Notes on Security

I scanned a zipped copy of the installed game using Virus Total and it found 3 hit (VBA32, Jiangmin & SentinelOne (Static ML)) from 59 antimalware engines. These three are amongst only several antimalware suites that often tag TooMKY Games compared to most better known and more reliable antimalware engines, so it's very likely to be a false positive; so, it's very likely to be a false positive.

The downloaded executable 'may' include some low level adware that opens your browser to TooMKY Games home page after the game has installed and may place some shortcuts onto your desktop; these can be safely deleted once the game has installed.

The installation does NOT inject any malware into your system. When your browser is opened to TooMKY Games home page following the games installation, it earns TooMKY Games games some money, part of which is given to the developer of the game for allowing the game to be given away free. The giveaway version of TooMKY games version has had most of the adware disabled.

From Thursday 25th (late afternoon) next week we will be getting two games that include Antstream - Epic Welcome Pack - Grab 1090 Gems for free to use in-game! This in-game currency can be spent on playing games, challenges and limited-time tournaments! Gems can also be used to unlock harder challenges and play turn-based PvP against friends and other players!. Better still we will also be getting the base game for The Hunter: Call of the Wild; (which is presently my favourite game that I'm playing virtually every day both solo and with friends since June 2021). Hi Anna,

Sorry, I didn't make it very clear. Both games mentioned i.e. Control and Dragonage Inquisition are both available via CD Keys. The Control key activates on Epic and the Dragonage Inquisition on GOG. I'll correct the mistake by adding ''from CD Keys''. I did note that some of the coding I used was placed incorrectly, so some parts were missing from the seen post, which did make it unclear. Thank you for pointing that out..

Where it says Epic Version, that was indicating where you redeemed the CD key once purchased from CD Keys.

On Windows 10 system. Installed ok but when I start the game is goes straight to the thanks for playing website. Any idea how to prevent this.

I installed this with no problem on my WIN7 machine. No issues with the hints. Nice little game. A keeper. Appreciate it, Toomkey, and of course always appreciate White Rabbits descriptions.

Humble has gotten progressively worse since it's purchase but it's still decent. However Indie Gala is awful but for a few bundles and their freebies. The one that shines through is Fanatical and i love their "Build your own Bundle" bundles.

Hi Delenn, I agree that the bundles are not what they were, but they still offer some reasonable ones, plus of course free games. Because I promised not to buy many more games, at leas using my bank accounts I rarely buy anything unless it is deeply discounted. I did continue with the Humble monthly, which I was glad I did as I get the cheapest prices with the choice bundles. I like that you can suspend your subscription if the games don't come up to scratch. Got to say, the last two choice bundles haven't been that good. As for Fanatical, because of my promise, I've totally steered clear, but will check it out thanks to your comment.

Fanatical used to be Bundle Stars. I don't know if you recall that. They, also, have something called Star Deals. They offered Hob for 85 cents CA for 24 hours and then they had Torchlight 1 and 2 for 1.99 CA. When you buy something they give you a 5% coupon to be used too. I have been watching them for certain people's Christmas gifts. Make sure you sign up for their newsletters.

I have the Classic Humble too. I was really surprised to see Wingspan in there. Ila from Maine bought that for me for my birthday. It's a perfect gift for people who like nature and birds plus it's educational as you learn about bird habitants. It's Number One on the BOARD GAME site and right now it's up to over a 100.00 CA to buy the real thing. It already has an addition. It contains all the birds from Australia and I am sure they will add other sections too. I am looking forward to the African one.

Hi Delenn, Yes, I bought quite a few Bundle Stars bundles. As mentioned before, I stopped all my bundle purchases (apart from the Humble monthly, which was on a paid subscription) around mid summer 2017. It's only recently I've been looking at them. I do agree that the Indie Gala bundles are not as good as they used to be.

Back then most of the bundles I bought I already had most of the games in the bundles. Now it's getting better, but I still have a lot for example the Survive or Die bundle I already have five of the seven. The only ones I don't have are SCUM and Breathedge. I'm still considering getting them as I was interested in Breathedge and Scum has been on my wish list since it's release.

Our male rabbit has improved , but is still not out of the woods. I'm exhausted after weeks of getting little sleep, but our vigilance does seem to have paid off. The only issue now is getting his new partner and him sorted. We put them together several times a day, but so far the female who is almost twice the size of the male has nipped him several times, but they have also groomed each other. If they don't bond in the next three or four weeks we will have to return the female.

I've just recovered my Fanatical bundle as there are a few of the bundles I was eying up. Once I'd gained access I was shocked to find 100 pages each with 20 Steam keys of games I'd purchased between 2015 to 2017 via bundle Stars. Plus a further seven pages of listed bundles I purchased from 2012 to 2015 (around another 2000 keys)

Many of the pages appear to have been redeemed, but I did have the habit of revealing all of the keys then backing them up on word documents. Because it's been several years I now cannot remember which keys have been redeemed and which are still valid (if I could find the original documents I may have a chance, but as I have over a thousand unlabelled disks of backup up games, documents and other bundles It's a horrendous task to take on.

Do you know of any way Steam codes can be checked without actually redeeming them? If there was a way to test keys to see if they are still valid without redeeming them, it would enable me to give away keys without giving ones already redeemed. There are about 20 pages where I've not revealed the keys, so will be making a list of those sometime soon. I'll check to see if there are any I can give you eventually. :)

Ah yes, Green Man Gaming. I used to buy from them. The last game I bought was the last Bioshock title, which I pre ordered from them. They were offering something like 40% off the pre release price plus giving away three other AAA games such as the other Bioshock games, and others. It was an amazing bargain. At the time I didn't know that the developer of the game was going into receivership.

okay downloaded it i am liking it - you really have to think with no map but i suppose a map is a hint in a way quite different than the normal hog games you have to really look at all the scenes items are hidden there i am enjoying it the puzzles are relatively easily - the scenes are colourful but easy on the eye thank you the game another keeper

Well that was a DISASTER. Installed with no seeming problem, but when I went to start the game, Suddenly popped up Fatal Error and my entire laptop froze completely. Couldn't even CAD to get task manager to end task because the Fatal Error popup covered the part of the task manager window that lists the running processes. Had to restart the computer finally cold and then uninstalled.

Thanks, WR! Do you know if the old issue with the hint button eventually crashing the game was ever fixed? Since there's a walkthrough, I guess one could avoid the hint button :) but buggy games just drive me nutz :).

Thank you neme. Both are okay. The male rabbit Nessie (originally named Rab C Nesbitt after the character from a TV sit com, but shortened to Nessie because the original was a mouthful), seems okay at the moment. The problems he was having seem to have been resolved by changing his diet more often and keeping a two hourly check and feed. This is the main reason my reviews have either been missed or have lacked detail for the past month.
