I downloaded and installed this game when it was offered and finally got a chance to try it. I deleted it right away. Maybe I've been spoiled by Turtle Odyssey but the game was soooooooooooo slooooooooooow that it took nearly a minute for him to walk, jump, and land one time. I also didn't like the graphics and that's important to me. Love platformer games though, this one just didn't cut it for me.

Ok.. here's my take on this one for what its worth.

Its basically an old school kind of platform. People who like flashy graphics and great sound/music will not like this much. I would rate the graphics about a C or so. The sound is ok.. maybe its a C also. Music is about there too.

If it was fun or novel it would be worth it. I guess its worth the download since it IS free. You might wanna try it and see if you like it because its one of those games you're either going to love or hate. I think I'm one of the few people that really just doesn't have much of an opinion on it. Its just kind of there. Most of my problem with it is I don't see a point to it. Am I working toward something? Msybe I just missed it. The other thing is the controls. Keyboard haters.. stay away. They are customizable and kind of livable if it was worth it. I have found, btw, that by customizing Mad Cars from the other day that its actually a pretty fun game.. although I stink at it. Anyway back to this...

I can pretty much sum up my opinion in one word. Mediocre. It reminds me of an 80s game.. possibly 90s. Played it for 15 minutes and got frustrated but mostly bored. Would I buy this one? No Way.

Thanks. I was happy to see the Dwarves back and was ready to download it till I found out I already had it and loved all 60 levels of it.
There are real variations between packs, not just cosmetic. There are couple of packs (both Brave Dwarves 2): Golden Fall - Gem level & March pack I am having trouble with. The Gem level has a long fall and there doesn't seem to be a way back (as much as I remember) and the March pack is sort of like a maze. At least 6 of the screens look the same but the four magic "doors" take you to different places. Trying to plot a map reminds me of "twisty passages" from the first computer text game.
I know I missed some packs when my laptops' hardrive gave up its ghost so I will be looking out for them.

I think if the game play was changed a bit, it could be a fun game.
Lets see if we can find a way to send fireballs or alien weapons ao ancient weapons.
If this was the first time you have seen this game, then get it. Its fun . If this is the 10th time you have seen it, then sorry don't DL it

Wow. Not only is this game terrible, I had to uninstall and use a restore point and it somehow managed to bork my screen resolution settings.

I just didn't care for it... something not quite right. I played an earlier version and felt the same about it too. Sorry...

Brave Dwarves games get an automatic thumbs down. Last year we were given enough Dwarves games to last several millenia.

Thanks for another game offer today. After such mixed reviews, I gave this game a try anyway - downloaded and setup very quickly, plays fine, but the movement controls have much to be desired! I saw at the bottom of the main game screen 2000-2004, so why does it not have better controls? Maybe if they raised their 'asking' price, they can upgrade? The music was ok, and the graphics are fine, but space-ctrl-arrows at the same time are just to difficult on my hands. Thanks - I'll be back tomorrow.

Thank you for the games that I have lost because my system crashed. Also thank you for allowing me to have games that I could NOT afford if I had to pay for. I enjoy playing games and I don't feel complaining about something I don't like serves a purpose. You will never hear complaints from me unless I can't get it to work.

Thanks for reminding me that I have Brave Dwarfs on here.. I loved playing all the different segments of this game, enough so that I bought the missing ones! This is a fun game and great for passing the time. And #16, just keep on trying.. I've done it to the end, and if I can do that, anyone can, with just a bit of patience!!!

Gee whiz, could they have made this game just a little more difficult? I've been playing for 45 minutes and can't even get past the first level. The only good thing about this game is that you can change the controls, which made it just a teeny, tiny, eency, weency bit better (I hate space for jump and CTRL for shoot). I'll try the game a little while longer but if it doesn't get better I'm deleting it. Good try though ggotd, keep em coming! Thanks

The Brave Dwarves series is an okay platformer, but there are many many releases in the series and they're all pretty much identical except for background art and level layout, and I personally found them tiresome. Hopefully GGOTD can mix them up for those who like these sorts of games and missed them the previous times around, but I'll pass, thanks.

I got this the first time it was out and really enjoy this type of game along with some hidden objects. The only thing left to post sometime is some hidden object type of games.
