There was a huge flood in the city after a massive heatwave made life hard to live in the year 2085, and still a downpour...Of course if its that bad you gotta fight like you're the third monkey on the ramp to Noah's Ark...
And brother, its starting to rain. But no, its future times and you have a helicopter and have to save all the people on the rooftops while avoiding flying debris.

I thought the gameplay might be more along the lines of the classic old game Choplifter available on many systems rescuing people and bringing them back to base https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvDnUHW_pjg but no it appears more along the lines of a endless flyer/runner moving in one direction and how far you can get. The graphics look good in the video but the game is using a gamemaker template base with some changes.

Unfortunately the game started and showed the intro, but in the first screen all I see is some rain and platforms and hear music but theres no helicopter to move either with shader both on and off and full screen on or off. I tried this one on a laptop with AMD Ryzen 5 3500U and AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics that runs most games ok. As far as controls I generally use the keyboard remapper of Microsoft Powertoys as one option if I dont like the setup since its mentioned regularly..
https://www.zdnet.com/home-and-office/work-life/how-to-remap-keys-using-keyboard-manager-in-microsofts-powertoys/

So I cant give a rating but unless there is much more to the gameplay other than the collecting humans and avoiding debris its more on the basic side of things and not something I likely would keep after trying but as always appreciate the giveaways to try new things!

Today's game is basically a survive as much as you can game. You control the helicopter with the WSAD keys and have to rescue as many people as you can until you crash your helicopter.

The gameplay in a sense reminds me of the game Defender and Defender 2 which I believe had similar objectives.

Despite the game being called Drowned Helicopter, i find the rain effects too much and can be distracting at times when trying to rescue the people on the screen. Additionally, the keys being used can make the game difficult overall if you are not used to using those keys in general for games like this,

There is a challenge to this game but in my opinion this is something you can play on your lunch break. FYI This game does offer a full screen mode and like most games we've received, there is a Shaders option which you can turn off if the game does not work properly for you. I did not have any issues with it turned on.

If you crave arcade games there are sales all over major platforms right now. Capcom notably which you can find the whole list here:

FYI Base game of Street Fighter V is only $4.99 if you can splurge get the more complete edition.
