A nicely done game. Some of the instructions weren't clear, but I figured them out after a bit. I had to give up on using the timed mode. I played level 4 a half dozen times, and just never quite made it.
I like the variety of objects .
I'd describe it more as a pairing objects game, or match objects. Hidden objects is more of searching thru a scene for things..

I also had the overlaid error screen. The first line of the error code said the game couldn't access the splash-screen in the programfiles folder - so using the "Run as Administrator" option sorted it for me. (Windows 11 x64).

I have installed/reinstalled this game twice. The first time I play, it's fine. When I exit and then go back in to play some more, it gives me a window full of coding lingo at the top of the screen. I finally uninstalled it for good, which is unfortunate because I really liked the game.

Bethany, that is unfortunate to hear I am on Win 11 64 Bit and the game is working fine. I'm wondering if there is a common theme in hardware with those who are posting today which does not work on their system for any any given reason.

Say your prayers, little one. Don't forget, my son - To include everyone. I tuck you in, warm within. Keep you free from sin - Till the Sandman he comes. Sleep with one eye open... Gripping your pillow tight. Exit light. Enter night. Take my hand... We're off to Never Neverland. Hmm, perhaps Metallica was a beta tester or should play the song ENTER SANDMAN when the game begins to get into the mood :)
This appears it is the third game in a series (A Plot Story https://game.giveawayoftheday.com/a-plot-story/ , Witch's Tales, and Dream Walker) and is similar in part to Dreamscapes: Nightmare's Heir which is the sequel to Dreamscapes: The Sandman and continues the storyline. In those two, the game is primarily a point & click adventure with puzzles with some actual traditional hidden object sections scattered throughout in the sequel. It appears they first offer a hidden/object adventure game and then take parts like the characters, storyline and objects and make a different "clutter" style game. If you've never played Clutter games like this one, you must remove matching pairs of items, triple matches or sometimes variations such as one object in color and its match without color in a heaping pile of junk (clutter). For example in level 2 you have to match 20 matching pairs of items from the screen cluttered items but cant move the items around.
You can choose between 3 different modes of difficulty, Very Casual with no time limits, Casual with just enough time (well, not always) or Hard which gives you 20% less time than casual. Although most of the puzzles are these find in a clutter type games, there are also the occasional jigsaw puzzles or slider type puzzles available as well. These jigsaw type puzzles which can be skipped will earn you an extra hint to use in the clutter puzzles, and the hint feature will recharge faster when you click on the crystals, located within each clutter puzzle. If you don't use a hint, you will receive extra points, and you get points for any remaining time you may have. The storyline progresses between levels a bit at a time. Keep in mind there are also 91 levels and so a bit long to see all the variety and issues that may turn up. So far only experienced a problem during the initial running of the game which was fixed by running the shortcut or game exe as an administrator. This one is less like a typical HOG and more again of the clutter type matching if you like that. If you prefer adventure with puzzles and some HOG thrown in with a similar , try the Dreamscapes: Nightmare's Heir version.

As mentioned by others, this is NOT a HOG, but a variety of games (match pairs, three-of-a-kind, sliding puzzles, etc.). It is quite entertaining; I've been playing it since it was last given away here, and it's replayable. My biggest complaints (one kinda important, the other more an annoyance): 1. it runs the computer very hot; I have to turn on my fan from Balanced to Cool every time I play. I don't have that issue with any other game or program at all, so it ain't me! 2. With the game type where you have to turn over cards and match them, often when I score 3 stars, it acknowledges that on the game screen but then shows 2 stars on the map. Since with all the other varieties I play til I get 3 stars (not very hard), it's frustrating. Overall, a worthwhile download as long as you check your temperatures. Really missing real HOGs lately!

neme, I am not sure what would cause this. My computer is an Intel Celeron N4020 1.1Ghz with 4gb of Ram and Intel UHD 600 I don't feel any heat when playing this game. If you have not already try updating your drivers. My laptop is a fanless system. Some games rarely have unintended effects with the platform they run on and could be your computer is an exception to the rule. I remember seeing in the Steam community that the game Gyromancer caused some users computers to overheat, Why I don't know........ Hopefully you can get to the bottom of this.

sailorbear510 aka Jason, thanks. This is the only game (or program of any kind) that I seem to have this issue with. So when I play, I just turn the fan from 'balanced' to 'cool' for the duration of play. It's not a deal-breaker but figured others might benefit from keeping an eye on the heat. My lappy, btw, is a relatively new, pretty darn powerful laptop; I sometimes think the less powerful the machine, the better it runs :).

Today's game is more of a variety game versus an actual hidden object game if you will. It has different challenges to progress the story line from puzzles to hidden object scenes and so forth
When you start out the game, you assemble a jigsaw puzzle and once it's completed the game begins to tell you its story line. The next challenge preceding it is a hidden object scene and you will find other kinds of puzzles throughout.
One thing that makes this game unique is that it has a relaxed mode built into the game. The game does have some challenging moments so it's handy to have. If you feel you need an even more difficult challenge you can pick a more challenging mode as well.
The graphics are pretty clear and sharp and I had no problems seeing anything on the screen. Game is presented in HD for those of you who have wide screen monitors.
In conclusion if you are tired of the heavily story driven nature of many hidden object games and you just want challenging puzzles to play without the bloat, this game may be for you.
Now that we've had a variety of games on here the last few weekends I'd love to see clutter type of games or games that possibly involve painting by the numbers etc.

Unfortunately the screen has an overlay of the screen size and error messages on the top quarter of the screen which makes playing the game impossible. I am using windows 10 64 bit

Henry, I've noticed some games if you have your display scaling set to over 100% that some games will not launch. 125% is pushing it and if it's at 150% it's going to cause issues with some apps. Can you try reducing it to 100 to see if you can play?

Henry, after restarting the computer and uninstalling and reinstalling the game it now works

Just FYI for anyone else who may encounter this issue.
After installing, uninstalling and reinstalling, I continued to have the same issue with an overlay at the top written in DOS looking format. It mentioned an error accessing the "splash.jpg" in the "screenbranding" folder. Deleting that jpg cleared the error up. Win10HomeX64 here.
