This game was a strange kind of solitaire indeed but in the same format we typically we get from 8 Floor except this is a different developer I have never even heard of the developer of the game before. And I agree with the comment of this game as it's a bit hard to see the cards.
The solitaire game takes things a bit further by adding in hidden object scenes and locking cards / making you work hard to unlock powerups and purchase extras and make the game easier. Never cared for the story line though in the diary just was interested in the card game itself. Needs better to read cards etc.
Game was released a couple of years ago and already was made free on the Toomky site shortly after although it has some of the add ons this version does not.
However, Toomky game versions seem to almost certainly be the original release when the games came out and may not contain bug fixes and so forth so it's difficult to see if improvements were made.

I don't particularly like this game, but 3 does not look like a jack. It's obvious that the jack is jack, and the three is the three. But it is a strange looking font.

The numbers on the cards are such a strange shape that I find them hard to read. I thought a three was a jack, because the symbol looked more like a J than like a 3.
I'm sure someone thought this font looked elegant, but when it's weird enough that it's hard to tell what the symbol actually IS, it's the wrong font!
