No, the giveaway ended weeks ago. However, if you completed all of the tasks on the day but never received a key, send a screehn capture of the completed tasks with the email and name you used to enter the key giveaway via the contact form,m which I've linked to via my review at the top opf these comments. The link is in the firse three paragraphs before the actual game review starts.

If you've previously signed in with a different emal account, you may find a key was sent to that account and not the one you used on the day because the giveaway project keeps the first email used on record and all keys are sent to that email. I had the same problem when Steam keys were first given away, and it took several games before I found out.

If you completed all of the tasks and didn't receive a key, I suggest you contact the giveaway team via the contact link HERE, providing evidence that you completed the tasks. Use a screenshot showing the completed tasks, which you can upload to a free image hosting site like Photobucket - (you will need to create a free account to upload to Photobucket) or PostImage - (no need to create an account); then send the image link together with the name and email you used to enter the giveaway. If you've previously used other emails to log into the comments section and/or other giveaway competitions or giveaways there is a possibility that the key was sent to one of those emails (assuming you did). If you've used a throwaway email before, that is where the key may have been sent to.

The key should have been sent to the email you used when filling in the form. If you haven't received it make sure you've checked other emails that you may have used to sign into the comment section previously becasue the giveaway team use the first email used. if this was a throwaway email, thats where the key may have been sent to. I will endevour to moderate in the morning before the giveaway ends, just in case there are any community members having problems. Because we have been forced to change the way comments are shown, i.e. when the site was updated last March, everyone could see your comments before they were moderated. This has led to Trolls posting stupid and often very disturbing and disgusting comments that everyone could see until I'd moderated them. It has now been changed back to how it used to be,

i.e. comments can only be seen by the poster until moderated.

The drawback now is that if someone posts a comment asking for help and I've gone to bed, no one will see the comment usually until it is too late to do anything about it. I suggest therefore, if anyone does have problems, they also post a comment in the Game discussion forums. I've created a thread specific for this purpose, which you can access HERE. Thank you once again for the Giveaway of the Day.

The game: "Forge of Gods" is an excellent game in which you can spend a lot of time (if you want).

The aim of the game is to make more and more creatures increasingly strong.

The DLC helps especially new players, who have not yet such strong creatures in the game and facilitates the entrance immensely.

It is my opinion one of the best free to play games. You can, of course, also invest money to accelerate its progress, but of course you have to make depending on your money bag. However, it is possible to achieve everything without the use of money.

Whoever wants to play the game or has been around for a long time, should secure this great giveaway.

I hope my English was not so bad and you could understand me.

Apparently there is no need to download anything here (apparently I need only be logged in to Steam and share something), but am not at all clear on the instructions for how to obtain the key. Found this via the FreeGamesOnSteam Reddit. Normally, when I find something there that interests me and I go for it, I see some sort of a box with a bunch of actions that need doing (such as joining a group on Steam, entering my email, etc). However, I'm not seeing anything of the sort here, and I'm not seeing anything with instructions for what to do in order to get this freebie.

Then click on the next large green button that says Download now Forge of gods: Beauties and the Beast, above the green button it will give the number of keys left. 3) ... When you click on that button you should be taken to a page that says ''To get game key, please authorize through Steam''. Click on the orange lettered Steam, which takes you to a browser version of Steam. 4) ... sign into your account. You'll probably have to get an authorisatiuon code via your email to sign in. 5) ... Once you've signed in you are returned to the giveaway page where it should say:

Fill in the form with your name and email then do the reCAPTCHA then click on the Green 'Get the Key' button. That's it. you should get a key sent to your email.

I do have memory problems due to opiate prescription meds and a serious head injury so may have missed a step between 2 and 3. Not quite sure whether you have a couple of simple tasks to perform. If you do, they are self explanatory

Thanks, GGOTD for all you offer. This isn't my kind of game but I look forward to future offerings.

While this DLC pack will not give anyone a huge advantage right off the bat, it will eventually prove very useful for those who are able to evo these creatures.

3 of them are lvl 5 - Gold-o-tron, Shadow Walker, and Centaur
The other 3 are lvl 3

Gold-o-tron is a Human Defender and at lvl 5 assists Friendly Female creatures by blocking 100% damage with a 40% chance. When maxed out at 7 Stars he will block 100% on attack.

Centaur is a Beast Defender and increases Friendly Female Creatures Attack for 50% at lvl 5. When maxed out at 7 Stars, he will increase their attack for 140%.

The other "new" creature is the Orge Ghost. Comes as a lvl 3 in this pack. Demon Ranged and decreases Enemy HP for 35% on Attack. When Maxed out at 6 stars, decreases Enemy HP for 80%

So it is a nice pack, and especially nice when free!


Also, Forge of Gods is currently running an in-game Bundle where you get another lvl 5 Gold-o-tron And Centaur, so if you have the 999 gems to spend in-game - you can evo them both up to lvl 6 very quickly. Other evo material needed for the evos are readily available in-game. These creatures are also to be available in the current Tournament Crypt during the Valentine's Tournament. After that they will be available in the Amber and Ruby crypts in-game.

