Having fun playing and just reached the 4 star mark when BAM! game disappeared, closed, and left desktop distorted. Restarted and I get the welcome screen - all my hard work lost. I know it was free but it still pissed me off. I uninstalled immediately.

thanks for the game! I got through the "bug" on level8 thingy, I re-did the level a couple of times, and it finally "accepted" that it was finished and continued. My DD did the same. You DO lose a few "lives", but no problem.
I AM having trouble getting past the next levels, but that's me,.. he he,... I tend to favour these types of games, so thanks.
I'm now going to install Jane's Hotel...yay!

This is a great little game, challenging your observation and reflexes.

It's a great relief to show my wife I'm capable of finding a game on the 'net that doesn't involve killing things.

Great stuff!

Thank you for finally putting up a non-shoot-'em-up or action-figure-like game! Keep up the awesome work, and keep up the variety!

Thanks!

this game worked good until you get to the second girl on level 9 i think you cant beat this level even after all the blue squares are gone it doesnt let u win so basically your game is over after this point

Mediocre art, typos (as seen in the third screenshot) and the gameplay is nothing special. Hardly worth ten dollars, definitely not twenty.
Maybe other little girls will like it but I know a 9 year old who wouldn't want it even if it was free.

I've played this game before and for those who like match 3 games, this one is a good one to keep your attention for a couple of days. You know how these games are, you always find yourself saying, "One more level and then I'm done!" Definitely not the most innovative, but it's worth downloading.

This game installed and registered perfectly the first time. It's a simple, but fun match 3 game. Great for kids or even some adults. Not everyone likes a shoot-em-up-kill game...so this is for you! It was worth the download...Thanks for the game!!!!

I have Vista Home Premium. I don't usually have a problem getting a program from here to activate properly.

I first followed the directions, by using activate to extract, then activate to activate, and lastly setup to install. Got the 60 day message.

Then I tried running activate again. Still got the message.

Then I ran it as administrator. Still got the message.

Then I uninstalled, and reran as the first time, but as administrator. Still got the message.

Starting from the desktop shortcut still gets the message.

Argh!

I cannot activate this in order to run the setup. I use WinXP and a proxy server and have already disconnected the proxy as usual. Most games will install with no problem but this gives me an error report. I have no idea how to fix this...any suggestions??? Thanks for any help.

I was really glad to see that it was not another space game or RPG. I like match 3 games and was happy to see one. I admit the "goal" is a bit shallow but it's a GAM and like 54 I really don't bother with the story.

Thank you GFOTD for remembering that we don't all like the same things.

Mind you, I don't somplain simply becuase it's FREE- I can download it, try it and either keep it or delete it.

Thanks for all of the games!

Thanks for the fun game. It's fun even though it's probably meant for younger people. Activating it first and then installing works. Thanks again. I love puzzle games!

#42 - That quite possibly is the solution to the problem others are seeing. I've seen that before myself and I make it a practice NEVER to start a product from the install but rather manually AFTER the fact.

I did get around to actually playing it. Some have complained about the "shallowness" of the game. So what?!? I don't even pay any attention to what's going on around the game itself. I just match 3 and ignore the story line.

YES! I like puzzle games and the "theme" is the least important part of the game. The actual play is far more important.

It just won't work for me.... anyone else?

The game installed and uninstalled just fine. I occasionally play match 3 games, but the message this one sends is just so horrible that I do not want to play it, let alone let anybody young enough to be impressed by it near it.

Hehe gotta try this one! A GIRL'S GAME FOR ONCE! Nice change from all the games that are mostly guy-oriented games! Although guys do seem to dominate the comments and forums here, I'm sure there are some other girls here too, besides me!

The game downloaded and installed fine on both my xp desktop and my Vista laptop. It looks like a simple fun game, the kind I enjoy playing when I want to play something that isn't super cerebral, where I can relax and have some easy fun.

