Find it for a living - a survival game in which you have to get off the island. It is uninhabited, but you got there for a reason. In fact, you should fix the ship and get out of there unscathed. You need to find all the materials throughout the island, while inspecting and studying the locations and your camp. Use an ax to cut trees, collect stones, repair the ship and escape the island forever.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale...a tale of a fateful trip. Oh wait, wrong island to escape from, and no professor who can make a nuclear reactor from a couple of coconuts ;) This is a first person view survival game made with unity where you have to explore the island to find all of the materials you will need to repair your ship, and then escape. First person view means that the player IS the camera, or to simplify, The camera IS the player - think doom, wolfenstein 3d etc without the shooting. The upper right display shows the number of wood (use an axe to cut trees) and stones to collect and press E to pick up the stone making sure the # cursor is right on the stone first. Some are slightly hidden under trees so you might need to use the mouse to change your view. Upon completion in about 30 mins or so, the ship sailed away without doing anything to fix it once I collected everything and played a short guitar. Yes if I had to stay on an island with no wildlife, only one single bird that always uses the same call, and no ginger or mary anne I too would want to get off the island as soon as possible... As a demo or start to a more complete game this is a ok start but this is no johnny castaway island that will keep you entertained. Rating: Consolation Prize.

Hi Whiterabbit-UK and everyone else I hope all of you are doing well. I tried to give today's game a try and while I am able to move around the field and explore things, I find myself unable to collect stones or wood. If you post later on in the day today I may update my take on this but for now I have put the game down due to not being able to figure things out.

sailorbear510 aka Jason, to collect stones, when you're close to, and looking at the stone, text should pop up saying something like, "collect stone." Press E to then collect the stone. When you're near trees press the left mouse button multiple times to collect wood. There's no indication that that swinging the axe with the LMB is actually doing anything. I won't spoil how to actually finish the "game." It took me longer to install the game and figure out the controls than to actually play this one.

I normally never comment on the games in here - and I certainly don't want to be negative when someone has given me something for free. But honestly - just skip this one. There is no gameplay, awful graphics, quirky controls and really no point.. Even the name is wrong, I suppose it should have been "Find it to survive", but I don't know.
You've been warned.

I'm not going to be able to update this today, yesterdays electricity outage at my home left us wit a lot of unfinished business, which I'm catching up on today. Unfortunately I'm not going to have enough time to play the game, then post my feedback. sorry..

Whiterabbit-uk, I hope all goes well. BTW, once I figured out the controls, total gameplay was maybe 5 minutes. I suspect it would take longer to write up your typical in-depth review (for which I'm grateful) than to play this one.
