Dreamland Solitaire 2: Dragon’s Fury:
Today's game is a card solitaire game featuring a dragon. You can read all the details you need above in the introduction to the game.

The card tables feel a little cluttered, but are very colourful (using some of the less muted card designs). The game has all the usual things you associate with these card based solitaire games, with some original features thrown in.

After a post by one of our regular community members in answer to a comment I made yesterday, I've decided to cut down my lengthy reviews and post my usual second comment detailing freebies and the latest game deals over in the forums to keep my usually lengthy posts to a minimum. I did say I would do this a couple of years ago, but habits die hard. I need to make a change as life has become a lot busier over the last few years.

Notes on Security

I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found 3 hit/s (VBA32 & Zilliya, Jiangmin & BitDefenderTheta) from 60 antimalware engines. These three are amongst only several antimalware suites that often tag Falcoware Games compared to most better known and more reliable antimalware engines; so, it's very likely to be a false positive.

The installation DOES NOT inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to Falcoware's home page following the games installation, it earns Falcoware games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away for free.

Whiterabbit-uk, hi .
I totally agree with JDP .
It's been months that I wanted to tell you the same thing ,
but I was afraid that I will insult you and your hard work .
And I have said many times how much I love your work
in this site ... :-)
So moving the "Free or Discounted Games" section of the
review to the Forum was a brilliant idea .
I 've used to read every line of it , but now , after the 3 heart
attacks and 3 ischemic episodes (mini strokes) that I had ,
my brain can't cope with all that data .... :-(

About the game ...
In the System Requirements (blue info box) , I see "Windows 7/ 8/ 10" .
No Windows XP .
Nevertheless , I've installed the game under Windows XP and it works just fine .
All you have to do is to "rearrange" the shortcut's path .

Looks like it would be a fun game. Too bad the card faces are all blank. I can see the back ground and tutorial just fine but not the card faces. I tried both screen sizes, no help. Win 10 system.

Thought I recognized the name, but couldnt find it on my computer, tried it, it seems decent although I get bored of up/down solitaire, because literally 99% of solitaire pc games are up/down. Saw a review that said it had some additional mechanics later in the game, just tried the first level so far. But worth a play through, it's a quality game and Alawar is an excellent developer.

While I whole-heartily applaud WR taking more time for himself -- he's been selflessly going above & beyond for years -- I would politely as possible disagree with any opinions that the shorter review itself is an improvement rather than the simple result of necessity. To me that implies both a lack of the ability to focus -- something critical to using the internet -- and a lack of familiarity with the mouse scroll wheel. Some people do feel that the web contains too much info, too many opinions etc., but no one lives in a bubble -- why try to confine your mind to one?

I'd still prefer to post more info as I'm sure many appreciate it, but I do think it's time I reduce the amount of time I spend on this site. I will still post for most games, but in a reduced format. I'm really behind in several projects some of which have been neglected for several years (e.g. editing my large collection of family cine films that my late grandfather created. I want to have the whole lot scanned, but the cost is prohibitive, so I'm editing out stuff that isn't family oriented such as the Queens visit to my home town in the 1960's, and other events, which I'll be donating to an archiver). It will still cost me a few thousand pounds to have the film cleaned then scanned), plus lots of other projects that I've neglected for far too long.
