Please only post comments about today's game giveaway; other comments either inappropriate, or not about today's game will be deleted at the moderator or administrators discretion; however a little light banter among community members and with the moderator to keep this a friendly place to visit is acceptable and welcomed. All comments not specifically about today's game giveaway will be judged by the moderator and if deemed not appropriate, will be deleted with no explanation. Please see the end of this review for further details about posting comments and links to the teams contact, moderation policy and the FAQ's thread, thank you.

The giveaway at my request have just implemented a VPN blocker, so those Trolls posting stupid and inappropriate comments will no longer be seen before moderation has taken place.

Exterios

In Brief

Exterios is an underground base buried 300Km below the surface. It is an atmospheric first person shooter with various puzzles. Use items and weapons to solve these puzzles and kill zombies and robots.

Suggestions:

Whether you like or dislike Exterios please give some feedback about your opinion of today's giveaway, for example, what you liked or disliked about the game, and how it could be improved from your point of view. If you don't like this genre at all, please explain why. Would certain improvements change your opinion? There are thousands of subscribers to the game giveaway of the day every weekend which makes this an ideal forum for giving developers ideas as to what their consumers (i.e you) would like to see in a game. For example, you could suggest extra content such as better or more original mini games, or a level editor that you would like to see that would make it more appealing to you. Maybe you think the graphics are a little dated and are in need of re skinning, or maybe you've just had enough of the genre and want to see something different or something with more originality? Are there enough weapons and was it hard to find enough ammo to survive this game? Giving such feedback instead of saying nothing or just saying this game is rubbish or or one word positive comments may bring more developers to the site, which could mean more and better games. Would YOU give away thousands of copies of a game (or extra content for a game) to a community that complains all the time instead of giving useful feedback? At the very least it need only take a few moments of your time. This site could be transformed if only the community would be more forthcoming in their opinions of the games they are getting for free instead of complaining about the way this site has changed or that they don't like Steam games. If something isn't for you then move on to the next giveaway, or check out the extra's section at the end of this review; you never know, you may find something that interests you.

If you miss today's giveaway Exterios you can always get the game via MyPlayCity 24/7 HERE.

Installation:

Exterios downloads to a 125 MB zip file that unzips to three files, (a setup.gcd security wrapper, the set up file and a read me). Those with multiple hard drives are able to save games on any drive they wish. The newly installed game is 280 MB in size. The game installs to the following path by default, but can be changed by the user if you prefer:

C:\Program Files (x86)\MyPlayCity.com\Exterios

Four shortcuts are installed to the desktop, three of which can be safely deleted (Play Online Games, MyPlayCity Games and shortcuts to a free online game which vary each week). Also, if you don't like icons installed to the quick launch task bar, make sure you uncheck the box when the additional tasks window appears (after the Select Start Menu Folder window)

The Game:

Find out the shocking truth about a mysterious place buried deep within the earths crust and attempt to survive Exterios! Are you afraid of the darkness? If not then go ahead and travel to the future. In 2127 immortality becomes the main goal that humanity wishes to achieve. The scientific community are attempting to create a cyborg, with the brain of a human implanted into the body of a robot.

Exterios is an underground scientific base where experiments on merging human brains and the body of machines are taking place. One night all communications with the base is lost and the only access to the surface via elevators are out of order. You are one of the volunteers and you wake up in a recovery chamber.

Explore the base and find out what has happened. Initially, you wander around empty darkened rooms, then the first signs of blood appear, which make you realize something awful has happened, then the bodies start to appear, laying in pools of their own blood. Some have survived the carnage only to become zombies, whose sole purpose seems to be to kill you
.

Search the empty rooms carefully and open the boxes to find weapons. You wont survive without these. To progress you will not only be required to kill all zombies that you come across, but you will have to solve the various puzzles that you find. Not all exits from a room are obvious. secret doors lead to new rooms. Robots will also attack you. Bullets are at a premium, so you will need to be sparing with them; i.e. make every bullet count.

exterios 010

exterios 011

There is a large number of rooms and corridors in Exterios, and it is very easy to get lost Thankfully, there is a white ghost like figure that occasionally appears and points the correct way for you. So, go wander the dark corridors,, explore the mysterious labs full of dead bodies and the the abandoned rooms. Do your utmost to survive Exterios!

