Conclusion:
The game is also available on Steam, though it's called The FireLord as opposed to Firelord Area. The thing that worries me about the game is that the Steam version (released 22 Nov 2020) which to all intents and purposes is the same game as todays giveaway (that was released approx March 2019) is quoted as being developed by
MyDreamForever_Old and Not Ashoot. So, are the games made by the same developer using two different names; and is the Steam version an updated version of todays giveaway?
Notes on Security

I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found zero hits from 60 antimalware engines.

Doesn't work on my Win XP SP3 32 bit machine. I may have to stop testing, we'll see. There was a trickle of these that actually did work for me, generating false hope, but those seem to be few and far between. Not a problem, I was so used to games only being on weekends anyway. Or maybe I'll just try the few we get on the weekday that aren't from Ashoot. A couple of those worked, but almost none of Ashoot's do. As I say, not a problem. Not trying to be a choosy beggar.

As to the "pedigree" of Ashoot offerings - Falcoware I guess is just providing the installer? none of Ashoot's games appear on their site - I'm a little bit hampered here, since I didn't know that the project had gone back to day games for quite awhile after it started back, so missed many. And I gave up after awhile because there was a problem with the first installer: wouldn't even install on XP 32 bit. Now the installer works fine, just not all the games are compatible. I mention this because you might try and assess the games' origins by their style - developers sometimes have what you might call a "signature style", but I haven't seen or tried enough of Ashoot's to know. A couple of games whose origins were questioned recently, including this one, seem to not reflect the others we've seen recently from this developer, but, again, I don't have enough experience to know. However, some who do may be giving these an odd look. Having a feeling though that there's not much that can be done about it, so we might just have to swallow any reservations.

Does bring up another question though. Since I've missed so many of these, has Ashoot ever even appeared on this forum? If so, you'd think Ashoot would appear now to respond. If Ashoot's never bothered to appear here, or doesn't even bother to look here, then that's not a valid test. Oh well.

watcher13,

Thanks for your feedback, Watcher. I don't think I've ever seen the developer appear here. But Falcoware do often post comments.

Sorry to hear most of the weekday games don't work on your machine. :(

Whiterabbit-uk, Whiterabbit-uk, Thanks WR, but it's no big deal. One of these days, I'll fix one of my newer machines. "One of these days". :P

watcher13,

You sound just like me. I have several older computers mainly dual core, with a couple of second generation i7's up in the spare room that I keep meaning to sort out (all just need a little work either reinstalling the operating system or replacing some burnt out RAM. My intention has always been to install various older operating systems, at least one DOS 3.1, a Win 95 and/or 98 and an XP so that some of my older games will be playable again; as well as creating a server with one of the better machines, so that I can play some of the older FPS games such as Men of Valor, Battlefield Vietnam or the early Call of Duty games with friends.
