In Brief:
The action takes place in a world of flying islands. The aim of the game is to extinguish any fires that break out on the islands as well as save people and participate in the occasional race using the available air currents. Because the islands are floating, it is only possible to accomplish firefighting using hot air balloons.


Care needs to be taken when dropping foam onto fires as you may use it all up before extinguishing all the fires that you need to stop to complete the mission; there is an indicator on the left of the game screen that shows how much foam you have left. There are no left or right controls to move the balloon and it's not possible to reverse the balloon; you can only move forwards using available air currents. Apart from the first two levels, which act as a tutorial, there only appears to be seven more levels to complete, unless these several levels are introductory levels and a new set of levels are unlocked once all nine levels are completed; though, there's no indication that this is so. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to explore all nine, so am only suggesting there may be more.

Once you've accomplished the required number of fires extinguished, you have to land your balloon using the appropriate keys (see key bindings below); if you fail to extinguish a specific number of fires before arriving back at your base, you fail the level. Stars are awarded depending on how many fires you managed to extinguish. Later levels i.e., from level 4 introduces you to competing against another balloonist.

You have to complete a level (labelled Scenes) before you can move onto the next scene. Use the arrow keys or move your pointer in a sweeping motion to scroll through the different levels. scenes.

Key Bindings:

W or Up Arrow = turn on flame to rise
S or down arrow = allow hot air to escape balloon to reduce altitude
space bar = drop foam

Conclusion:
A short but mildly entertaining game, with pleasant graphics. I only played the first few levels, so cannot say how long each of the later levels are. It's not a game I'd play for more than a short break. Judging by the number of levels, you could probably complete this in well under an hour. Still, it's worth downloading.