Other Reviews and Videos of Exterios:

If you want to play the game before installing it, you can find in on Kongregate HERE, though you do require a Unity plug-in and Adobe flash player installed before you can play it. You can see some community reviews of Exterios HERE, just scroll down the page to see the reviews.

if you want to see some game play you can see some videos of game play ( there weren't many videos available so I've included some that start with an advert. You just have to wait 5 seconds then you can skip the ads. HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE

exterios 012

exterios 013

Conclusion:

A reasonable FPS game especially for free, though it did give me a little motion sickness after playing the game for half an hour earlier. I did find the game a little tedious after wandering corridors and exploring rooms, many of which looked very similar. But overall a good game worth downloading if you like FPS games. Ammo can be scares so use your weapon effectively and try to not waste bullets. Robots are not easy to destroy with most weapons.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank MyPlayCity for giving away Exterios and also to the game giveaway team, as always, for securing other ways to get free games, in this case Steam keys.

Useful Information not related to today's game giveaway:

The problems section that used to be posted here in the Game review is now included in the Game Discussion FAQ's thread; which you can find HERE.

I've updated the games section that used to be posted with the review. The thread is now called 'Weekly round up of game deals', formerly the games section of the weekly reviews. You can find the new thread (which I've posted in the sticky section of the game discussion forums to make it easier to find if you are perusing the game discussion forums) HERE.

exterios 014

exterios 015

If today's game giveaway 'Exterios' didn't appeal, you may find other games either free or for less than the price of a cup of coffee via the 'Weekly Roundup of Game Deals' thread which I've posted a link to above, or HERE.
The free game over on Origin is still the excellent atmospheric Sci Fi RPG third person Shooter Mass Effect 2, but it will probably be ending soon. If you've still not got a copy, get it now, it's well worth. It usually costs £19.99/$19.99 (though I paid the pre-order price of over £30 prior to it's release back in January 2010) . You can get it HERE. Please note that you do require the Origin game platform to be able to download and install the game.

You will also find lots of deals over on Green Man Gaming and Big Fish Games usually have 70% off the first game you buy from them, plus they also have other deals occasionally. Desura was purchased from Bad Ju Ju games last year by One Play. If you already have a Desura account you can read details of what is happening HERE. As yet you can't access games you previously purchased via Desura (I have around 1400), but One Play are working to recover everyone's accounts and hope to do so by the end of March 2017. Indie Royale will also resume on a weekly basis, though at this time I don't know if previous Indie Royale Greenlight bundles will be honoured? Alawar, Gamehouse and Playrix entertainment have free games available (usually online versions) and other game houses such as the AAA distributors Ubisoft and Origin always have some games on sale. I've updated the Weekly roundup of game deals HERE to include a large list of other sites where you can find games on sale ( e.g. Origin, uPlay, GreenManGaming etc, as well as links to free online games and other game houses such as Alawar, Playrix and Gamehouse plus gaming news sites such as Rock Paper Shotgun and Game Seek, and included a list of free to play Massive Multiplayer games such as World of Tanks, World of Warships, Liberators and Allegiance to name a few. For more details please go to the Weekly roundup of game deals over in the game discussion sticky section HERE.

There are 672 games on sale over on Steam at the moment, with up to 91% off. Game prices range from as little as £0.15p (most of these cheap games are actually cheaper in the UK than the US, so if you are a US citizen and have a UK friend, get them to buy the game for you). There are almost 200 games and dlc less than $1 and almost 250 for less than £1. You can find all of the deals HERE.

If you spend more than $3 in the Indie Gala store you'll also get a free copy of the old school anime rpg '200% Mixed Juice' worth $6.99/£4.99There's 60% off the enhanced version of Dying Light The Following, plus there are loads more deals with excellent discounts that you'll find HERE.

