To community members having a problem with today's game giveaway, please read all of the following:

Firstly, there is no actual download from this site today. The main game is a free to play game available via Steam. You download the game via your Steam client, (go to the store and type in forge of Gods, when the appropriate game opens click on play. that will install the main game for you. Once completed you can then input the Steam code you were given (assuming you followed all of the instructions below)

If you're new to Steam and don't know how, look at the image in my review that shows you where to click to get the correct window to open (basically click on game that is situated along the top of the Steam client and from the drop down menu click on 'Activate a Product on Steam. This brings up a small window. Click on the appropriate buttons and you will be able to copy the code you were given to your Steam client. Once completed the code is permanently attached to your account.

How to get your free Steam key for the Forge of Gods dlc pack

When you click on the green button labelled 'Proceed to download page (see first image below) it takes you to a second page, usually a link to Facebook. This can be skipped, but you still have to click on the Facebook button. When the Facebook log-in page appears, close it down (or sign in if you want to inform your friends) and you will be taken to another page with another green button labelled 'Download Now Forge of Gods: Fantastic Six Pack', (see third image below). This is not a download button, when you click on it, it should take you to the Steam log in page via your browser, where you have to log into your Steam account; (see the fourth image below). If you've not signed into your Steam account via that browser before, or not on your present computer, you may have to verify your account, (see image number 5 below)

Once you've logged into your Steam account your browser is redirected back to the Gamegiveaway site to a page where you need to fill in your name and the email you want the Steam code to be sent to. (see sixth image below). Once filled it, click on the green 'Get Key' button; you may also have to check a reCATTCHA to prove you are not a robot. Once this is done you should receive a message saying (in large green letters) 'Successfully submitted' and in black 'The Steam key was sent to the given email address. check your inbox and spam folders'. (see image seven below).

Hi NoneNone, did you try using a different internet browser? Some community members did have problems following through all of the stages, but the problem resolved itself by using a different browser. Almost sixteen thousand keys were sent out to the community, so there wasn't a problem at the giveaway end. Often it is the way a community member has his or her computer configured, or some process running in the background that conflicts with the giveaway process that is the fault. I used Waterfox which worked first time for both myself and my son.

He's not activated the pack yet and has said he's not really bothered about playing the game again after getting a key for one of the previous dlc's, and would be happy to pass the key on to you if you wish. Just post another comment to let me know that you'd like the key and I'll email it to you using the email you provided beginning with f*****33@ n******* .pl If I don't see an email from you by the end of todays (Sundays) giveaway i.e. Acrophobia Ball, I'll assume you're not bothered, in the mean time, if anyone else didn't received a key that has already posted prior to this, if you post another comment saying you would like the key, the first one to post will get the key if NoneNone doesn't respond. If you've not commented previously I will not pass on the key for obvious reasons i.e. some unscrupulous community members could say they never received a key even though they did, just to get another key they can trade on the Steam trading sites.

If you are having problems getting today's Steam key, please read my other post that explains the steps required to get today's free Steam key for the Forge of Gods dlc pack. Please be aware that there is NO download directly from the Gamegiveaway site today. The main game, which is a Free to play game should be installed via your Steam client once you've signed into your Steam account. Assuming you already have the game installed, you can then input the steam code for the dlc in the usual way. I've explained how to do this in the other post and briefly in this review as well.

Tomorrows game is a non Steam game and is a genre we've only ever had once before several years ago when we still got games every day. All I'll tell you is that it is a physics based game.

FORGE OF GODS is a multiplayer card strategy RPG! Collect and train as many monsters as you can to assemble the greatest team and fight through hordes of enemies. Todays game giveaway is the Fantastic Six Pack dlc for the free to play game Forge of Gods. You will need a Steam account to play the game. You must also install the main game before you can use the Steam code received via this offer.