One beef I have with games is that I wish they didn't mostly run in full window. Its rare that a game lets you run it in less than a full window, and I like to run a game so I can still see my taskbar and information from monitoring and weather programs running in the background.

BTW, @ the developer, being a girl who also likes and keeps snakes, I loved your little snake on your logo too! I want to turn him into an icon! (so few good snake icons around & I've been trying to learn to make my own!)

Thanks GAOTD & Gambana!

Thanks for today's twist on a match-3 game, I am passing on this one today - I have others that I enjoy and the fashion theme is just not for me. Looks great for the younger crowd, so I already forwarded the GGAOTD link to my brother to download for 9 year old niece. THANKS!

The other thing that I have seen is if you launch the game from the set-up screen you may get the demo version instead of the full version. If you 'uncheck' the "launch game now" (one of the last boxes during the install process) you may/should get the full version. You then start the game from the desktop icon. It's worth a try. :)

Downloaded and installed with no problems. For those having problems, try the following procedure:
1. After downloading the zip file, double-click 'activate' and then, when it asks, click 'extract all'.
2. Then you have to double-click 'activate' again .
3. Now double-click set-up.
This should install the game.

This is a match 3 game and I am a match 3 fan. This is not one of my favorites but it is playable. It is much more suited for the younger crowd and girls specifically. I am not sure how long I will keep this one, I wasn't going to download it at all but with all those having problems I thought I would see what I could do to help. :)

I was able to fix the 60 minute problem by uninstalling the game and then running the activate as administrator...if you don't run as administrator, it gives you the demo only. Read what TK said if you want explanation why.

For those of you who are getting the 60 minute trial message - did you run activate.exe BEFORFE you installed? The instructions clearly say to do it in this order and that is typical of all GOTD products with a separate activate program.

I am not on full screen and it seems to work (I haven't actually played it yet) on my Vista Ultimate SP1 - without any trial message!

It's not a good sign when the graphic from the program on the GOTD page has a grammatical error in it! "Now will go to the beauty shop." It should be "Now, we'll go to the beauty shop."

Even though I followed your instructions for activating before setup, it only gave me the 60 min demo and no, not a magic 60 minutes that doesn't go down. Is there an activation key that we can put into the activate prompt of the game?

Those with Vista in any variant having trouble getting this or most other games to activate properly... Run Avtivate.exe as an administrator and it will then be able to place the registration data in the registry in the correct location so the game can find it at run time.

Isn't it about time that Activate.exe requests Elevation on Vista platforms when it places data in the HKLM or similar branch of the registry? It can be done without breaking earlier windows version compatability you know!

Oddly enough I downloaded this for my 70 something year old mother who constantly switches between Bejeweled, Bookworm, Solitare and Mahjong. She enjoys playing puzzle games, but even with High Quality Graphics and the full screen setting, the icons on this one are just too tiny, so it will be far too difficult for her to see and enjoy. And to be honest, her eyes may be bad but her mind is sharp as a tack, so I can't imagine her spending much time playing this one anyway. In all reality, it probably really is better suited to a very young girl.

Plus...I have the same problem. It will not properly activate, so unless the "60 Minutes Remaining" countdown remains magically locked on 60 minutes forever...it is just a trial.

Thanks for the giveaway though. She loves having new games to try out regularly, and I love being able to get them from a trusted source for free!

This is not such a bad game. It is pretty simple and the graphics are not overwhelming but it is nice to play it for a while.
And lets not forget it is free!
I like three in a row games and this one installs ok and runs very fast too. The music is a bit boring.
It is more my taste then the space combat games from the past weeks!
Thanks again GOTD

Out of curiousity about the activation problem many of you mentioned, i tried playing the game for about 10 minutes. When I was done, I reopened it and it still said I had 60 minutes of gameplay. looks like those of you who d/led it will just need to put up with that screen at start-up, however the game seems to be activated, and able to be used permenantly.