The Humble Bundle site has two excellent bundles plus their monthly package that is excellent value for money. A new monthly bundle has just gone live. There are two game bundles, the Humble Civilization bundle that includes Civilization III, IV, V and 20% off Civilization VI, or 25% off the deluxe version. Plus the ArmA (Armored Assault) bundle that includes all versions of ArmA plus the original Operation Flashpoint which combined with it's expansions (Red Hammer and Resistance) was renamed ArmA: Cold War Assault for the 10th anniversary of the games release back in 2001. The ArmA franchise is my favorite FPS game ever. It's nothing like Call of duty. Arma is a tactical FPS game with realistic tactics. There's no run and gun in this game, you have to really think what you are doing. the environemnts are basically open world and massive. ArmA 3 is amazing, but ArmA II is also brilliant despite being almost 8 years old. The Humble store features loads of discounted games (usually Steam codes). If you subscribe to the Humble Monthly, which costs $12 a month (or less if you choose various monthly plans) you not only get a large collection of decent Steam games you will also get for the first month of the subscription The Witness (worth £29.99), which was released last year (Jan 21016). The great thing is, you can cancel at any time, so only need to receive the first bundle of games. I personally haven't bothered, but only because I usually have already purchased most of the games included in the monthly bundle. The usual savings on the games you get are around 90%, not counting the introductory offer. There's also lots of games on sale over on the Bundle Stars and Indie Game Stand (IGS).

For those who missed out on the Alien Shooter 2 - Conscription giveaway from last month or Zombie Shooter from last October or Alien Shooter 2 - Conscription from last June or Zombie Shooter 2 from last May you can get six games from the series including Alien Hallway, Zombie Shooter 2, Alien Shooter 2: Reloaded, Alien Shooter: Revisited, Alien Shooter and Zombie Shooter for $1.49. HERE. Pay an extra $0.50 and get a second bundle to give to your friends. All keys are Steam based. This offer ends mid March. ;) stores.

Giveaway Team Contact and Moderation policy:

Continued from the first paragraph at the beginning of this review ........... I am posting this in light of the massive increase in negative comments not related to the game being given away, inappropriate comments and spam that have occurred over the past several months since the site was updated and in particular since the site started using Facebook, Twitter and Steam. Almost 700 spam comments were posted over a 24 hour period last month. This is a site that gives free games away, so it's quite shocking to see the number of negative and sometimes inappropriate comments being posted here, especially when they are not even related to the actual game that we receive. I always though getting something for free was a privilege/perk/treat/ and deserves at least some thanks or gratitude and cannot understand why we get so many negative comments that possibly turn away potential developers who would otherwise have given the project their games. Of course we have freedom of speech, but as mentioned in my review above, there are rules to posting in this comments section; even a free society requires rules and regulations to run properly, so please bear this in mind when posting a comment.

I believe if we get lots of decent feedback about the games we get here, more developers would be happy to give away their games. Seeing lots of complaints (and spam) instead of feedback about the giveaways will not persuade other developers to give their creations away for free, especially when they may have spent thousands of hours working on them. So please also consider this when posting your feedback. Any comment not about the game for example complaints, or if deemed unfriendly or inappropriate, will be deleted (usually with no explanation) or added to the spam folder, which automatically black lists the IP address you used. Although I have enjoyed responding to many of those comments in the past, I will no longer waste my time answering comments from community members who should have read the moderation policy.

Negative feedback about the games given away will always be welcomed because they can also be very constructive for developers, however, complaining about the way the site is operating or problems about downloading or installing the games or about Steam keys not received should be directed to the giveawayoftheday team via the contact form together with evidence of completed tasks, the name and email you used to enter the competition, or giveaway). You can find the contact form HERE; alternatively, if the problem is game related and it is late in the day, please also consider posting your issue in the forums where you may get a response from the community because I cannot moderate 24 hours a day. All games given away here have been thoroughly checked using several anti malware suites to ensure a safe download and in the 10 plus years this site has been operating, there has never been a game infected with malware. If your security software flags an issue, it's probably the Themida code that is used to protect the game from hackers or sometimes the non invasive adware that MPC games use. Themida code can also be used to hide malware, so some security software's will automatically block anything with Themida code, even if it's absolutely safe to install; also, other computer configurations (i.e. the way your computer is set up) may have blocked the installation. Often, such problems are related to your computers set up. i.e. your security may block the installation; for example, quite a few game giveaways I've installed have been blocked by my copy of Zemana AntiMalware. Also please read the moderation policy which can be found HERE and if you do have a problem please check the FAQ's thread HERE. Thank you for reading.