Suggestions:

Whether you like or dislike Forge of gods please give some feedback about your opinion of the game, for example, what you liked or disliked about the game, and how it could be improved from your point of view. If you don't like this genre at all, please explain why. What improvements would change your opinion? There are thousands of subscribers to the game giveaway of the day every weekend which makes this an ideal forum for giving developers ideas as to what their consumers (i.e you) would like to see in a game. For example, you could suggest extra content such as better or more original mini games, or a level editor that you would like to see that would make it more appealing to you. Maybe you think the graphics are a little dated and are in need of re skinning, or maybe you've just had enough of the genre and want to see something different or something with more originality?Giving such feedback instead of saying nothing or just saying this game is rubbish may bring more developers to the site, which could mean more and better games. Would you give away thousands of copies of a game (or extra content for a game) away to a community that complains all the time instead of giving useful feedback? It only takes a few moments of your time. This site could be transformed if only the community would be more forthcoming in their opinions of the games they are getting for free.

Installation:

You have to install the main game Forge of Gods via your Steam client first. if you don't have a Steam account you will first have to download and install the Steam client via the following link:

then create a Steam profile. Once that has been completed you can install the main game free of charge (because the main game is Free to Play), then input the Steam code that you've received (after completing the form filling) via the game button along the top of the Steam client. From the drop down menu select Activate a product on Steam (see image below)

Then follow the various prompts. Once the steam code has been accepted the dlc pack will be permanantly associated with your steam account. I think this is the fourth dlc pack we have been given away, the first of which I missed due to being on vacation. Each dlc adds something new to the game, for example todays dlc pack adds six new powerful creatures to your army, i.e. Frostheart, Little Helper, Adept of the Order D, Breeze Bringer, Cheeping Ball and Redborn

Conclusion:

The short time I've played Forge of Gods was quite enjoyable and I will certainly be rejoining the battles over the coming months. With the extra dlc now added to my account, things should get a little more flexible with respect to having access to a creater choice of more powerful creatures to go battle with. Rewards are gained during and at the end of every battle, game play is very easy to pick up, though as you build up your army you'll need to use your head to decide which creatures in your army you'll use in the many battles that await you. If you enjoy strategy and multiplayer games this is a game you will probably enjoy.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Panoramik for giving the Fantastic Six Pack dlc for Forge of Gods, and also to the game giveaway team, as always, for providing a safe environment to download free games.

The latest free game over on Origin has now changed to the excellent (thugh dated by 19 years) Dungeon Keeper. You can get it HERE. Please note that you do require the Origin game platform to be able to download and install the game.

Wrath of Shamans 2 Pack for the Free to Play game spellweaver is available over on Failmids Shareware-on-Sale site HERE. It's not a Steam code, but once added to your Spellweaver account you should be able to access the extra content via your Steam account, tohugh it's not necessary to have a Steam account to play this free to play game.

To celebrate Ubsofts 30th anniversary they have been giving away a AAA game every month since June (Prince of Persia, Tom Clancy's Splintert Cell, Rayman Origins, The Crew and now for October we are getting Beyond Good and Evil. To get the free game and the next two (for Nov and Dec) you need to have a free uPlay account to be able to access the free game. Once it's tied to your account, it's yours permanently.

To get the game you have to log into your uPlay account, then click on the banner that says Ubisoft turns 30. This should open a new page where you can get Beyond Good and Evil added to your account. If you don't have a uPlay account you can create one HERE. Click on the green Join the Club button, get your free account, then get your free copy of Beyond Good and Evil.

If you spend over three dollars in the Indie Gala store (they have some excellent bundle deals, but these are excluded from the offer) you will also get a free (Steam key) for the post apocalyptic game 35mm that usually costs £5.99 (the link takes you to the discounted games, the Steam copy link takes you to the 35mm Steam page). 35mm is a story about two travelers who set out on a long journey in the wasteland, which was created after a global epidemic. The disaster destroyed much of the world's population, the infrastructure went belly up and what was only remained in the memories of those who survived. In order to survive, you will have to adapt to the changes. You will have to play the character whose path runs through the deserted towns , cities , fields and forests of the vast country of Russia. You'll even discover a secret underground facility.

The Daily indie Games site (DIG) are still offering free Steam keys for Hacker Evolution Time Dimensions and Crystals of time. To get keys for these two games you will have to do similar activities as you do for those Steam games that have been offered for the past several months over on the game giveaway site. There really is no need to be so rude Hyland. your comment has been deleted for inapproprite language. Almost 16 thousand community members were able to get keys for this dlc pack. you were obviously having difficulty understanding the instructions on how to receive your key. unfortunately I neglected to answer you post until it was too late to help.

