Jenny Lane, Check the email you signed in with. The key should have been sent to that email. I've not entered it as I already have this game plus I'm away from home, so the giveaway wouldn't recognise my IP address. don't want to mess my credentials up. The giveaway team have made it almost impossible for community members to farm keys by restricting the email, FB account Twitter etc. Try using a second one and it will block the attempt to get a key from the new credentials. Make sure you check the original email you used a sthat is the one the giveaway team have on record.

This offer is one of the so-called "tombola's" and it will run for an additional 6 days after which 50 lucky winners will be chosen that get a key. The more entries you have, the bigger the chance to win obviously. Get back each day to earn a few extra entries. Once the time is up it will take a few hours before the list with winners is posted in the same place as where the tasks are listed now and winners will find an email with a key for the game in their email. Add that key to your Steam Client using the "add a game-->Activate a product on Steam" option bottom left of the client

Mark, there's no winning involved. This is a global giveaway, which means everyone who completes the tasks will get a key, that is until all the keys have been given away. So long as you complete the tasks, you should get a key, which will be sent to the email you originally signed in with. Using a different email will still allow you to enter, but keys will always be sent to the original email you signed in with when you first signed in, whenever that was. The giveaway team have that on record. This is a security measure to stop community members from applying for multiple keys.

Apparently there's 50 keys to be "won" and (right now) 9226 total entries... even with (let's say) ~20 entries per person, this means there's a lot more people than keys. If it's a first-come-first-served basis, as you seem to imply, then that would mean that by now all keys have already been assigned, and the remainder of this giveaway is just misleading, as anyone who enters now, stands zero chance of getting any keys.

That is correct, there are 50 keys to be won, however the winners are picked randomly after the end of the giveaway (on 2017-04-17). The more entries you have, the more chances you have to find yourself among the winners.

Thanks for the clarification. So Whiterabbit-uk was wrong, and there definitely IS "winning" involved. So this isn't a giveaway, it's more like a lottery...

Anonymous, At the time of writing (while I was away from home), I though this was a global giveaway. Arrived home to find there were only 50 keys available. Can't be right all the time. I still maintain that this is a giveaway, at least to those that get a key. :)

Robert Marquardt, Hi Robert, I've also had this problem. There are a couple of things you could try, both of which worked for me on different occasions. Try using a different browser, for example I usually use Waterfox, but it won;t let me use FB or Twitter, so I go to Internet Explorer, but that one sometimes says there's an error so i then try Chrome. Also I turn off all, security temporarily as one of them blocks the Twitter authentication. Once I did the above I was able to complete all tasks. I'm not actually applying for a key for this game because I already have the game (purchased it on release), plus I'm using my sisters network at the moment as I'm still away from home.

Also Nibo posted the following in reply to Heavy Water ...........................since few weeks GOTD has problems with twitter if you are logged in with facebook. This works for me: Logout here from facebook and login with twitter.