FREE game offer from the moderator in exchange for quality feedback:

There were more winners for posting good feedback, which I mentioned in reply to their comments. Some I haven't as yet and those that have won do need to post a comment in the appropriate thread over in the forums with their section of games they wish. First come first served if more than one chooses the same game. If you think you wrote feedback that may win a key from the last two weeks, do please check those comments on Sunday evening/Monday evening to see if I've left a comment letting you know you've won a key. then go to the forums and let me know what you want. I'm hoping to add more games to the list this weekend. That said, I do have multiple keys for some games. , but will be doing over this weekend. Been a little busy since last weekend. One particular community member has excelled and will be receiving yet more keys. He knows who he is I've already given a couple away so far, but I'm still waiting to hear from others.

So far I've posted a list of over 200 Steam games in the forums HERE and will be adding more as time permits over the coming weeks. It is quite an extensive list of games taken from the 10 000+ Steam keys I've collected over the last several years. All keys were either purchased by me, with a few received free for pre-ordering games on Steam, plus a few others for entering competitions and other offers). There will be a limited number of other keys available, such as Origin, uPlay and Desura keys as well as some DRM copies. Desura has recently been purchased following the original owners demise and should be up and running by the end of March. I will announce winner's from each giveaway the following week. If no announcement is made, it means no one posted feedback that qualified for a free game that week. If you have won a game, I will also post details in the thread I've created specifically for that purpose HERE. Once I've given a key away, the game and any comments by the winner will be removed from the list the following week. I will assume if you don't reply within a few weeks you aren't bothered about a key. Please post your preferences (list at least 3 games in order of preference over in the forums HERE. Thank you. Happy gaming.)

Depending on the quality of the feedback, I may choose to award games to more community members for each game given away, 'at my discretion'. The feedback must be about the game, and it must include a couple of paragraphs of feedback following the guidelines I've posted in the suggestions section of my review. i.e. your opinion of the game, what you liked and/or disliked plus suggestions for improvement. If you choose a game that is very cheap I may give you a second game; so, when choosing from the list I provide, please list more than one choice. If a game is chosen by more than one community member and only one key is available the key will go to the one I deem the most useful. I do have multiple keys for quite a lot of the games I've listed, so, don't be put off if you see someone else has chosen the game you want. I haven't indicated any of the games I have multiple keys for (though for example I do have several keys for the excellent Western themed AAA game Call of Juarez, which i picked up for free for purchasing several games via the Indie Gala store several months ago. spending a few dollars got me a copy of the game, so I made several separate purchases over a couple of days while the offer was still live.
I do own at least three community members a game from the previous giveaways that I posted several months ago. I'd totally forgotten about those. I do have a document with their names on, so they will get a game from the original list when I find the document (I'm extremely disorganized); or they can peruse the new list and choose something different. Just post a comment over in the forums in the appropriate thread. If you do post feedback with a view to getting one of the games and think you have covered the requirements, you don't have to do anything until I announce the winners the following week.
Please remember, this comments section is mainly for feedback about today's game giveaway. If you're not sure, read the moderation policy, which you can see HERE

Played the game for a short while and couldn't figure it out so I watched a video, which helped a lot. Got killed a couple of times and had to start over from the beginning so I stopped playing. Will save it for a different day. Liked the FPS since it's a nice change of pace, but would prefer one that allows saving at different points. It is also difficult to see, but that can partly be my age.

Thanks again for the game!

Exterios
A FPS, and full disclosure a genre that I tend to love, and this one from MPC downloaded a bit slow, but installed well like usual from MPC.
Yes a bit darker but these type of games usually are, and it does have some controls in the options to help with that.
Also like how it tells you the controls as you first start playing. A really fun game so far, and yes the interiors start looking a bit same, but didn't all the coolest FPS back in the day have that effect? Some surprising moments a bit deeper into the game, and I won't play spoiler so you will have to find them yourself ;)
A fun not-to-hard game, and Thank you GGAOTD and MPC for these!

I'm awarding you a Steam key of your choice (from the list in the forums) for your continued support. Although each comment does not fulfill all of the requirements I've asked for to win a key, you've consistently posted feedback of a useful nature, so I felt it was worth a Steam key. Check the forum thread for the list of games that you can choose from. Make sure you post a couple just in case your first choice has either already been claimed, or someone else wants it and posted before you. (I do have duplicate keys for quite a few of the games I've posted. Plus I'm sure you are one of the community members i still owe a key to for previous comments last year? So, I will probably give you two keys.