Maybe next time you'll have more luck. It really does pay to be polite instead of hiding behind the anonymity of the internet and throwing abuse at people who are only trying to help.

Hi It's me now. Did you read all of the comments from todays giveaway. Others had the same problem and tried using different browsers which seemed to fix the problem. The issue cannot be from the giveaway side as they have successfully issued almost sixteen thousand keys to community members over the last 24 hours. As mentioned elsewhere, the issue is usually a computer issue from the community members side. Possibly the way you have your computer configured, or a conflict with some other program you have running in the background. Please read my comment to NoneNone , for the possibility of getting a key after the giveaway has ended. I only have one spare key (thanks to my son), so it will be first come first served.

There's nothing wrong with the link Hyland. Pity your rage degenerated into throwing abuse at the moderator. He may have been more forthcoming with suggestions. Next time you should perhaps read all of the comments posted here and try the fix that was suggested. Almost 16 thousand community members did receive keys for the dlc pack. It was probably the way you have your computer configured that caused the problem getting a key. did you try changing your browser? That seemed to work for those who initially posted saying they couldn't get a key. Please ignore the offer I've made via my reply to NoneNone.

I had the same problem, link seemed broken, kept giving me the same page. I changed from Opera to Edge and then it worked. Hope it'll help someone here;)

It works fine now, and the game is awsome:)

Forge of Gods, I started playing a bit when they gave away a similar offer over at Failmid. Appearantly they found GGOTD as well and for fans of this genre I think that is a good thing. Although I am not really a fan of this type of game I must say I still enjoyed it for a while. It is easy to get in, the tutorial is clear and simple and beefore you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious you are on your way. Your warriors can gain levels and they can merge and evolve.

unfortunately as many free to play games this runs on micro payments. I haven't played long enough to see if this becomes Pay2Win but checking the Steam Discussions this seems not to be the case (with Steam games, always check discussions before deciding on downloading or buying a game, the discussions often are very telling)

As I have the game I will take the pack, I am sure I will play it during a few lost minutes. I think RTS players will like this game as well as those that want a nice game to try the genre out. It looks nice, it is not that hard to understand and so far the dev has given away 4 packs (3 on Falmid, 1 here) and I wouldn't be surprised if more where to follow

Nice addition to the GGOTD Library, now when are you guys getting Garry's Mod on here :D

This is actually the fourth given away here. I missed the first one as I was away on vacation and didn't have great internet, so missed out on the first dlc, but have got the other three. It's not a game I'd play often, but I have enjoyed the time I've spent so far playing it. Been too busy of late to play much. Got Mafia III to play at the moment. As good, if not better than Mafia II

As mentioned in my review, the main game is Free to Play, but as with most Free to Play games, they also sell downloadable content (commonly referred to as dlc) to expand the game play base. Some end up becoming Pay to Win, others just add to the games enjoyment, some dlc, for example dlc for The Elder Scrolls online add extra content that does not give you an advantage over other people who can't afford the dlc, they just expand the game in other non competitive ways. Still not sure which category to place the Forge of Gods dlc into yet.

The pack being given away here is definitely not free. It usually costs £6.99/$9.99 and there are four other dlc's, three of which have been given away previously, totaling almost £28/$38 and as Mavadelo has mentioned elsewhere some of these packs have also been available via Failmids site as well.

I don't mean to come over all officious, but it would be appreciated that before you post such remarks you get your facts right. Such comments can put other community members off bothering to follow through and get what most consider an excellent game. The Steam community are mostly very positive about this game; so it would be a great shame if some giveaway community members miss out on this dlc pack becasue they read and believed your comment.

Please read my comments at the top of the page. There is NO download from this site. you get the base game which is Free to play via your Steam client. You also need a Steam account - I've explained this in my review, and explained how to get a Steam key for the dlc pack that adds extra paid for content to the free game in the other moderator comment i posted. Same here. I checked FireFox and it is UTD. Since WaterFox supposedly works, I install it and updated to the latest version. I even tried Internet Explorer. All of them just bring me back to the GGOTD home page. Too bad...

