Hi Earl, Falcoware games use an installer that runs every time you play the game. It contains low level adware that is integrated into the launcher that shows you various game deals, but is not malicious and it does not install anything on your computer. They use this and browser redirects to earn cash through adverts, part of which is given to the developers of the games they give away. All the games given away are not freeware games, but commercial titles. Developers can earn more from this type of distribution than actual sales, especially once the game becomes older than a few months.

Yes it is. This game comes from Falcoware Games and is already pre-activated, so you won't get the usual message that says activated. It's the same with all of the giveaways we get from Monday to Friday.

Hi Martin, I wrote the following to Tester (in German), I've had it translated it back to English:

The download files are not infected with malware. Your security has detected the low-level adware built into the Falcoware game launcher. This was added as the developer allowed Falcoware to give the game away. In return, they earn money through the ads you see when you start the game, and stop the game. Your browser is redirected to their website, where they earn more money. Part of it will be given to the developer as compensation. This game is usually sold through Steam and other game distributors.

There are three ways to prevent the setup file from being removed from your security:

1) ... temporarily turn off your security until you have the game installed (the fastest method)
2) ... white-list the giveaway files with your security
3) ... Restart in safe mode with networking, install the game and then restart as usual

The Games Giveaway Site is a reputable site that has been giving out games virtually every weekend and sometimes during the week for almost thirteen years. (In the first two years of the project, we got games virtually every day and since October / November 2018 we get them regularly during the week and they've 'never' given away a malware-infested game - if there was a real threat, we would have been inundated with comments from the community. The low level adware does not add anything untoward onto your computer and does not spy on your browser activity like some adware does.

p.s. : I ran the zipped file through Virus Total and there was one hit from 56 engines and it was an adware file. As I said earlier, the Game launcher includes low-level adware that does not affect your computer.

Thanks for your excellent feedback CAD, its appreciated. I didn't have time to play both of today's games thoroughly, hence the lack of any explanation of how to play the games, I was up until 4am finishing off what i did post. I agree Dimitry's graphics are excellent, he creates these game son his own, so i'm impressed. I love the saturated colours. He's already given us several other games over the last few months, most of which have been reasonably playable i.e. Masha Rescues Grandma, Stickman Destruction, Stickman Destruction 2, Stickman Jetpack, Rescue Lucy 1 & 2 (both of which had similar graphic to today's game using the same game engine) and Aqua Fish.

IMHO, and for a one-man band, Dimitry's game is up to the standard of many Alawar HOGs; definitely in graphics, "puzzle" factor, and mini-game department.

(In den ersten zwei Jahren des Projekts haben wir jeden Tag Spiele bekommen und seit Oktober / November 2018 bekommen wir sie regelmäßig während der Woche und sie haben noch nie ein mit Malware infiziertes Spiel verschenkt. Wenn es eine echte Bedrohung gab, haben wir wäre mit Nachrichten aus der Community überschwemmt worden.

Postscript: Ich habe die gezippte Datei durch Virus Total geführt und es gab einen Treffer von 56 Engines und es war eine Adware-Datei. Wie ich bereits sagte, enthält der Game Slauncher Low-Level-Adware, die sich nicht auf Ihren Computer auswirkt.
