Windows Defender blocks the GOTD setup.exe from working. Uploaded to Virus Total 2 less known [unknown] AV scanners tag it as a trojan, which is of course nonsense. I did get it to work using Windows Sandbox -- I assume it would also work in Windows Safe Mode -- turning off Defender as possible in Settings did not help.

mike, Using fully updated Win10 Home, I had no Defender warnings or popups. The game worked for me. It's a basic time management game. I finished the first level and quit. The art looks like it was drawn in Windows Paint.

gm, you're correct -- it works now where it was blocked before, I assume because Microsoft tweaked [fixed] things at their end. *I believe* some AV software adds anything new as soon as it shows up on Virus Total just in case, then the developers take a closer look at it to see if blocking the code is warranted.

This is a time management game where you have to send the gnomes into the mine to collect gems and also keep them fed and well. I have tried the game for about 20 minutes but it didn't hold my interest but worked well on windows 11. Its worth a try though you may like it. Thank you for offering this game today.
