Possibly becasue we have seen a couple of repeat giveaways from this developer. what I would suggest is that you contact the developer Panoramik and tell them you missed the giveaway via the game giveawayoftheday and ask if they intend giving away more keys soon. They may just send you one. They have been extremely generous over the last year giving away virtually all of the dlc for two different games amounting to over £80. You must also install the main game before you can use the Steam code received via this offer.

You have to install the main game Forge of Gods via your Steam client first. if you don't have a Steam account you will first have to download and install the Steam client via the following link:

Conclusion:

I've not played the game long enough to give an 'informed' conclusion at this time, however, the time I have played was quite enjoyable. Rewards are gained during and at the end of every battle, game play is very easy to pick up, though as you build up your army you'll need to use your head to decide which creatures in your army you'll use in the many battles that await you. If you enjoy strategy and multiplayer games this is a game you will probably enjoy.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Panoramik for giving the Infernal War dlc pack for Forge of Gods, and also to the game giveaway team, as always, for providing a safe environment to download free games.

The latest free game over on Origin is still Nox. Nox is an action role-playing game developed by Westwood Studios and published by Electronic Arts in 2000 for Microsoft Windows. It details the story of Jack, a young man from Earth who is pulled into a high fantasy parallel universe and has to defeat the evil sorceress Hecubah and her army of Necromancers to return home. Depending on the player's choice of character class at the beginning of the game (warrior, conjurer, or wizard), the game follows three largely different linear story lines, each leading to its unique ending. If you've ever played the early RPG's such as Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale or the early Fallout series and liked them, you'll probably like this game as well. It's 16 year sold now, but still looks pretty good for it's age. This type of game has held it's appeal and looks far more than the early first person games. I highly recommend it..

The key is for the 'Free to Play' game Forge of Gods. You first need to install the game via your Steam client. Go to the games store page and click 'Play Game' Make sure you are signed into your Steam account first. Once installed you can activate the dlc via the code you have been given. To do this click on Games (located along the top of the client between Friends and Help) . From the drop down menu select 'Activate a Product on Steam. A small 'product activation' window appears; follow the prompts. Once completed, the dlc will be permanantlry associated with your Steam account.ollow the :

i tried last night to get the key code for this DLC, however, after proving that I am not a robot, I kept getting the message that the activation codes had ended...now I read that there was a problem with them not expecting such a large number of people trying to download this and had to ask for more codes and that they would extend the giveaway until 2am Monday morning (eastern time). so I gave up for the night and decided to try again tonight but now I am reading that the giveaway will be opened up again as of 4pm (eastern time) Monday august 22 and will be run for an additional 16 hours...I am hoping that this is correct since as of right now it is telling me that the giveaway is over...I will check back here after 4pm this afternoon and hopefully receive the key code for this as it looks really interesting and I would really like to try it out. if this is incorrect I hope someone will let me know and let me know what I have to do to receive the code. thank you. grammie2thecat

I'll have to check into this because the giveaway team definitely said they would be extending the giveaway for 17 hours (that is until 2am Monday morning). They also promised to get enough keys for those that came later to the giveaway. The game was very popular so keys went extremely quckly. At its height several years ago, the game giveaway site received over 100 000 visits per day, with over 50 000 downloads for some games, so, 5000 keys isn't actually that many considering the number of potential game giveaway community members there are (or were). Of course, since the changes we have lost some community members, but I believe most community members, even though they don't post, still visit the game giveaway site each weekend, if only to see if there is a game that takes their fancy. I can only quote download and activation nubers via the admin panel I have access to. I've not found a counter number for the number of actual page views, though wordPress does have add-ons that enable such a view.

One hour and 33 minutes remaining for the giveaway and there are no more activation codes. How ironic. Earlier today it was noted there were an unlimited quantity licenses and additional ones will be added. When I went to download the game I got the message"Activation codes ended". I don't remember reading the activation codes will end before the giveaway. Steam game giveaway are not truth tellers. Each time I attempt to download a Steam giveaway there's always is a license problem. Maybe one day I'll get lucky to download and activate one of their games.

Hi Disappointed, the giveaway team did post about this problem earlier today. There was an unexpected number of giveaway community members showing interest in this game today. They have promised to get more keys, but as the developer of this game doesn't work 24 hours a day, we have had to wait to get more keys. The game, not the giveaway site. As I've said many times since the giveaway site changed back in February, and before that, it has become increasingly difficult to secure free games so the giveaway team have looked to get games via other sources. Better this than no games at all. The attitude of the giveaway community, especially since the changes does not help towards getting new games. If you were a developer and saw the comments on this site each week, would you give away thousands of copies of your game. Ever since I started to moderate I've asked the community to give feedback about the game. Of the thousands who download each week, less than 0.01% of the community bother to comment at all and of those only a very small, insignificant percentage bother to actually comment meaningfully about the game. I for sure would not give any game I'd spent thousands of hours creating away to such an ungrateful community. Can't you see such negativity is counter productive to getting more and better games?????.

Hi jorgemikes, the giveaway team did post about this problem earlier today. There was an unexpected number of giveaway community members showing interest in this game today. They have promised to get more keys, but as the developer of this game doesn't work 24 hours a day, we have had to wait to get more keys. The team have extended the giveaway another 17 hours effectively until 2am Monday morning UK time). If you haven't received a key by that time please contact the giveaway team.

Forge of Gods: Infernal War Pack
Downloaded and installed after I got the Original game off steam, checked it out and it has very colorful graphics, but is confusing in some areas. Does play well for the most part, and the expansion pack gives you some upgrades. Must admit RPG with cards are not my favorite genre, and we got a bit bored with this one but again these aren't my style of games, so YMMV.
Did not like how it encourages you to purchase even more items as you go along, but many of the games do that now.

For fans of the genre, or someone who already had the game, this would be a big win for them I would have to think! Nice looking game. And deeper than the average RPG from the feel of it.

Thank you for your feedback JBurt, much appreciated. I agree about the cfonstant suggestion to purchase items during the game. I do believe for those who enjoy this type of game such practices can become addictive. i know of one friend (who has sadly passed away) wwho spent a small fortune (literally hundreds of dollars) while playing a particular facebook game for several months and I've heard some gamers have spent thousands of dollars on these pay to win games. Still i enjoyed the time i've so far played, but probably won't play it much more simply becasue I have too many other games that interest me more; even some of my older games that I've played for thousands of hours such as Battlefield 2, Vietcong, Men of Valor and the earlier Elder Scrolls games as well as the last couple of Fallout games and of course my favorite shooter ArmA II and ArmA 3. (ArmA stands for Armed Assault)

p.s. I closed off the code you used so as not to affect my rely. :)

epasts151, This one has not been given away before. Forge of Gods is a free game on Steam. This is an add-on pack, DLC. The last one was a free give away of a $6 pack, Winter's Gasp. This one is Infernal War, worth nearly $10 savings. The other one they have is Spring Rush but it's a $25 DLC so don't expect that one on here.

From the main page click on Proceed to Download page, then click on the green 'Download Now' button. From there you have to log into your steam account via browser, once logged in you are returned to the giveaway page where you have to fill in your name and email, where the steam code is sent.

The number of licenses in unlimited, more keys will be added later if we run out of the first pack before the end of the promotion.
This is a commercial DLC pack for a free-to-play game, you may find the download link in the description.
