To community members having a problem with today's game giveaway, please read all of the following:

Firstly, there is no actual download from this site today. The main game is a free to play game available via Steam. You download the game via your Steam client, (go to the store and type in forge of Gods, when the appropriate game opens click on play. that will install the main game for you. Once completed you can then input the Steam code you were given (assuming you followed all of the instructions below)

If you're new to Steam and don't know how, look at the image in my review that shows you where to click to get the correct window to open (basically click on game that is situated along the top of the Steam client and from the drop down menu click on 'Activate a Product on Steam. This brings up a small window. Click on the appropriate buttons and you will be able to copy the code you were given to your Steam client. Once completed the code is permanently attached to your account.

When you click on the green button labelled 'Proceed to download page (see first image below) it takes you to a second page, usually a link to Facebook. This can be skipped, but you still have to click on the Facebook button. When the Facebook log-in page appears, close it down (or sign in if you want to inform your friends) and you will be taken to another page with another green button labelled 'Download Now Forge of Gods: Fantastic Six Pack', (see third image below). This is not a download button, when you click on it, it should take you to the Steam log in page via your browser, where you have to log into your Steam account; (see the fourth image below). If you've not signed into your Steam account via that browser before, or not on your present computer, you may have to verify your account, (see image number 5 below)

Once you've logged into your Steam account your browser is redirected back to the Gamegiveaway site to a page where you need to fill in your name and the email you want the Steam code to be sent to. (see sixth image below). Once filled it, click on the green 'Get Key' button; you may also have to check a reCATTCHA to prove you are not a robot. Once this is done you should receive a message saying (in large green letters) 'Successfully submitted' and in black 'The Steam key was sent to the given email address. check your inbox and spam folders'. (see image seven below).

If you are having problems getting today's Steam key, please read my other post that explains the steps required to get today's free Steam key for the Forge of Gods dlc pack. Please be aware that there is NO download directly from the Gamegiveaway site today. The main game, which is a Free to play game should be installed via your Steam client once you've signed into your Steam account. Assuming you already have the game installed, you can then input the steam code for the dlc in the usual way. I've explained how to do this in the other post and briefly in this review as well.

Tomorrows game is a non Steam game and is a genre we've only ever had once before several years ago when we still got games every day. All I'll tell you is that it is a physics based game.

In Brief

FORGE OF GODS is a multiplayer card strategy RPG! Collect and train as many monsters as you can to assemble the greatest team and fight through hordes of enemies. Todays game giveaway is the Fantastic Six Pack dlc for the free to play game Forge of Gods. You will need a Steam account to play the game. You must also install the main game before you can use the Steam code received via this offer.

Whether you like or dislike Forge of gods please give some feedback about your opinion of the game, for example, what you liked or disliked about the game, and how it could be improved from your point of view. If you don't like this genre at all, please explain why. What improvements would change your opinion? There are thousands of subscribers to the game giveaway of the day every weekend which makes this an ideal forum for giving developers ideas as to what their consumers (i.e you) would like to see in a game. For example, you could suggest extra content such as better or more original mini games, or a level editor that you would like to see that would make it more appealing to you. Maybe you think the graphics are a little dated and are in need of re skinning, or maybe you've just had enough of the genre and want to see something different or something with more originality?Giving such feedback instead of saying nothing or just saying this game is rubbish may bring more developers to the site, which could mean more and better games. Would you give away thousands of copies of a game (or extra content for a game) away to a community that complains all the time instead of giving useful feedback? It only takes a few moments of your time. This site could be transformed if only the community would be more forthcoming in their opinions of the games they are getting for free.

Installation:

You have to install the main game Forge of Gods via your Steam client first. if you don't have a Steam account you will first have to download and install the Steam client via the following link:

then create a Steam profile. Once that has been completed you can install the main game free of charge (because the main game is Free to Play), then input the Steam code that you've received (after completing the form filling) via the game button along the top of the Steam client. From the drop down menu select Activate a product on Steam (see image below)

Then follow the various prompts. Once the steam code has been accepted the dlc pack will be permanantly associated with your steam account. I think this is the fourth dlc pack we have been given away, the first of which I missed due to being on vacation. Each dlc adds something new to the game, for example todays dlc pack adds six new powerful creatures to your army, i.e. Frostheart, Little Helper, Adept of the Order D, Breeze Bringer, Cheeping Ball and Redborn

Forge of Gods is completely free to play. However, some in-game items can also be bought for real money. Todays game giveaway dlc is one such way to acquire in game items that usually cost real money.

Conclusion:

The short time I've played Forge of Gods was quite enjoyable and I will certainly be rejoining the battles over the coming months. With the extra dlc now added to my account, things should get a little more flexible with respect to having access to a creater choice of more powerful creatures to go battle with. Rewards are gained during and at the end of every battle, game play is very easy to pick up, though as you build up your army you'll need to use your head to decide which creatures in your army you'll use in the many battles that await you. If you enjoy strategy and multiplayer games this is a game you will probably enjoy.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Panoramik for giving the Fantastic Six Pack dlc for Forge of Gods, and also to the game giveaway team, as always, for providing a safe environment to download free games.

The latest free game over on Origin has now changed to the excellent (thugh dated by 19 years) Dungeon Keeper. You can get it HERE. Please note that you do require the Origin game platform to be able to download and install the game.

Wrath of Shamans 2 Pack for the Free to Play game spellweaver is available over on Failmids Shareware-on-Sale site HERE. It's not a Steam code, but once added to your Spellweaver account you should be able to access the extra content via your Steam account, tohugh it's not necessary to have a Steam account to play this free to play game.

To celebrate Ubsofts 30th anniversary they have been giving away a AAA game every month since June (Prince of Persia, Tom Clancy's Splintert Cell, Rayman Origins, The Crew and now for October we are getting Beyond Good and Evil. To get the free game and the next two (for Nov and Dec) you need to have a free uPlay account to be able to access the free game. Once it's tied to your account, it's yours permanently.

To get the game you have to log into your uPlay account, then click on the banner that says Ubisoft turns 30. This should open a new page where you can get Beyond Good and Evil added to your account. If you don't have a uPlay account you can create one HERE. Click on the green Join the Club button, get your free account, then get your free copy of Beyond Good and Evil.

If you spend over three dollars in the Indie Gala store (they have some excellent bundle deals, but these are excluded from the offer) you will also get a free (Steam key) for the post apocalyptic game 35mm that usually costs £5.99 (the link takes you to the discounted games, the Steam copy link takes you to the 35mm Steam page). 35mm is a story about two travelers who set out on a long journey in the wasteland, which was created after a global epidemic. The disaster destroyed much of the world's population, the infrastructure went belly up and what was only remained in the memories of those who survived. In order to survive, you will have to adapt to the changes. You will have to play the character whose path runs through the deserted towns , cities , fields and forests of the vast country of Russia. You'll even discover a secret underground facility.

The Daily indie Games site (DIG) are still offering free Steam keys for Hacker Evolution Time Dimensions and Crystals of time. To get keys for these two games you will have to do similar activities as you do for those Steam games that have been offered for the past several months over on the game giveaway site.
