This is a Mosaic Griddler (nonogram) game that includes a rebuilding aspect where you use the gems collected to purchase repairs and upgrades. It is very similar to Dwarves Craft: Mountain Brothers also on steam and bigfishgames but in this one you rebuild a house and surroundings which some here may prefer rather than ancient Dwarven halls of the Mountain Kingdom in the other. You can play in a Casual Mode which crosses off the numbers at the top of the rows one by one, or Advanced Mode which only crosses those off once an entire row or column has been completed. NO TIMERS! The Hint feature will fill in one random cell and the power up will fill in a cross-shaped area of your choice, and then refill after each use. This one also has several colors to fill in that are switchable on the right panel rather than one single color but nothing that I would consider too difficult.
3 star max for each puzzle are given which is lowered when you make a mistake, and there are 4 mistakes allowed. Steam versions should try to add steam achievements and other steam features as some people do like to purchase there instead when given a choice. I would say that the exit back to windows should be moved to menu along with saving in level progress if possible, and more options for the cursor than the windows normal cursor or the single enhanced one. Overall worth time to check out if you like these type of relaxing or mind challenging games but just doesnt offer anything really that really makes you want to come to play this one as the very first choice over other similar titles if you already have been playing one. If you havent this looks like one to keep.
Nonograms (also known as picross, paint-by-number, hanjie, pic-a-pix, mosaics and griddlers), are logic puzzles that consist of grids of squares with numbers above and to the left. These are logic puzzles where you use number clues along the edges of the grids horizontal rows and vertical columns which indicate how many of the cells you need to color in using the left mouse button in order to complete the level. When there is more than one number shown, that means the colored cells need to be separated by at least one or more empty non colored cells and using the right mouse button you can mark the empty cells during your guessing. If all is in the right places, the numbers at the end of the grid for that row/column disappears or it gives you a X for a bad guess which will reduce the number of stars given for completing the level. Higher numbers might be easier to figure out initially where it might have only a limited numbers of ways the combination can be arranged in to the grid such as a 6 requires 6 cells so it cant fit where there are just 3 cells. Aha! As you get further in a puzzle, those filled spots of course can make it easier to guess the other spots with the rest of the clues. Once all the spots are filled, you get to complete a level that you figured out from those clues and possibly a burst of dopamine hits your system kind of like falling in love..but without all the dating...