Thank you for the excellent feedback. I think it deserves a free Steam key from the ones I've posted over in the forums. See the end of my review for details. If you choose a key from the second list, it may take longer to get the keys to you because I've misplaced the document that has all of the keys recorded, but I will hopefully find it. soon. :) Once you've chosen what game you want, I'll email it to you. Post in the thread where the list is located. You'll find a link near the bottom of my review.

Although not really my type of game I sometimes play the free game on Steam, due to the giveaways here I got a nice collection of DLC for free. If you like turn based games I would definitely try this out. The good thing about this is that the game is free and on Steam thus yours to keep, even after a system crash. Even if you currently don't have much playtime or maybe you have a lack of drive space it is worth picking this up. You can install it anytime if you just make sure to activate your key today.

As for the game itself, it is not hard to get into. move your tea, of creatures along the path, attack everything on your path, including chests and bushes. Grow your creatures and evolve them. The offered DLC gives you extra and special creatures and they tend to give away DLC on a regular basis on sites like this. If you are a bit like me you install and play the game, then put it away for a few months to return to it on later times. I got a whole bunch of free games on Steam like this. Since they are on Steam they don't need to be installed in order to keep them and when I return to a game my progress is still there even if there have been years in between.

Please only post comments about today's game giveaway; other comments either not appropriate, or not about the game will be deleted at the moderator or administrators discretion; however a little light banter among community members and with the moderator to keep this a friendly place to visit is acceptable and welcomed. All comments not specifically about today's game giveaway will be judged by the moderator and if deemed not appropriate, will be deleted with no explanation.

I am posting this in light of the massive increase in negative comments not related to the game being given away, inappropriate comments and spam (Almost 700 spam comments were posted over a 24 hour period last month ) that have occurred over the past several months since the site was updated and in particular since the site started using Facebook, Twitter and Steam

The giveaway at my request have just implemented a VPN blocker, so those Trolls posting stupid and inappropriate comments will no longer be seen before moderation has taken place.

I believe if we get lots of decent feedback about the games we get here, more developers will be happy to give away their games. Seeing lots of complaints (and spam) instead of feedback about the giveaways will not persuade other developers to give their creations away for free. So please bear this in mind when posting your comments. Any comment not about the game for example complaints, or if deemed unfriendly or inappropriate, will be deleted (usually with no explanation) or added to the spam folder, which automatically black lists the IP address you used. Although I have enjoyed responding to many of those comments, I will no longer waste my time answering comments from community members who should have read the moderation policy.

Negative feedback about the games given away will always be welcomed because they can also be very constructive for developers, however, complaining about the way the site is operating or problems about downloading or installing the games or about Steam keys not received should be directed to the giveawayoftheday contact form (with evidence of completed tasks if needed). I've linked to the contact form HERE; alternatively, if the problem is game related and it is late in the day (I can't moderate 24 hours a day), please also post your issue in the forums where you may get a response from the community. Giving such feedback instead of saying nothing or just saying this game is rubbish may bring more developers to the site, which could mean more and better games. would you give away thousands of copies of a game away to a community that complains all the time instead of giving useful feedback. We've so far been given seven of them (some are no longer available via the Steam store for example the Forest Rage, Infernal War Pack, Winters Gasp and Green Packs). Installation:

You have to install the main game Forge of Gods via your Steam client first. if you don't have a Steam account you will first have to download and install the Steam client via THIS link, then create a Steam profile. Once that has been completed you can install the main game free of charge (because the main game is Free to Play), then input the Steam code that you've received (after completing the form filling) via the game button along the top of the Steam client. From the drop down menu select Activate a product on Steam (see image below)

Then follow the various prompts. Once the steam code has been accepted the dlc pack will be permanently associated with your steam account.

I rarely play such games as Forge of Gods, but the time I've spent playing it so far I've actually really enjoyed playing it and would recommend the game to anyone, even without the extra dlc's. So far we have been given four of these dlc's with two more available, we may be seeing more in the not too distant future (fingers crossed). Rewards are gained during and at the end of every battle, game play is very easy to pick up, though as you build up your army you'll need to use your head to decide which creatures in your army you'll use in the many battles that await you. If you enjoy strategy and multiplayer games this is a game you will probably enjoy.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Panoramik for giving us yet another of the dlc packs i.e. the Twilight Destroyers dlc pack for Forge of Gods, and also to the game giveaway team, as always, for providing a safe environment to download free games.

I've posted a list of over 100 Steam games in the forums HERE, some of which I will giving away to those community members who post decent feedback for the game given away that day. It is quite an extensive list of games taken from the 10 000+ Steam keys I've collected over the last several years; all were either purchased by me, or received free for pre-ordering games on Steam, plus a few from entering competitions and other offers). There will be a limited number of other keys available, such as Origin, uPlay and Desura keys (Desura has recently been purchased following the original owners demise and should be up and running by the end of March). I will announce the winner's from the giveaway the following week. If no announcement is made, it means no one posted feedback that qualified for a free game that week. There were no winners from the previous two weeks, though I am still considering a couple of comments from last week. I will inform those community members if I decide they are worth a game by email. If you have won a game, I will also post details in the thread I've created specifically for that purpose HERE. Once I've given a key away, the game and any comments by the winner will be removed from the list.

Depending on the quality of the feedback, I may choose to award games to more community members for each game given away, 'at my discretion'.
