GDO-TWO is a first person runner game

The Game

GDO-TWO is a runner game with levels. The graphic although a little dated still look pretty decent and is in a first person viewpoint. The game is quite challenging and each time you have to replay a level the layout is different, making this a re-playable game. Some of the obstacles like pendulums, suddenly appearing comic beanorisms (or Onomatopoeic words) like ''POW!' or Ker-Pow! (like we saw in the original Batman man series, starring Adam West & Burt Ward), as well as rotating lasers and very closely packed obstacles become quite hard to avoid at times and contribute to the overall difficulty of this game.

Movement is straightforward, using either the WASD or arrow keys to move left or right and to crouch (a rolling slide) under objects or jump over them. Collect coins on your way. The number of coins you collect are indicated in the top right hand corner of the game screen, below the best distance traveled. Neither of these indicators resets to zero when you restart the game.

I was unable to progress to the second level; (as I came over 15 hours late to the giveaway and didn't have enough time to persevere before retiring for the night), so cannot say if there are different static or moving objects or environments that would make each level stand out from its predecessor? When re-trying a level the return buttons appear to be in Russian (though initially are not labelled {see the sixth image below}). The top larger button returns you to the start of the level and the bottom button to the main menu. There doesn't appear to be an options to change languages. The main menu is in English and comprises of only two buttons, PLAY and EXIT; Pressing the Esc key will take you to a different main menu (see the first image below), that allows you to scroll between already unlocked levels. The game was created using the Unity Engine.

If you like runner games, this isn't 'all-that-bad' and I'd recommend you try it for yourself. You can see a video of game play HERE
