Falco Asteroids is not like the arcade game Asteroids flying around in a ship shooting asteroids that break apart into smaller pieces, a well known classic. In Falco Asteroids you fly around in a UFO collecting green clots of energy while avoiding colliding with asteroids. The movement is precise but does not feel like a ship that is flying in space, instead just more like a mouse cursor you are moving that is reskinned.

I would suggest to change green clots of energy to other ships, and have them be disabled so they float around, and in later stages can be destroyed also with a few hits so your score will depend on how many you can save before they are destroyed.

At the moment it reminds me a bit of consumo, an arcade game found within Bully a bit. In that one you get larger as you eat making it harder to avoid obstacles. Perhaps the more you save in this game, the faster your ship gets so you can save more quicker but also more perilous to avoid asteroids as another thought.