Shad Rogers, please read the review and explenation given by WhiteRabbit. There is no download. You have to read the giveawaypage you are brought to, it will ask you to authorse through steam, after you have done that a screen will be presented where you fill in name (nickname) ad email after which the key is send to your email adres. This key is then added to Steam using the "Add a Game ->Activate a product on Steam" option bottom left in the Steam window. You need to download the game through steam and make a player account.

When trying to request the game by email, the 'Get the link' button next to the enter your email box does not work at all, no matter what browser I tried. Thereby make it so you can't receive the code by email. Right clicking on the link and choosing open in new tab or new page or anything like that just opens this giveaway page again. This is probably what everyone is talking about when they say the link doesn't work, not link in email but on page to get email.

Did you look over my moderator comment at the top of these comments? There has already been 6000 keys given away. The problem lies with the community members computers and not the giveaway site. there is something blocking the link. check your event logs to see if there are any messages related to the issue. hopefully you'll find something that will clear up the problem. Please do let us know if you do get the key code sent to your email. When using other browsers other than internet explorer, you still need I.E. to be set to online not offline working.

Hi Samantha, please read my two comments at the top of the page. The moderator comment explains the steps you need to follow to get the key and somewhere in the review (see the installation section) it tells you how to redeem the key that should be sent to your email if you follow the instructions I gave. Please note that there is NO download directly from this site. The main game is a 'Free to Play' game that you install via your Steam client. You need to go to the Steam store page for 'Forge of Gods' HERE, and click on the 'Play' button. If you haven't already done this, when you click on play an installation window will open, allowing you to install the game. Once installed you can then add the key that hopefully you will find once you follow the instructions I gave in my moderator comment.

Hello, i entered my email id and received a personal download link, on clicking the link it doesn't download the game.
I got the key, but the download link doesn't work.
Can the GAOTD people fix this. The game looks good.

I've been at this for 30 minutes now. It says the base game is free, you sign in a second time and there IS NO DOWNLOAD BOX. Only a play it free now.
I've done everything I was instructed to do. The game offered today doesn't show up on my steam account. It says I need the base game. How in Gods name do you get the base game? And is this going to take another 30 minutes?

Go to the Forge of Gods Store page (I've linked to it in my other reply to your other comment). To get any free to play game on steam, all you do is click on the Play button, that you'll find on the Store page. That will bring up an installation window. Install the game then you can activate the dlc.

Almost 3000 licenses have already been sent out to community members, I applied for mine about 30 minutes after the pack went live and received a key via my email within seconds. You must be doing something wrong not to have received a key. Some browsers do seem to have problems. I used Waterfox this morning.

Dython, managed to get the download link through IE, cause i tried everything i could think of, using CHROME, and even after disabling all AD blockers and AV ,still was getting direct to this same page.
All good now, pack installed and playing it.

There's nothing wrong with the link. Almost 3000 community members have already been sent a key for this dlc. If there was a problem with the link, no one would have received a key yet. I got mine at around 9.30am a few seconds after I completed filling in my name and email where I wanted the key sent to. Try using a different browser as there has been reports of problems with at least one.

Skybase, the game is a Free to Play game that you download via your Steam client. Navigate to the Forge of gods Store page HERE (though I'd do it via your Steam client rather than your browser) and click on the Play button. This will install the game, then you can input the Steam code you've received. If the free to play game isn't tied to your account, which it won't be until you've clicked on the play button, the Steam code for the dlc won't work. Once the main game is tied to your account then you can input the code.

Thanks Moderator, I see you've posted more in depth instructions at the beginning. VERY GOOD IDEA! I'm sure these will help a great deal. I'm not sure I'll like the game, I'm just going through this to see if one of these days I'll be able to download these steam games without it taking half a morning and higher blood pressure. I'll take the blame for my slow learning curve. May I suggest though that in the future whenever you're offering a Steam game to go through the same detailed instructions at the beginning. When I have a chance I'll go through everything again with your new instructions.

The Steam code is not given on the game giveaway page. Once you've logged into your Steam account, you should be returned to the giveaway page where you will then get a page with two fields to fill in one is for the email you want your steam code to be sent to and the other is your name. Once completed, you should get a message saying a code has been sent to your email. I received a code seconds after I'd completed the process.
