The Game:

Parents need to know that Doodle God is a downloadable puzzle and strategy game that requires players to create and combine elements to build a new world. There are a variety of levels where players can make their own worlds by building on existing elements. Elements range from earth to bacteria to energy. Players must pay attention and use their brainpower to create 26 worlds and 249 elements. It's important to note that some elements showing images of sex and alcohol aren't appropriate for younger players, just as some quotes attached to elemental creation aren't appropriate for kids.

This interesting puzzle game takes a combination of patience and logic as players try to come up with new creations to enrich their world. Game play is easy and straightforward, and once you start playing, it's easy to continue from level to level without having to figure out controls. Players must finish one world to proceed to the next but may also play in quest, puzzles, and tournament modes when they need a little variety. That being said, some of the elemental content includes alcohol and sex as well as a variety of cheeky quotes that some parents may find inappropriate for younger players.

Players will be challenged, as they must think outside the box to get the correct combos; since there are so many that must be created to finish your world, you can check the in-game encyclopedia and achievement board to see which ones you're still missing. The game itself presents just the right combo of intrigue and entertainment that makes players want to continue building their worlds, but it's challenging enough to keep you from getting bored. Doodle God also gives players creation challenges such as making clay, butterflies, and a turtle, which are rewarded with in-game hints. If you've been looking for a game that isn't your typical puzzler, Doodle God will keep you on your toes with challenges and puzzles that give you the satisfaction of creating your own world.