Guess I won't be playing it. I have d./loaded it several times, different browsers and I keep getting "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program". So, looks like I'm done. I hope it's a good one and everyone enjoys the game.

...........................................Moderator comment...................................

This usually happens due to your security becasue the giveaway is wrapped in a themida code to protect it. turning off your security usually cure the problem. some security software blocks themida becasue it can also be used to hide malware, but the giveaway team, who have been operating for over 10 years always check the giveaway files for malware and have never given away a game infected with malware.

Installs and works on Win 7 64-bit. Have no time to play it. From the first few screens the graphics is good. I managed to figure out how to access the Menu. When I press the Tab key to show the items, the regular mouse cursor appears on the screen and it is possible to mouse over to the Menu button and click it. Then a triple choice menu appears in the center of the screen, with "Return to the game", "Return to last checkpoint" (or something like this) and "Exit to Main Menu". If I press Tab without clicking on any choice, I return to the game but the menu remains in the middle of the screen, obstructing the view. The only way to get rid of it is press Tab again and click "Return to the game". The complete lack of any help or instructions is annoying and surprising, given that there are completely free alternatives (eg. Alien Arena, just off the top of my head), that have tutorials and equally good graphics. For a free game, this isn't a bad one, but it's not free normally. Didn't vote on it. Can't give it thumbs down because of graphics and interesting sound effects (if you put headphones on, you may notice that the "scary" background sound moves between the left and right ears, depending on where you turn and how the sound's source is positioned relative to you) but can't give it thumbs up because of lack of any playing instructions.

I'm awarding you a Steam key of your feedback, thank you.

I'm giving a thumb's up, yet not downloading
It looks like a very nice classic FPS - but I have many others to play before I would get to this one.
The graphics look very good, but it's just too template to grab my interest - nothing that makes me go 'Ooh! I need to try this one."

it installed fine, but doesn't tell you how to play the game. I can view where I move the mouse, for the most part, but I don't know how to move or pick up things or what to look for. nothing I click on seems to do anything.

...........................................Moderator comment...................................

When you approach certain objects initially it will tell you what key you need to press, The key bindings are standard FPS key bindings, with WASD for movement, C for crouch, E for action i.e to open a door or pick up a weapon etc. tab enables you to click on the button in the bottom left of the screen. Tab also opens up your items list, which you can scroll by clicking on thr arrows to the left and right of the items bar. Space is jump. The mouse enables you to look around in your environment and when you have a weapon left mouse click will fire it. Right mouse button enables you to zoom. Xilolee also posted some key bindings earlier today.

Hey Wabbit,

The darn forum is censoring me again. I must have posted too many URLs again.
Here is what I posted..Another free steam key:

"Already have this one too. Bloop Reloaded
http://www.indiekings.com/2017/03/free-steam-game-bloop-reloaded.html"

As far as the game, I passed...but I did give it a thumbs up. It's just TOO DARK for me. I am having trouble with my eyes. Getting old is not fun.

Thanks for the game and the review....Huggles to you and your family.

...........................................Moderator comment...................................

Thanks for the link. I really enjoyed playing bloop when it was first released a few years ago, well worth getting if anyone doesn't already have it, a great physics based puzzle game.

I've tried playing this a couple times now, and it seems to work ok, just move too slow and get killed by some zombie I encounter and can't escape from due to the slow walking of my guy. Didn't find anything that I could use as a weapon either, nor have any real clue where I need to go for the most part. Not even a map key so I can see where I've been at least if not the whole thing. A map and some semblance of what the situation is going in, that covers more than the intro read would help understanding the game.

...........................................Moderator comment...................................

I found very little information on the game. I agree that some sort of map would have been very useful. Thanks for your feedback.

Controls are awkward and cannot be configured. It's particularly difficult if your mouse is on the left side of your keyboard.

Please excuse the long wait for moderation. Playing this game left me with a stinking head ache./ Didn't feel like sitting in front of my monitor for several hours afterwards. Something to do with the movement in game I reckon. I've posted details of the key bindings you need to use to play the game in response to Alicia's comment. Xilolee also posted details earlier today.

...........................................Moderator comment...................................

Hi Kim

Your security is probably blocking the installation due to the Themida wrapper. You can either reboot in safe mode with networking then install the game, white list the giveaway files via your security or temporarily turn off your security. the giveaway team have given games away virtually every weekend for over 10 years and have never given away a game that was infected, so it's safe to turn your security off temporarily. The game should install with no problems.

