Even though Peggle was an "On the house" at Origin a while back, I never played it, and couldn't figure the mechanics of this game before watching the walk-through.
It reminds me of those puzzles where you have to get from point A to B in the least possible moves. Something like the wolf and sheep with the farmer at the river bank. At first, I thought that would be the challenging/addicting bit. However, the brick configurations quickly go from unusual to completely nuts! Can't find phantom what Physics to apply to those multi tiered levels. The level design is very engaging in terms of build and graphics - it's quite pretty despite the simple controls used to play.
It won't be an easy game to try, but since there are ways to recover some of your spent ammo, think I'll be adding this to my crafting-down-time / brain stretching list. ^^
Thanks to the developers and GoTD for today's offer. Cheers.

First, let me say that my heart goes out to the victims of yesterday's cowardly attack on the innocent and unsuspecting in London. If you want to convince others, you can't do it by bullying, intimidation, or force. You do it by logical persuasion.
As for Ghost Cleaner: It downloaded and installed faster than any other game recently given away here, proving that you don't need a huge file to run a good game. The game play is very smooth, the only issue I have is that it doesn't seem to want to run in full screen mode on my Windows 10 desktop, so I constantly ended up off-screen trying to max out distance on a shot, thus starting another program in the middle of the game. I would prefer to be able to adjust the volume of music or SFX instead of simply turning each off or on. And lastly, unless it's off-screen somewhere, I haven't found the "quit" button to stop and leave he program and restart it later. I did find that if you click the window icon in the upper left hand corner, it gives you the standard Windows options, one of which is EXIT PROGRAM, which works, although I haven't yet checked to see if it has saved my game. All in all, Peggle and it's ilk are amongst the more enjoyable types around, and it's nice to have this one added to the group.

bebop,

Maybe this will help? Haven't done Ghost Cleaner yet, but have run into a similar problem in the past. In 10 I right-click game.exe in the game's folder, & then click Troubleshoot compatibility in the context menu. A window pops up while it's scanning the app or game, then you have to click the button to test it before you can go further. When I click Test I had a similar problem with one MPC game, so after closing it I clicked next, then clicked on No, this didn't solve the problem in the compatibility dialog. After working on it for a minute or so the compatibility wizard had me test again, & that time it worked just fine. Closed the game & had it save those settings.

Sympathy, solidarity etc. on the London attacks.
"If you want to convince others, you can't do it by bullying, intimidation, or force. You do it by logical persuasion. "
I agree, but unfortunately we seem to be by far in the minority when you have world leaders trying to out-macho each other with a simple handshake.
"... well, not a place to discuss on a game forum so will leave it there, especially as I do not want to offend anyone."
As above I think it'd be nice if people could have honest conversation without worrying about something being taken the wrong way, or as confrontation or slight, worrying about the occasionally horrific consequences, e.g. Charlie in France. But alas that's not the world we live in... In some ways it may be worse here in the U.S., with the a-right to also worry about -- obviously disabled, in the area where we live I actually tend to whisper in my wife's ear when we're out, so no one can hear & find cause to confront.

delenn - thanks for the freebies.
I agree with the Montezuma, it's kind of boring but I'll keep it for now.
