Fighters Unleashed

In Brief

Fighters unleased is a ‘Beat ‘Em Up’ game. You can upgrade your attacks by spending the gold that you earn by winning fights. You start out with 600 gold, which is enough to upgrade your fighting skills to level 9. Each level is quite large, with you walking from the left to the right, fighting any groups that you encounter. There are three difficulty levels and you can set the graphic quality from the initial configuration window that pops up when you first boot the game up.

Key Bindings
I = Punch
O = kick
Space = Jump
WASD = movement
There's suposed to be a supercharge, but I've not figured out how or where it is yet. Maybe you have to keep the I and/or O depressed for a specific time for it to activate?
As a Beat ‘Em Up games go, Fighter’s Unleashed is okay; though, don’t expect title's like Mortal Combat, Shenmue or the excellent 3D Zeno Clash. The number of attacks are quite limited with only a kick and a punch available; though jumping expands the arsenal a little. Still, it’s worth keeping if you don’t have many Beat ‘Em Up games in your library.

The latest game from Epic is the excellent Lovecraftian Steam punk roguelike and atmospheric top down RPG Sunless Sea; i.e. Take the helm of your steamship and set sail for the unknown! Sunless Sea is a game of discovery, loneliness and frequent death, set in the award-winning Victorian Gothic universe of Fallen London, with 84% of over 6000 community reviews giving it a positive thumbs up. Definitely a game worth having, especially if you like any of the descriptive words I've used to describe this game, and, more importantly for free; usually costs £13.99. There is a dlc for the game available called Zubmariner, which isn't free (I think)? This Thursday 4th March the free game changes to the excellent RTS game Wargame: Red Dragon