No problems detected after doing pre-scans and post-scans with Defender, SAS, MBAM2, EEK, GSAM.
No problems detected after I sent the package to virustotal and metadefender (it's too big to be sent to jotti and virscan): links at the end of this post.
Those webservices show the same false positives for GAOTD setup.exe found in last years: I won't repeat them.
No problems during game download and during its installation.

I think this game misses at least a minimum of instructions.
I also don't know neither how to change its options, nor if this is possible.
It would be nice to change the keyboard layout directly inside the game.

Available keys (using the keyboard here):
I wasn't able to check the menu.
W: step forward
S: step back
A: step to the left
D: step to the right
C: crouch down
LEFT SHIFT: prepare to run
LEFT SHIFT + W or S or A or D: run in that direction
TAB: shows items
Moving mouse: the sight will follow mouse direction
Mouse right-click: zoom in

I'm keeping it to further experiment, I don't know if I will be able to play with this.

Thanks to the GAOTD team, in particular to Whiterabbit-UK!
Follow the white rabbit, guys!
Thanks for the game to MyPlayCity (and to the unknown game developer: yes, credits are also missing)!

I must also add this game isn't suitable for minors (under 18 years here in Italy)...
Although when I was minor myself, I always played non-suitable games and seen non-suitable films and tv series. ;-p

xilolee, Thank you very much for your comments. WR's original review did not as far as I can see include any info on how to play the game in terms of which keys do what or how a mouse or game controller would work. I figured out the mouse but it appears to me that I can't move using the mouse.

There also does not appear to be a way to configure the game. Mine is always full screen and on my 4k monitor the window in which the game is played is small and centered, perhaps about 1/9 or 1/16 of the screen with a giant black border surrounding the playing area. Even when I change my resolution from 3840x2160 to 1920x1080 the window remains the same size. This is not a good feature.

Thanks for your feedback No I found the game very uncomfortable to play, so gave up after half an hour. Left me with a nauseous feeling and a head ache. The lack of configurability really spoils this game for me, but I also found it a little tedious.

Ok I found the problem and got it installed. Some reasons I needed to restart again (even though I did that before).

I will give it a thumbs up but have some reservations as well.
Exterios is a dark horror survival FPS. You wake up from some sort of hybernation pod and are set loose in the ship without any clue but the introducing text. (see rabbits screenshots)

I found the game took me some time to get into. The translation in English is fair but obviously by someone that normally doesn't speak English or it has the "Russian Accent" on purpose, I don't know. It didn't really bother me but if you are a grammar N##i don't take the giveaway.

Some crouch bugs are present for upstairs levels, there is a chance that if you crouch you get warped to a room below the room you are in.

Some tips. The fact that you can go somewhere does not mean you have to do so. Do NOT reload before you shot the last bullet in the clip, not used bullets will be lost. Items are hard to spot (guns, clips) or don't have their collision boxes for selecting just right. Investigate each spot. Not all doors can be opened, not ever place that can be opened looks like a door.
Zombies take 5 pistol shots, they can not be avoided. Evil Wally-E takes a lot more but can be outrun, lure him to another room and double back with a door between you and him should lock him in the other room.

I have played a while, died a few times but for now seem unable to progress any further, most likely I will need to place some mirrors somewhere. It is a bit unclear. However, I am sure I will eventually find the solution.
Oh... and if you die it is game over, there seem to be checkpoints that you can go to when in the actual game but once you die it is start from scratch

Not bad, 7/10

Mavadelo, Have been playing a while but seem unable to progress any further. Videos (the few that are available) come as far as I do. I placed the mirrors, got the laser but have nowhere to go :(

If anyone knows what to do with the laser please inform us ;)

Downloaded this twice and I can't install. It telling me that the setup file is damaged.

Hi Daniel

The setup file is fine. What is happening is your security is blocking the installation due to the Themida wrapper. Either reboot in safe mode with networking then install the game, or white list the giveaway files with your security or temporarily turn off your security to install the game, then turn it back on. The giveaway team thoroughly check all downloads and have never given away a game infected with malware in the 10 years they have been operating; (the game giveaway project started early Dec 2006, though games were given away a least three times a week over on the main site when the main project started Oct 2006.)
